13. Growlerz - Columbia City
“It’s so easy to write a glowing review for Growlerz Daycare. First it’s my dog’s favorite home away from home. I drop him off and he never looks back. The space is clean, well maintained with a staff that is friendly and experienced with many long-term team members. Most days you will also find one or both of the owners working to be sure your dog has a fun and safe experience. It’s more than just a daycare; it’s an awesome community for both pets and their humans.”

14. erica s.

“Erica was great with my anxious dog! She did a wonderful job communicating and went above and beyond to make sure my pup was as comfortable as could be!”

15. Kim & Jonathan A.
“Kim has a special love and care for animals which extends beyond her own pups and cats to those of others’ and of one’s in need. Her passion and pastime of fostering dogs not only exhibits her experience with many types of dogs but is a true testament to her character and love for animals. Even in the feline realm, Kim has been able to connect with my nervous, skittish cat Pearl, which only shows how much of a true animal whisperer she is! I look forward to Kim continuing to watch my pets and without hesitation will recommend her to anyone thinking of doing the same.”

16. Brenda W.
“Brenda is a reliable dog sitter, cares for my dog as if its her own. She is friendly, caring and has a spot in her heart for all animals. I would recommend her to anyone who is needing pet care.”

17. Beau B.

“Beau is kind, flexible and professional. Both my senior dog and my 7 month old pup went directly to him-exhibiting no separation anxiety at all. He took very good care of both dogs and worked-happily-around my complicated schedule. It was reassuring to trust that my dogs were getting top notch care!”

18. Lazy Dog Crazy Dog - Ballard
“My dog has separation anxiety and often prefers humans. He LOVES going to Lazy Dog Crazy Dog. He always comes home tired and happy. He has started opening up and playing with other dogs. He loves the attention of the amazing staff and they are so willing to give updates. I would highly recommend!”

19. Carrie S.

“Carrie was great! My dog loves going over for the day and didn’t want to leave. She also got a great walk!”

20. Melody M.
“Mel loves my dog Bella! She runs with her, and treats her like her very own child! I highly recommend her and will continue to use her!”

21. Kimberly V.

“Kimberly was awesome. Super accommodating and very helpful while I was trying to find someone. She took in both of my dogs and took them on walk during their stay. I’m so grateful to have found her. Thank you Kimberly!”

22. Joshua L.

“Minion and Stella had a blast with their play day with Josh. They slept like babies when they got home. We got great updates throughout their stay.”

23. Downtown Dog Lounge - Ballard
“Everyone always goes above and beyond to make sure my pup is getting the best care. She's been anxious in the crate, so we have been working with her at home and checking in with the team to see how she is progressing. Despite the crate anxiety, she loves it there. The staff make me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them.”

24. Samuel W.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs at all stages of life, from playful puppies to older dogs who move a little slower. I’m comfortable sticking to your pet’s routine, giving medication if needed, and making sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I try to treat every dog like they’re my own, whether that means extra walks, a quiet hangout, or some patience with training. I know every pet is different, and I’m happy to adjust to whatever your dog needs to feel comfortable. I work from home, so I’m able to be around throughout the day for walks, feedings, playtime, and just keeping your pet company. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can adapt to your dog’s routine—whether that’s early morning walks or midday check-ins. I’m around enough that your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and will get plenty of attention. When pets stay at my home, I do my best to make them feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. I keep a calm and clean environment and follow their usual routines as much as possible, including meals, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. Since I work from home, pets are rarely left alone and I’m always nearby to check in on them. My space is pet-friendly, with areas for both rest and play, and I pay close attention to safety by securing doors and gates and removing anything that could pose a risk. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priority.

25. Elena D.

“Elena did a great job with Maggie-Roo. Elena's communication was superior. Maggie-Roo was having fun and tuckered out enough after playing that she took a nap. That's the sign of a happy dog.”
