Hello, I’m Leah. My husband, Leio, and I are lifelong dog lovers! I grew up with a charismatic Shih Tzu and my partner was raised alongside playful Golden Retrievers. Soon after we met, we shared our home with a one-eyed Lhasa Apso who brought us lots of joy. While our two daughters were young, we took a break from having pets of our own. Now that our girls are older (10 and 5 years) we’re excited to welcome some furry friends back into our lives. We’d love to give your friend a reliable, safe, and loving home while you’re away.

We've known Leah and Leio for quite a few years now, and they’ve taken excellent care of our elderly Chihuahua. They are a lovely family of true dog lovers -kind, conscientious, pragmatic, and very trustworthy. They have been super flexible and open to our long list of dog care needs, and we really appreciate how patient they are with her and how they let her adjust and interact whenever she's ready. If there were ever a crisis or a medical emergency, we have no doubt that they would do whatever it takes to keep her safe and sound. That kind of peace of mind is so important when you have to leave your dog. We recommend Leio and Leah without any reservations. Your dog will be in great hands!
Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.
They were excellent hosts, clearly our lil guy had such a nice time with them, I’ll definitely reach out to them if I were in town again, and need someone to take care of Olaf! The entire family engaged with Olaf and kept him company, can’t recommend them enough!
I’ve known Leah and Leio for 15 years, and throughout this time they were phenomenal sitters for my dog Josie who certainly had her quirks -- big barker, complicated medication schedule, specific blanket preferences, and daily walks. Leah and Leio handled it all with ease, patience and attention, even while caring for a dog of their own. Whenever I traveled, I had complete peace of mind knowing my dog was in the most loving and capable hands. I always returned home to a happy and, yes, spoiled dog. I truly couldn’t recommend Leah and Leio more highly.

We both have jobs with hybrid work schedules so at least one of us will be home every day to keep your dog company. We only host one dog at a time (or two from the same family) so your pup will get a lot of our attention during walks, play, and chill time.

We live in a townhouse with a small fenced area out back, perfect for quick potty breaks or a little fresh air. Just outside our front door, we've got plenty of green space for exploring. For dogs who enjoy longer walks or runs, Chief Sealth Trail and John C. Little Park are a short walk away.

We’ll make sure your dog feels safe and cared for while they’re with us, and they’ll be part of our family during their stay. We understand that every dog is different, and we’ll meet yours where they are. For high-energy dogs, that might mean long walks on the Chief Sealth Trail, playtime in the green spaces and parks near our home, or a game of fetch. For more laid-back dogs, we’re all about getting cozy and relaxing together. Our 10- and 5-year-olds are gentle, animal-respecting kids who will be thrilled to spend time with your pet.
