I’ve recently started taking care of pets in my community after losing my lovely dog, Layla, to cancer. Doing so has been healing in ways that I could not have imagined!! I am so excited to continue this journey of love, support and healing. I will treat your pet as if they were my own.

Derek was so attentive and kind with Suki! She was a bit shy at first and had a few issues adjusting, but Derek was very understanding and made sure to cater to her needs so she felt comfortable and right at home. I left Suki with Derek for a week while I was out of the country, and it was the longest I’ve ever been away from her, but I felt completely reassured knowing she was in such good hands. He sent me daily pictures and videos of Suki which gave me so much peace of mind and was incredibly thoughtful. I will 100% be booking with him again whenever I need help and will definitely be recommending him to my friends as well!
Derek takes such good care of my pup! I have an opinionated husky girl. Because she doesn’t like to be left alone, I often lean on Derek to watch her. Yesterday they spent 3 hours outside and Aurora was happily exhausted when I picked her up.
Derek watched my doggy Biscuit again for almost two weeks and was seriously the best. He clearly loves Biscuit so much, and it makes me feel so at ease knowing my dog is happy and cared for. I trust him completely and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter 🥹

Derek was wonderful with my dog Aurora! He was very flexible with pickup/drop off and he took good care of my pup. I could tell she had a great time and felt very comfortable with him.

Schedule
I work in office during the week, but close enough to home to allow the pups restroom breaks throughout the day. And of course, spending the evenings playing and snuggling with the doggos. My weekends are free to spend all the time with them.

I follow the instructions form the caregiver and also listen to what each pet is telling me. I provide a calm yet playful attitude so that everyone feels comfortable.
A typical day
My neighborhood is filled with fun smells and activities for dogs to enjoy during our walks. And as an active person myself, I'll enjoy having a dog that likes to play!
