About: Hello! My name is Cave and I have experience taking care of dogs of all ages and sizes, but have a soft spot for senior dogs! I have over 3 years of experience caring for senior dogs with limited mobility and health issues. I enjoy learning how to be a better friend and caretaker to our furry friends by trying to give them as much autonomy as possible and prioritizing their needs and ways of communication. Use my promo code CAVET94308 for a discount when booking with me! My schedule is most open from 10am-8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays but generally I can be flexible and work around your schedule. I am available for same day bookings but ask for at least a 4 hour notice please! 🐾🐶 The safety and comfort of an animal is my top priority. I am a very thorough pet parent myself and will always make sure to review any specific needs your pet has in order to provide them with a fun and comfortable time.

“Rachel was an absolutely wonderful sitter! She was incredibly responsible and kept me updated with tons of photos and videos, along with detailed status updates throughout hours. Whether she was walking my dog or spending time with him at home, she always made sure I knew how he was doing. She’s also very attentive to details and extremely patient, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared and took the time to understand my dog’s special needs. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter !!!!!!!”

About: I've cared for animals my entire life, starting with my own pets as a child. I've also provided trusted care for friends', neighbors, and family members dogs, cats, horses, birds, and small critters. I'm especially experienced with rescue pets, having cared for my own dog who was rescued as a street dog from Taiwan, as well as 2 kittens rescued from a bucket on the streets of LA. This has taught me patience, compassion, and how to support pets with unique backgrounds and needs. I treat every animal with the same love, respect, and attention I have given my own. Because every pet is family. I'm a single mom and I run my own small business from home, which allows me to make my own schedule and stay flexible. My kids are in daycare during the day, so I'm fully available to focus on pet care. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits anytime between 7:30 AM to 5 PM allowing plenty of time of time to focus on your pet's needs. I can also be available on the weekends anytime with enough notice. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need care outside of these hours and we can try to work something out. At this time, caring for pets in my home can be a bit more challenging, as I have two small children and two resident cats. Because of this, in-home care would need to be the right fit for everyone involved. I may be open to hosting a small animal that is comfortable around children and cats, calm in a family environment, and able to transition well into a shared space. My priority is always safety, comfort, and a positive experience for both your pet and family.
“Riley was super reliable and communicative, and took great care of my cat for a couple of weeks while I was out of town! She provided clear and detailed updates after each visit, including a bunch of pictures. I definitely recommend her!”

About: Having taken care of my own dog for 14 years, I understand how to make sure they are properly taken care with love and care. I am currently a full time student at the University of Washington, so taking care of animals provides me with a fun and fulfilling study break. I am able to read pet emotions fairly well, and I promise to be very present and aware of the pet(s) while I am taking care of them!
About: I have consistently pet-sat and house-sat for the last five years in the Bellingham and Seattle area. I have experience caring for small and large dog breeds, as well as cats. As a law student, my schedule is pretty flexible! I am currently a law student, but my schedule is very flexible, as classes require me to be on campus for only two to three hours a day. Additionally, I have a car that allows me to easily commute to wherever your pet lives. The rest of my time, I am available to take care of your pet! Depending on what your pet likes, I love taking walks, playing with their favorite toys, and vegging out on the couch! When I'm house-sitting, I make sure to clean up after myself, follow any schedules necessary, and respect the home I'm in!
“Amy is super sweet and kind. My kitty always had good time with her. She took lots of pics and sent to us after every visit because she understood how much we missed our baby. Will definitely rebook Amy next time!”

“Stephanie was so great with our feisty little cat Fennel! They are super friendly, responsible, and left us detailed updates and took lots of photos. Would definitely book with them again :)”

“Mick checked in regularly and sent sweet photos playing with Libby. I did notice when I got back that Libby’s water bowl was empty, which usually takes a few days. He gave her her spoonful of wet food, which is enough to get by if she went without water for a little while, and when I asked he said he refilled the bowl every day. Going forward I would just remind Mick to keep an eye on food and water.”

“Caleb was personable, responsible and totally amenable to the specific schedule we needed for our pup and senior kitty. Definitely appreciated the time he took with both animals and they seemed to do great in his care. Thanks Caleb! We plan to rebook for a few long weekends this summer. :)”
“Simon really went above and beyond to take care of my three cats Tiger, Leopard, and Sprite. He gave them a lot of individual attention and we are very impressed that he got Sprite to come out of her sleeping box to play within two visits. We can tell Simon is a great observer and has good experience with cats as he quickly learned the nuances of how each cat likes to play. We received very detailed updates and tons of photos and videos of the kitties that were absolutely adorable! Would definite rebook and also recommend to every one!”

