“Devan was awesome! Great communication and a natural at connecting with dogs and keeping them engaged. Benji did not want to leave! We hope to see Devan again!”

“Luciana was simply amazing. She took the time to meet our puppy in advance and consider fit with other dogs she watches, then took amazing care to integrate him with her "pack". She was extremely communicative and shared many pictures each day. She was very thoughtful in getting to know our dog and provide conditions and guidance that brought out the best in him.”

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’m far from new to caring for dogs. I’ve spent years looking after my own pup and pet sitting for friends and family, all out of a genuine love for animals. For me, this isn’t a side hustle; it’s something I truly enjoy. I have a Shih Tzu of my own named Cooper, who is my whole world. When it comes to walks, I’m a firm believer in dog-centered outings. Want to sprint? Let’s go. Need five minutes to thoroughly investigate that one bush? Take your time. We move at your dog’s pace, in your dog’s direction, because that’s what makes a walk genuinely enriching, not just exercise. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles. I’ll treat them exactly like I treat Cooper, like family. You can expect regular photo updates if I’m watching your pup, I know firsthand how hard it is to be away from your baby and how it can put a damper on your trip thinking about them missing you. I work from home full-time, which means your pet gets attention throughout the entire day, not just before and after a 9-to-5. No long stretches alone, no waiting until evening for a walk. I’m based in Lower Queen Anne and live in a cozy apartment with my boyfriend and our Shih Tzu Cooper. No children, no yard, but don’t let that last part worry you. Cooper and I do at least one 2.5-mile walk every day, and if I’m watching your dog, they can expect the same. Queen Anne has wonderful walkable streets and green spaces, so there’s plenty to explore.
“Erica was amazing! She was so kind and attentive to my puppy, Druid, and she was also very understanding and flexible with my somewhat fluid schedule. Druid came home happy and exhausted each night. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Jade was amazing! We got lots of pics throughout the day and she went above and beyond to try and get our picky puppy to eat! We would love to have Bodie stay with her again!”

About: I got my first pup when I turned 11 and have cared for them ever since, going on 14 years of owning a pet. Both dogs and cats! I enjoy interacting with pets and making them feel special on walkies or just hanging out with them. I currently run a small business so I am able to set my own hours and attend to other things such as walking or caring for your pet. I have a fenced in yard and three fur children in my household. Two dogs and a cat. I can also crate if needed for your pet.
About: With 9 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities, I bring a calm, confident presence, and deep understanding of animal behavior and support. Whether it’s energetic puppies who need love, socialization, and playtime, or senior pets who require patience, gentle handling, and medication support—I’ve done it all with compassion and consistency. I treat every pet like family and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness above all else. From long walks and enrichment play to cuddles and routine updates, I’m here to provide dependable, loving care you can trust while you’re away. Pet care is a meaningful part of my weekly routine, and I make it a priority to ensure your pets get the attention and consistency they need. I work Monday through Thursday from 9–5, but I offer flexible availability outside of those hours—including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, playtime, or overnight care, I’m happy to tailor my schedule to fit your needs. I also work with families, which provides extra support and ensures your pet always has someone dependable around when needed. Your pet’s comfort and routine are important to me, and I’ll work with you to make sure they feel safe, seen, and well cared for. I tailor my care to match each pet’s unique needs, routines, and personality—whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. In your home: I prioritize keeping your pet’s environment familiar and comforting. I follow your routines closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, litter box care, or quiet time. I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for in their own space, and I also respect your home as if it were my own—clean, secure, and well-maintained throughout my visit. In my home (if offered): Pets have access to cozy, pet-friendly spaces with plenty of love and attention. I create a calm environment, offer enrichment and playtime, and ensure they feel comfortable and included. Whether your pet is social or prefers their own space, I adjust the setup to suit their needs. No matter the location, I always send regular updates, photos, and notes so you feel confident your pet is happy and in good hands!

“Ponyo is a phenomenal person, has a great place/home for your dog. We’re came from California for our son’s wedding, and she accommodated our golden retriever like he was a family member. A+. Would recommend her in a moment. 10/10”

About: I grew up with pets, from large to small. My sibling and friends always rely on me fostering their dogs and cats. I work from home and won’t leave your pets alone. My husband and I work full time from home, so your pets will always be attended to. They will pretty much hang out with us while we go about our day. My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.
“Mariia was great! This was our first time leaving Zoey with her and after meeting her, we felt so reassured that Zoey would be safe and happy. We got lots of pics and Zoey looked like she was having a great time! We will definitely be booking with Mariia again :)”

“Ana was very understanding and flexible with my schedule, sent lots of happy updates and fun pictures of my very shy guy, Xavi, looking happy and comfortable. Ana and her family did a wonderful job with my dog who is very nervous with new people. It was a huge relief to see him doing so well. I definitely plan to have her watch Xavi again!”

“Zhongni was reliable, attentive, and took great care in creating a fun and comfortable space for Benji. I appreciated the walks and photo updates. Benji was sad to leave! We hope to see Zhongni again soon!”

“Thu was wonderful with our pup! She was our hero, stepping up and watching him after a last minute cancellation! She took Bodie on so many adventures and it was so evident he was cared for a loved all day. We would love to have her watch him again!”

“Copper loved his stay with Jill and Jacob! Jill and Jacob were able to accommodate my last minute request to watch copper for the day. They provided videos and picture updates the entire time he was at their house. Being a van dog, copper appreciated the luxury and AC on an especially hot day for Seattle. Thank you!”

“Travers took great care of our baby Dobey! He sent us some awesome pics and when we picked our little guy up he was clearly happy and comfortable around Travers. Travers also was nice enough to deal with my tardiness both at drop off and pick up so he is as flexible as he says he is in his bio. Will definitely use again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lower Queen Anne
Erica gave us the confidence to leave Mookie for the afternoon so we could go enjoy a baseball game. He is with us 100% of the time so it was a big deal to have him with a sitter. Communication was excellent, as we received updates and pics throughout the day. Her place of residence was perfect for the pups. This was an all-around positive experience. We are grateful. Thanks Erica!

Kathryn was great with my dog Zeppelin. Zeppelin can be a little dramatic and anxious when being dropped off but Kathryn took him out for a walk to keep him busy and helped him settle in for his stay. She shared photos and was easy to communicate with, I'll definitely be rebooking with her for future stays!

Jessica was fantastic with my two beebs Finn and Otis!! She responded to my last minute request thankfully and during their stay she provided a good amount of photos. They seemed to be relaxed, comfy and enjoying their time. She even dropped them off to me after their visit. I would definitely recommend her. ☺️

Andy was great! He met us beaucoup early in the AM on a weekend to come and pick our puppy up from a hotel where we were catching a tour bus. He then sent copious videos for our perusal throughout the day, so we could see our puppers having as much fun as we were having on tour. Andy was very accommodating and communicative about both pickup and drop-off times too — highly recommend!
