I can almost never stop myself wanting to say hi to dogs being walked on the street! I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals and their personalities! I have 2 cats named Zuko and Oliver, who I adore, who provides me countless hours of entertainment. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have hands-on sitting experience, so I know how to read a dog's needs and keep them comfortable. I'm also very active — I'm currently training to hike the Enchantments at the end of the summer and log a lot of miles each week, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and enrichment on our walks, not just a quick trip around the block. I'm currently working part time, which means I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week to give dogs the time and attention they deserve — walks aren't rushed, and visits aren't squeezed in between a packed schedule. I have a large fenced-in yard, so dogs have plenty of safe space to run and play. We have learned and refined our dog ownership skills over time, finally investing in professional training for both our dog and ourselves in 2025. That experience shaped the kind of care I offer today. I believe dogs thrive with clear structure, consistency, and calm communication. I strive to provide the kind of boarding experience I wish I could find for my own dog, where training, routines, and boundaries are respected while you're away. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, daily walks, and a very friendly Mini Australian Shepherd who enjoys canine company. Your dog won't be left alone for a typical workday. I do leave the house for school drop-offs and pick-ups, errands, or weekend activities. Dogs should be comfortable being alone for a few hours. Because I have both a young child and my own dog, I only accept dogs that: -Are friendly with children and other dogs. -Are up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. -Can comfortably settle into a family home.
