“Tu was absolutely fantastic with my girl Reggie. After drop off she sent me an update to let me know how she was adjusting to a new place and throughout the day I got pics of my bestie having her new adventure. Would 100% book again!!”

“Evlyn was so wonderful with my dog Coco and we were lucky she was able to accept the booking despite a last-minute notice. She sent several photos throughout the day and was quick to respond both prior to and during the stay. Communicating with her was so easy and Coco seemed to have a good time with her and her dog Mikey. :) Thank you again Evlyn! We will be returning for sure. :)”

“Chris has been absolutely amazing. I just moved from across the country with one of my three dogs, and he has been having a hard time adjusting to apartment life (aka screaming his head off). After I got an email from my property manager after my first day of work I was frantically looking for a sitter for the next day. Chris was not only able to accommodate Casper the following day after my request, but also last minute on a weekend for an event I was hosting. I cannot thank Chris enough for his help and for putting up with some of Casper’s antics.”

“Rachael is the absolute best! Quick to respond and keep me updated on my doggo with pics. It’s my first time using Rover and she made the experience a great one. She came in as a lifesaver when i needed a super last min sitter. She took care of my Luna like it was her own. Super recommend ❤️”

“Lydia took Aggie in at last moment. Aggie is a shy dog but Lydia was able to get her comfortable in her. I loved the regular messages and video she kept sending us. Anytime we are in Seattle she will our go to person to care of Aggie. Thanks again Lydia.”

About: We have grown up with dogs and have one currently (who loves all other dogs). Live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced yard. Work from home so always home to take care of your dog. We are an active little family. Always going for walks & hanging out in the fenced backyard. Since we work from home, its perfect to fit in any amount of extra playtime or walks as needed. We have a fenced yard and quiet neighborhood. Since we have a dog, we always have toys and supplies around, but ask that you provide whatever will make them most comfortable!
About: Hello! I have been dog and cat sitting for at least 20 years and have several active clients in Seattle currently. I have previously worked for a dog walking and sitting business in Maryland. I have cared for puppies from 6 months through to senior, special needs pups. While no one enjoys it, I am comfortable giving pills, injections, and other medications to both cats and dogs. In my dog walking business I have walked up to four pups at the same time. I love to go on long walks, even in the rain and wind, and can throw a ball for hours! I will take care of your home and your pup with the utmost respect and love. I am a home owner with two kitties and a toddler. We are working on getting them all comfortable with dogs but for the time being we can only subject them to guests for 4 days in a row max (or they may never forgive us). While I haven't found the perfect pup for my life yet, I am very excited to be able to share my house with dogs of all ages for short stints while I'm searching. I work from home and can let pups out to go to the bathroom as needed. I love a lunch walk to get me ready for the afternoon. I have a fenced yard and a patch of grass for regular bathroom breaks. The staircase is gated so we’re always within eyeshot of any canine visitors.
“Maria is the absolute best! I had so much peace of mind knowing my dog Moose was in the best hands with her. She gave me frequent updates and pictures so I knew what they were up to. You can tell she truly wants your dog to be well loved and cared for. I am so thankful to have found her through Rover!”