“Mandy always takes great care of Spike & Sandy whenever she walks them or stays for an overnight visit. She gives them plenty of attention and cuddles!”

About: I’ve grown up with a lab and have had my own dog now for 2 years. I live in an apartment but it is 700 square feet and on street level so we have easy access to being outside. I am especially good with shy dogs, as my dog was a shelter dog that took a lot of time coming out of her shell. I work part time so have lots of time to hang with your pup! I have a 2 year old dog of my own, and we love going to dog parks, on hikes, or just for some sniffy walks. We would love your dog to join us! Dogs are allowed on furniture but can be crated if that is the preference. They will be outside at least 3x a day, and will have a total minimum exercise of 90 min!
About: I grew up with pets, from fish to large dogs and now I even have my own cats! I love animals and would definitely be taking care of your fur babies as if they were my own:) I find my self with lots of open availability after my regular job and on weekends and am just looking to fill up that time with something fulfilling. Pets are like children, I will treat them with the same respect I would an actual child. I’m a cat owner so I know how to be safe with animals. I will ensure that they have everything they need and pay close attention to them.
About: I've had both dogs and cats since I was born. I've trained puppies with basic commands like sit, down, and stay, and I've raised two dogs and two cats from infancy. I've also cared for senior dogs with specific dietary and exercise needs. I've also cared for birds, rats, and rodents, and can care for your smaller pets! Whatever your pet needs, I'm here for! Any day after 5pm works for me, however I do have a part-time job so I work one to three days a week. Other than that, I'm available any time on my off days, so just message me! I let all pets sleep with me (if that's what they're used to) and abide by any feeding and walking schedule they need! I make sure to give them lots of love!
“Maria has watched my 2 dogs & cat a couple times now. She responds to communication quickly & came for a meet n greet beforehand. She was able to play with our rambunctious boxer as well as take our 16yo tiny chihuahua on a slow & steady walk. She sent pictures of all animals each day showing they were each healthy & happy.”

About: I love staying active and spending time outdoors, which makes dog sitting and walking such a joy for me. Whether your dog loves long walks, quick potty breaks, or energetic playtime, I’m happy to match their energy. I’m reliable, communicative, and always focused on keeping your pets safe and smiling! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I'm currently on a long winter break during my second year of medical school at UW. I'm looking to fill my days with some friendly cuddles and to smiles during the dark Seattle Winter before starting hospital clerkships in April! I have a fenced back patio and a lot of living space in my 3-bedroom townhome that I share with my sister. We don't have any pets, so I'd be 100% devoted to caring for your pet while he's at his home away from home!
University District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Highly recommend nikita! Nikita sent great photos and videos and funny write ups. My boy is a scaredy cat but loves pets, and Nikita was very patient in talking to him and he eventually came out for pets! Rare for him! Nikita was very easy to coordinate with, trusted with my boys care

Alijah was great with my cat. During my Christmas vacation she kept me updated on how he was doing and provided pictures as well. She also made sure she had the information she needed, such as where the cat carrier was in case of emergency and where the apartments trash area was for litter disposal. She also made sure that my boy got the attention he needed and that he had food and water. It was hard for me to to leave him behind for the amount of time I did, but Alijah showed that he was in good hands while I was away. Overall a positive experience and I will consider her next time I go traveling and am short on people to look after my cat.

Aaliyah has taken such amazing and thoughtful care of my cat and senior bunny - she is responsible, reliable, diligent and a great communicator (she has also been very understanding with my travel schedule and response times) she has followed instructions, and gone above and beyond to cleanup any messes left by the critters. I very highly recommend Aaliah’s services!

Matty takes such good care of my two cats! I have one especially skittish cat who used to worry me every time I’d travel. Matty has petsat for us twice now, and he loves him. I always return to a spotless house and healthy cats. I will definitely only be booking with Matty moving forward!

Rachel was an absolutely wonderful sitter! I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter !!!!!!!

Shyann did an amazing job taking care of my two cats! Everything was kept very clean and organized, and she even helped groom my cat, which I really appreciated. My cats were clearly well cared for and comfortable while I was away. I felt totally at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend!

Zara went above and beyond when taking care of my two kittens, giving them time, attention, and affection. I also appreciated the clear and professional updates and pictures she sent of them and felt reassured that they were safe and thriving. I would definitely book her again next time I needed short or long-term pet care! My kittens would definitely be happy to see Zara again as well.
