“Meagan was fantastic! She shared daily updates about our senior cat, Pinot, along with pictures and videos. She also took excellent care of our house while we were away.”

“Thomas is awesome! He came over to meet our dogs before booking to make sure it was a good fit. He is communicative, friendly, great with the dogs, and gave great updates while we were gone. Our dogs love him and we hope to have him back!”

“Sabrina and Daniel house sat for my miniature Australian Shepherd Rosie. Rosie is 5 years old and while she is a sweetheart with her family, she is somewhat reserved with people she doesn’t know well. Sabrina and Daniel read her correctly almost instantly. They won her over with patience and a soft and gentle approach and maybe a few treats. ? They made sure she had all of her favorite things while we were gone: walks, play time, sunbathing, cuddle time and overnight company. Sabrina and Daniel kept us updated with texts and pictures which we very much appreciated. Although it was a holiday (Easter) and I would have understood if their time was limited, they were generous with their time and attention to Rosie. The house and yard were just as we left them. I highly recommend!”

“Aileen took great care of our pups and also us humans! She sent regular updates (with photos) and quickly responded to our follow-up questions with clear and helpful answers about our pet. She also left our place clean and tidy and even took care to bring in and neatly arrange some rather large packages that were delivered to our house while we were gone. Thanks, Aileen!”

“Rhiannon took amazing care of my 6 year old border collie and made sure he had lots of exercise. She left my apartment spotless and was super communicative with pictures and videos daily. Highly recommend and will be booking her again soon.”

“Allison did an amazing job watching for our dogs, who are starting to get old. Our bigger dog (husky/malamute mix), has bad separation anxiety and reactivity and she had no problems giving medication and taking care of him. Both of our dogs have high energy and she did a fantastic job taking them out. She also did a great job taking care of our house while sitting for the week we were gone. Very friendly and understanding, highly recommend!”

“Mandy was the most amazing pup and cat sitter! She was so professional and was the best to have while on our long two week trip. Our pets were just as happy when we got home as we had left them and the house was in perfect shape. We will definitely be recommending and using her again!”

“Aaron took great care of Duncan while we traveled over the holiday, sending us daily updates with a happy pupper. Also left our home as clean as he found it. Hope to have him take care of Duncan again in the future.”

“Karen communicates well, always leaves my place clean, and keeps my dog Reese happy while I'm away! She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure he is cared for.”

“Jolene was a dream come true. She went above and beyond. She took care of our little one as if it were her own dog. She kept us updated with lots of pictures. She was responsible and meticulous about every detail. We're already signed up to use her again! Highly, highly recommend.”

“Oliva was fab! Responded to my last minute request very promptly and was professional and easy to communicate with. My kitten still has a lot of energy and she handled him like a champ lol”

“Adrian was a wonderful companion to Kiska during our trip! He sent great updates and took him on long walks every morning. Kiska is an anxious boy but Adrian had a very gentle energy and handled Kiska really well. Our home was left in great condition. Our other Rover cancelled last minute and Adrian was able to come for a meet and greet right away and is clearly very capable with animals. Would definitely hire Adrian again!”

“Highly recommend Noah for housesitting. He took such great care of my pup and was very attentive to his needs. Sent lots of pictures and updates, which I love. And he left the apartment nice and clean when I came home!! Will definitely be booking with him again.”

“Allison was wonderful! Prior to our booking, she came all the way to our place for a meet and greet to make sure we were good fit. We really appreciate how attentive and respectful Allison was with our boy and our home. We would 11/10 recommend her to anyone, and would love to have her back anytime!”

“Eunice is so wonderful! She understood my directions really well, asked a lot of questions beforehand, and it looks like Eddie had a lot of fun hanging out with her too. By the time I came back from vacation he was well fed and bright eyed. I can't wait to book Eunice again!”

“Carly was great! Our two boys, Teddy (Dog) and Tucker (Cat), loved her, and she gave us great peace of mind while on our trip. Perfect communication and sent us lots of pics!”

University District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Signe did an amazing job with Maverick. She provided regular updates, communicated possible unusual behavior with Maverick (his periodic nail chewing is unfortunately normal 🙄), brought in mail, left the apartment cleaner than I left it etc. all without my request. Maverick got tons of exercise and got to explore new places, which he loves. Highly recommend and hope to book Signe again in the future.

Onyx and I both love Melissa so much! She takes amazing care of him every time, takes wonderful care of my apartment and is super communicative. I must say she takes some awesome photos and videos of him too. I can’t recommend her enough. Onyx is always soo excited to see her and was even a bit depressed after she left! Thank you as always 🥰

Saskia did such a wonderful job caring for our pups. She was so thoughtful and thorough in her communication, sent great pics & updates, and made us feel very comfortable that they were well cared for in her company. We are very grateful for her service, and would highly recommend to anyone!

Nadine is everything you’d want in a dog and house sitter: kind, thorough, caring, thoughtful, and diligent. Upon first meeting her, my reactive dog was completely at ease and warmed right up to her. That told me just about everything. When we returned from a long vacation, our house was in order but more importantly our dog was very well cared for and happy when we got home. Nadine is simply wonderful!

Noah watched my three dogs for four nights. My pitbull has serious anxiety and can be a little unpredictable. Noah knew how to behave around more difficult dogs and was endlessly patient. I felt comfortable leaving them in his care after our first meeting. My dogs couldn't have cared less when I got home which is certainly an indication that they got plenty of attention while I was gone! Noah kept in touch regularly and sent me lots of pictures. I'm very excited to have found a pet sitter I can trust with my dogs and my home.

Ian helped out to cover dog sitting for Ellie very last minute and was such an excellent person for her. He was able to meet on late notice and get to meet Ellie--especially as a dog with more anxiety he definitely knew how to take care of her and be gentle/give her the space she needed to get acclimated. He was very communicative and took great care of Ellie and the space. Definitely would have him watch her again!

I am so happy to have found Catherine! She knew exactly how to approach my shy kitty, letting him check her out and come up to her in his own time. When I came home he was relaxed and happy! This is HUGE for a cat with health issues triggered by stress. I would definitly book Catherine again!

Kevin is an incredible dogsitter! We found out our regular dogsitter had an emergency and wasn’t able to dog/housesit the night before a trip. Kevin came to the rescue and took care of our dog and home. Kevin is super communicative, sends tons of photos and most importantly kept our dog happy and healthy! Thanks Kev!

Leaving our dogs in dabs, Debs and Paul's care gave us such peace of mind while we were away. The daily update and pictures let us know that the dogs were being well cared for. Especially for our dog with epilepsy, updates about his medication schedule allowed us to have a stress-free vacation.