About: I have cared for my own pug for over 13 years, so I understand the daily needs of dogs at different stages of life, including senior care. Our home environment is calm and comfortable, which works well for dogs that enjoy a relaxed setting. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so dogs staying with us receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. We also have a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. Because we have a gentle senior pug at home, we typically do best with dogs that are friendly and not extremely high energy. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable place where dogs can relax and feel cared for while their owners are away. Both my husband and I work from home most days, so we are around throughout the day to give dogs attention, regular potty breaks, and walks. This also means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods of time. Our schedule is generally flexible, and we are able to accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and walks throughout the day. Because we are home most of the time, we can keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. We provide a calm, safe home environment for dogs. Our house has a private rooftop area that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed, and we also take dogs out for regular walks. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for all sizes, from tiny Pugs to large Huskies! Back home in California, my family pets included a Pug/Bulldog mix, a Pekingese, and two energetic Huskies, so I know exactly how to handle different breeds, tempers, and energy levels. I've had all of my dogs since they were puppies and they've grown up with me, so I have experience taking care of both younger and more senior dogs. Since moving, I really miss having dogs around and would love to look after yours during my free time. I love going on long walks and will make sure your pet’s unique routine and needs are fully taken care of! I currently work remotely in tech, so aside from any daily meetings I have, my schedule is pretty flexible and I'm able to care for pets around the clock. I live in a three-story townhome with two roommates and our own fenced yard in a nice residential area with plenty of walking space. My home doesn’t have any hazardous or dangerous things for pets and I’ll ensure they’re safe at all times! If I'm taking care of a pet in someone else's home, I like to ask specific care instructions and what I'm allowed and not allowed to do since it varies from owner to owner. I'm very clean and will make sure to always keep the house tidy for myself and pets.
“Joesph was great to my pup Zeus. He took him on plenty of walks and even cleaned his paws afterwards! He also brushed him out, which I super appreciated. I loved the report card he filled out, very informative and lets me see how much fun Zeus is having through the day. I look forward to when he’s able to watch Zeus again.”

“They were excellent hosts, clearly our lil guy had such a nice time with them, I’ll definitely reach out to them if I were in town again, and need someone to take care of Olaf! The entire family engaged with Olaf and kept him company, can’t recommend them enough!”

“Stanley’s day with Eric might go down as one of his most favorite days ever! Eric accepted our booking last minute and exceeded our expectations! He provided the funniest updates with pictures all day to keep our minds at ease. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!”

About: Hey, we are Rachael and Daniel. We have had dogs our entire lives and have also volunteered at adoption events, fostered animals, and watch friends' dogs all the time - can't get enough! We have a sweet 8 year old Calico who gets along really well with dogs! We also recently rescued Luana from Hawaii about a year ago. Please note we are still getting Luana used to things, so a meet and greet is necessary for boarding. We love all animals from giant crazy puppies to shy senior citizens. If we are walking or watching your pet, you can trust they will gets tons of cuddles and attention, and you will get plenty of updates and pics : ) Rachael works from home for a software company, so we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet care, and we are happy to customize our schedules to whatever your pet needs. Also, we will donate half of your payment to local shelters as a way to pass it on. Can't wait to meet your pup or kitty! We are both currently working from home so have lots of flexibility when it comes to taking care of animals for walks and outside breaks and feeding. We are more than happy to customize our care to whatever your pet needs (e.g. leash reactive, medical needs, etc.) as every animal is different! For boarding, noting we do have our own sweet pup and cat who get along with most dogs, but we do require a meet and greet to make sure everyone will be happy and comfortable together.
About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
“We could tell Malawi had an amazing time! After the first day, he pretty much ran up the stairs - didn’t even turn around to say Goodbye to us. After we picked him up on his last day, he just laid around sighing to himself. He missed his new friends so much.”

The median cost per day for doggy day care in Beacon Hill is $45
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Beacon Hill
Jay & Gabrielle were incredibly responsive and flexible with both our drop-off and pick-up times. Crosby clearly had a wonderful stay. We felt completely at ease from the moment we met them and never worried for a second while he was in their care. We would happily book with them again and highly recommend them!

Chris took wonderful care of Enzo! Since Enzo is usually slow to warm up to new people, we were thrilled to see how comfortable he became with Chris. Chris kept us updated with texts and photos of Enzo exploring the house and enjoying walks around Seward Park, which gave us great peace of mind. Communication was excellent, and it was clear that Enzo was happy and well cared for. We’ll book with Chris again the next time we need a sitter!
They were excellent hosts, clearly our lil guy had such a nice time with them, I’ll definitely reach out to them if I were in town again, and need someone to take care of Olaf! The entire family engaged with Olaf and kept him company, can’t recommend them enough!
