“Sara was great with my elderly cats and made me feel so much better about leaving them for the weekend. She rolled with the constantly changing medical and food needs in the lead up to my trip. We'd all happily have Sara come stay again!”

“Racheal was our first ever pet sitter for Apollo. She stayed at our place and treated it like her own. I couldn’t be more grateful to have such a compassionate and loving person take care of our furry baby. She sent us lots of photos and updates which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Fabulous experience. Melissa was attentive and loving with Big Guy. she went above and beyond when he needed to go to the vet. She communicated often and well. How do I give her 6 stars? I hope she will come back and help us again.”

About: Been around animals my whole life, love cats and dogs, i work a flexible schedule so I'm open to last minute requests and changes as needed. I am very responsible and responsive, so even though I am new to Rover, you, your pet, and your home are in good hands <3 I work remote freelance, so my schedule is completely flexible and open when I am in town! Last minute from same day to same week is easy for me :) I am flexible to provide any care you specify and adapt to your needs! I am great at following instructions and always play on the safe side so your pet takes priority!

“Jenae stayed with Iris while we were out of town and we had a great experience! She was super responsive and communicative and flexible when Iris last minute needed to be give some medications while we were gone. Would book again!”

“Grant is a super sitter! Our pup is shy and slow to warm up to new people. Grant was patient, showed good instinct with a nervous nelly, and did a fantastic job. He was thorough in his prep for sitting. He asked great questions, provided frequent updates along the way, and we would highly recommend his services to anyone.”

“Ellie did a great job watching my high anxiety pup! She also was very respectful of my house and left things very clean. I would definitely have her back to watch my girl.”

About: Although I've been a cat person all my life, I've also always loved dogs. Recently my family members have been adopting dogs into their various collections of pets, including a Manchester terrier who has decided I'm his second favorite person (besides my mom, and I can't blame him there!). I've absolutely loved the opportunity to care for him when my parents travel a few times a year, and will absolutely bring that same level of enthusiasm to caring for your pup! I'm primarily self employed, as well as doing gig work, so I have a lot of flexibility to give your pet the care they need on a schedule that works for you! I'm most often available on weekdays, as the gigs I do usually fall on weekends. I'm very interested in learning your pet's personality, and taking the time needed to get them comfortable with me. I'm particularly good at "cat language", but am dedicated to learning "dog language" as well. I'd also love to hear from you about your pet's likes, dislikes, preferences, and anything else I should know to give them the best experience possible!
“Natalie is the best. So reliable and our pup doesn't miss it at all. We had a last minute digestive upset and she was on top of it with special diet, monitoring potty breaks etc. Thanks, Natalie!”

“Yas was wonderful with Toby! He gave us so many pictures daily, was always communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure our house was just as we left it when we returned. We’re always nervous trying a new dog sitter, but Yas made us feel confident that our little guy was taken care of. When we came home, he’d even left on a calming music for dogs playlist which was the cutest touch. We will definitely hire him again!”

“Primrose was a great sitter! She took time out of her day to meet with us before our trip so we could introduce her to our dog, Jack. This was our first time having someone outside our close family and friends stay with him, so we were a bit anxious, but Primrose kept us updated throughout the whole weekend by sending photos and reassurance. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Madeline is great! Our dog loves her. She provides us with lots of updates and sends us plenty of photos. It put us at ease. She took excellent care of our home and our dog. They went on lots of walks. This was our first time using a Rover house sitter, so we were a little nervous and not quite sure what to expect. All went smoothly, and we will definitely use her again. I appreciate her great communication with me throughout the stay. Thanks, Madeline!”

“Sydney was amazing, patient and sweet! This was the first time we left Silas and he did great! Sydney was so diligent in sending us updates and pictures! We totally felt at ease with our sometimes high maintenance pup. We will definitely be using her again for all our trips! Thank you Sydney! 💜”

“Eunice was great. She took out our pups on regular walks, managed their medication, and kept in regular contact. We’re so happy she’s one of our regulars!”

“Kate is amazing!! Our cat was being very difficult and Kate hung in there and brought her around!!! Thank you Kate for your diligence!!! Thoughtful, kind, caring and someone who I could trust in my home and with my baby.”

About: I have worked with Candid PNW pets for 4 years. I have regular clients that my spouse and I work together with to offer flexibility and total care for varying needs of pet parents. I have been doing this for 4 years and can provide references as well. My full time job is working downtown Seattle and I am a part time teacher with SPS, fully background checked and insured. My goal is to take care of your pets in a supportive way and that meets all yours and their expectations. It’s is easy enough to change my days of work so it allows me to sit with pets in a variety of ways that can be customized to the owners needs My goal is to spend as much time with the fur babies as possible. I love taking walks, playing with them and snuggling together to create a bonding experience. I’ve always had a great connection with animals and this is a great way to express that and create a fulfilling atmosphere for us both.

Admiral pet parents share their Rover experiences
My old man-child who I have loved and cared for for over 20 years usually takes a few days to warm up to people. He immediately fell for Kennedy. She is a cat Mama, herself, and it is as if he instinctively knew that about her. She has that chill, peaceful vibe naturally that cats are drawn to. I am so thrilled with the way the two of them hit it off, and really....how much he trusts her is truly the most important thing. I can't recommend her highly enough!
Primrose was amazing with Peach and kept us updated throughout the stay with thoughtful messages and photos. Peach can be timid at first, and Primrose was incredibly patient and let her warm up at her own pace, which we really appreciated. She was communicative, flexible, took great care of the apartment, and made the whole experience feel very easy and stress-free for us. We’ll definitely be booking with her again.

Katie is highly communicative, friendly and we felt so good on our vacation knowing our pets were in good hands. This was our first time leaving our puppy behind, and Katie provided lots of updates and continued his training while we were gone! Our cat also fell in love with her, and we could tell he was feeling so relaxed in our absence.

Nikolaj is definitely one of our favorite sitters- he took great care of our pets while we were away, sending lots of pictures during his stay! Our pets warmed up to him instantly and we knew we were leaving them in great hands. He also was an amazing house guest- left the place as clean as we left it and even stripped the bed to make laundry easy for us. 10/10 would absolutely book again!

Brendan has quickly become our go-to dog sitter for our three pups. We travel frequently and had difficulty finding someone to take on our large group. Wrangling three dogs is no easy task and Brendan does it all with true care and attention to our requested detail. We have used him for long and short trips. On all occasions, we have returned to a relaxed trio - not anxious, well fed and perfectly tired from all the engagement (walks, ball throws, cuddles). The cherry on top is Brendan’s care for our home when he stays. He tidies the common areas, runs the dishwasher and washes our bedding before we come home. He even helped fix our espresso machine! Truly a thoughtful caretaker. Whiskey, Brisket and Tacho appreciate you!
Michaela was amazing!! I can tell she gave my cat a lot of love since he was very chill and not stressed out when I got home. He’s an older cat that needs a lot of attention and medication daily. She was also very communicative and sent pictures throughout the weekend and left my house very clean after her stay. I would definitely recommend her and hope to use her again!
