About: I work remotely with a flexible schedule. I have had dogs in our family ever almost 20 years. Our family dogs passed away recently and we don’t plan to adopt another one. About: I have never not had 2 to 3 dogs in my care at all times. My husband and I are incredibly active people who love to incorporate our animals as much as possible! We recently lost our oldest dog and are feeling the hole in our hearts, and our wishing to open our hearts to the animals in our community and to spread that extra love to your pets:) I currently work part time at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She made sure that Sadie was comfortable with her dog prior to the stay and sent daily updates and pictures, even taking her on hikes and runs. We truly felt like she treated Sadie like a member of her family and would love to have her watch Sadie again!”

“Wendie watched our dog Twyla while we went on our honeymoon overseas. She had also had a day stay with her prior to our trip. Twyla had a fantastic time. She got lots of nice and interesting walks and walking paths and quality time with Wendie and her son. She seemed more stimulated than she does at our house so that is great to know she was kept busy to get her energy out. I am always nervous leaving our pooch when we got out of town especially overseas . Wendie put us right at ease with that worry. She sent tons of photos and updates and Twyla seemed content and happy while she stayed. We have already asked Wendie to keep Twyla again!”

“I have been using Rover for years now, and I can confidently say that Maiko is the BEST Rover dog sitter I've ever had and I will try every time to secure a stay with her for my mini bernedoodle, Trixie, in the future. Maiko only sits for one dog at a time, is a dog lover and former dog owner herself (who sadly lost her own pup about a year ago), a near-professional photographer who sent us the best photos of Trixie we have ever had(!), and her two young children adored and were so good with Trixie as well. Maiko is superb all-around, with communicating (asked us of her own volition how Trixie handled fireworks, as she watched Trixie over 7/4 holiday), with caring (Trixie so obviously grew so fond of Maiko and her family, with photos of her nestling against them all!). Trixie came home to us in great spirits, relaxed and happy, which has not been our experience often in the past with Rovers who watch multiple dogs at a time. Maiko is the BEST!”
