“Rachael was able to take my pup last minute after another sitter cancelled on us. She was so great with our very energetic pup. Thank you so much for the time, care, and attention you provided to Harlan! Would definitely book again!”

“We love Maria, Kalyan and Nikko. They jumped right in to care for our 10,000 year old hound, Carol. She requires day care not just walks so they adjusted their schedule to get her super early in the morning and brought her home however late we wanted so she wasn't home alone too long. They sent updates and even let Carol ride in Nikko's side car when they walk Nikko. Nikko is also so good with Carol, who has zero energy most days. 10/10 recommended”

“Eric did a wonderful job taking care of my 4 month old puppy! He has a great system in place to ensure all dogs get what they need and that made me a lot more comfortable for Phoebe’s first time with a sitter. She had the most fun and I know would definitely love to go back! Highly recommend, thank you Eric!!”

“Our dog Midge loved spending the day with Kirsten and her dog Bear! Kirsten was very thorough with her meet and greet and listened to us explain all of Midge's little quirks. Midge was tired and happy after a long walk and romping around the yard with her doggie pals. You can tell Kirsten and her family are total dog people and will take care of your own doggo as if it were their own. We're planning to use Kirsten for more day care and overnight stays in the future!”

“Antonio and Joe were great with my pup. He had a great time under their care and got along with Yoshi as well. Will definitely recommend them.”

“Tamar was amazing! She took our pup last minute and was super flexible on drop off and pick up times. I really appreciated her following our feeding routine and her reassurance that our pup would be safe and cared for at her home. By the pictures and updates she sent my husband and I could tell that Lemon had the best time. Loved the laid back, thorough vibe of the property and our interactions. We will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Elle and her husband are phenomenal. Elle has been extremely accommodating to my schedule and I have no worries that my dog Dara will be treated kindly, exercised, socialized, and pampered as soon as I drop her off. I highly recommend Elle to anyone who is apprehensive about using rover. About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

About: I am a former dog-mom looking to host doggos in our home for a reminder of the joys of dog companionship without the long-term commitment. Our 80lb black lab died as an elderly pup a few years ago and it has taken some time for us to be ready to welcome another pup into our home. Our former dog, Maddie, struggled with dog-aggression, leash-reactivity, and general anxiety. I have A LOT of experience with clicker training and positive training methods for managing dog anxiety, stress, and aggression towards other dogs. I'm also experienced in watching for signs of dog stress around kiddos. I have been dog-sitting for friends since we lost our pup and am ready to open my home to the broader world of dogs in need of care. I currently work from home full-time. I transport my son to/from school which takes me out of the home for 40-90 minutes twice/day in the morning and afternoon M-F. I’m occasionally away from the house 4-6 hours on Sat/Sun when a dog is boarding with me— if this is an issue for your dog, please let me know ahead of time so I can plan for that. I have a fenced yard, a partner, and a 7 year old son. Our home would be appropriate for dogs who are comfortable with respectful older kids.

About: Hi there, I'm Ale, Your Pet's Dedicated Partner! With a deep love for animals and years of exprience, I'm here to care for all your furry friends 🐾plus, I have a fenced yard and a big catio that I’m pretty sure your pet will love it 😉 I work in a hybrid schedule, so it’s easy for me to accommodate my routine to fit my guest’s schedule. Whether I’m working from home or going into the office, I can plan my day to ensure they get the care and attention they need The way I care for pets depends on the service I offer and whether it's in my home or the owner's home. In my home, I provide a comfortable and safe environment with plenty of love and attention, regular feeding, exercise, and playtime tailored to the pet's needs. In the client's home, I follow their specific instructions for feeding, walking, and play, ensuring their pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar surroundings. Communication with the client is key to meet their pet's unique needs and preferences.

“Kyle has such a great personality and energy, he is a delight to chat with and is very kind. My pup is always SO pumped to see him and I know she is very well cared for. She comes home calm and content, which is the absolute best.”

