Cozy home with big fenced yard
I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 4 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates.

Jennifer was really great watching our energetic doggo for the first time over a long weekend. We were worried his energy level and tendency to instigate would be a problem for her + other dogs she might be watching, but she gave us regular updates and reassured us he was settling in well. We appreciate her positive energy and clear communication.

This was my first time leaving my Velcro dog with a sitter, and Jennifer did a fantastic job. She answered all my questions and asked a few of her own before. My dog stayed with her. Her questions made it very clear that she cared a great deal. She was especially careful for first day or so to send photos and give me updates. It was clear that my dog was comfortable there. I would happily use Jennifer as a dog sitter again.
Great rover experience - Jennifer helped me out on short notice and was very flexible with my schedule…and by the time I picked up my pup she was exhausted! All in all, a great option if you’re looking for a quality dog sitter.
Dusty’s first day at doggy daycare was a great experience! Jennifer did a wonderful job making him feel comfortable and introducing him to Junnie and the other dogs. He came home happy and completely himself. We’ll definitely be bringing Dusty back to Jennifer again!⭐️🐾
Jennifer is always so responsive and accommodating, Dani absolutely loves his time at her house every time!

Schedule
I work two to three days a week for no more than 4 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 6 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs.

My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night.

A typical day
Mornings are leisurely at my house. After breakfast we have our morning walk around the neighborhood. There’s lots of time for play in the yard, snuggles and belly rubs until I may head out to work at 1:00. Home by 5:00, dogs get a potty break and after dinner another walk around the neighborhood. Evenings are generally for snuggling on the sofa and and watching a little tv. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they’re most comfortable.