About: Hello My name is Salman. Over the past 10+ years, I have gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and small reptiles. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, administering medication, cleaning enclosures, and providing companionship to ensure animals feel safe and comfortable. I have also assisted with grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming. In addition to working with individual pet owners, I volunteered at a local animal shelter where I supported staff in maintaining clean living spaces, observing animal behavior for signs of stress or illness, and helping with adoption events. These experiences have strengthened my sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and deepened my passion for animal welfare. Animals are my passion. Rest a sure you’re pet will definitely be safe with me :) I am home full time. I will have lots of time playing with your pet & showing them new tricks. They will love staying with me because they will have all my attention. I will make sure they are always at a place where I can see them. I will make sure to remove every object or things that shouldn’t be around the house. They are also allowed on my furniture. My house is also their house

“Jerry was thoughtful, communicative and did a great job caring for my dog! My dog is an escape artist and I felt comfortable leaving her in his care because he has a secure backyard, a double gate system by the front door, and was diligent about keeping her safe.”

“Heather has been such a great caregiver to my dog the past few weeks while I’m gone for long shifts at work. She’s been quick to respond and send updates through the app and even lovelier in person. Her two pups are so pleasant and made my dog feel at ease every time she stays for daycare. Highly recommend to anyone”

“Makaela did a great job caring for my senior husky. She had space to both rest and explore!”

About: I grew up with a basset hound, a beagel basset and 7 cats - the other half of me growing up I was on a farm with cows, goats, chickens and horses. I love all animals pretty much. Id like you to please choose me to take care for your animals. If they need to be let out or walked, me and your pup will go on adventures outside to where we find unless you have a specific place to take them. I won't double book, if I am pet sitting at your house I will give your animal all the company they need to feel comfortable. If you have anything specific you need taken care of with your pup I can help follow through with that.

Growlerz - Columbia CityLocal facility
“It’s so easy to write a glowing review for Growlerz Daycare. First it’s my dog’s favorite home away from home. I drop him off and he never looks back. The space is clean, well maintained with a staff that is friendly and experienced with many long-term team members. Most days you will also find one or both of the owners working to be sure your dog has a fun and safe experience. It’s more than just a daycare; it’s an awesome community for both pets and their humans.”

“My dog Nola absolutely loves PawsVIP! She comes home from daycare so sleepy and is always ready to go back the next day. Every single person that works there has been incredible and you can really tell how passionate they are about their job. I am so happy to have found somewhere that I know is taking great care of my dogs. Could not recommend them more!”

Joshua P.
“Josh is a dear friend of mine and has been a loving dog dad to his own sweet & smart pup. He did an impressive job training on basic obedience and recall, and he helped me train my own dog Archie (now 3yo) especially when he was a puppy. Josh is Archie's favorite man in the world!! Archie gets so excited to see Josh, he can barely contain himself🤣 Josh has taken care of Archie many times when I'm working a long day, taking a trip out of state, or even when he just wants a hiking companion on a sunny day. He's so caring with Archie, and conscientious w/meal/med/activity needs & schedules. Josh has also helped me through some challenging pet emergencies & vet visits with my dog and in the past when I had a kitty. He's calm & supportive in a pet emergency, and provides great care & love to pups in his life. Highly recommended Josh to anyone looking for someone to care for their furry friends 🦮🐾”

“I am a retired dog trainer (CPDT-KA). I have seen Sarah with her own dog (sadly passed) now, with my dogs, and with other dogs. I can highly recommend her. I would trust her with my dogs.”

“I have 4 beautiful cats. It’s a lot of fun but also a lot of responsibility. Specially because they don’t get along all the time. We called Alejandra to babysit them for a whole week because we had a trip to New York. She was wonderful. She checked on them regularly and took care of each particular need. One of them was baby and on a separate room. She did great with the different foods and also send us pictures and videos of the cats. One of our cats is really shy but even her got a liking for Alejandra. I highly recommend her as a sitter.”

“I can’t recommend Samira enough! From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely love and understand dogs. She took incredible care of my Zoey going above and beyond to make sure she was safe, happy, and comfortable while I was away. Zoey sent regular updates with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. My pup came back relaxed, well-exercised, and clearly well-loved. It’s rare to find someone so responsible, communicative, and kind—and with such a natural connection to animals. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for your furry family member, look no further. Zoey can’t wait for their next stay!”

“Heather is an amazing pet parent. She has a real passion for all creatures, and she's very intuitive and is great at responsibly taking care of their needs. She has two animals of her own, that are both very sweet and friendly. She's always treated my animals with kindness and gives lots and lots of attention to my needy pup. I've never seen her get angry or aggressive, even when her ferret has destroyed something, she's able to correct him without upsetting him. She's great at teaching, and has given me lots of good advice on training my dog. She's a sweetheart, through and through, and I promise you won't regret hiring her!”
