“She was great! We have 3 big dogs and she knew how to interact with them, even our more difficult to handle one. She sent pictures and kept us up-to-date which was so nice.”

“Kris was an awesome caretaker for our two old cats, one of whom needs a lot of extra care. We got regular updates (including literally one of the cutest/funniest photos we've ever seen of our other cat), and would feel totally comfortable having Kris here again!”

“Stephanie did an amazing job taking care of our three pups while we were out of town. She provided updates every day when we were gone, and it was evident that our pups felt safe and secure with Stephanie. We came back to happy puppies which is exactly what we had hoped for! We will definitely rebook her for our next trip!”

About: I’m Roh - a doctor-in-training, who is really just on here to spend more time with dogs & cats! I've taken care of friends' & family's dogs my whole life on & off - sometimes dogsitting, at other times walks, feeding them, quick potty breaks, and playing with them to keep them entertained. I am always so happy to be around furry friends & cannot wait to meet yours! I know I’m new on here & you might be nervous about that; I’m happy to do an in-person meet & greet where we can meet in a public space, I can meet your dog, and we can make sure we all get along! NOTE: I know my current rates are under market average. This is a new client promo, available for the next 3 months, while I set up here! I work full time Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 (rarely 6pm), but I’m available during the rest of the time. I think of myself as a great affordable fit for people going on short vacations or work trips, or if you just want an easy night in. On weekdays I can stop by early in the morning around 6:30-7am for a drop-in or a quick walk, followed by a longer walk in the evening with some playtime. On weekends I can dedicate a lot of my time to your pet! I can do up to 3 walks a day, if they prefer that. I am a big believer in respecting your residence. When petsitting, I keep things clean & will do my utmost best to leave your place as you left it! With your pet, I always try to strive for a mix of engagement & letting them chill, depending on their mood.
“Mandy was an incredible in-home sitter for our 9.5-year-old labradoodle. She provided outstanding, detailed updates that brought us enormous peace of mind while we were away. Our dog is timid around new people and sensitive to any disruption due to a rough first few years of her life (before we adopted her) so we were very particular about finding someone who could make her feel comfortable. Mandy was amazing - she was thoughtful and deliberate about showing our dog love while also giving her time and space to warm up, and in less than a day, our dog was cuddling with Mandy and engaging with her playfully. And Mandy even left the house looking better than it did when we left. We feel very fortunate to have found Mandy and highly recommend her.”

“Taj is GREAT! She stayed with Kenny for a long weekend and I can tell he was happy and well cared for. The house was spotless too! She was super communicative and sent photos of him throughout the weekend. I will definitely hire Taj again!”

“was lucky enough to find Ally when a last-minute change of plans with another sitter left us scrambling before an upcoming trip. She took incredible care of my pups and made sure they were walked every day. I had total peace of mind knowing they were getting the love and attention I always hope for when I’m not home. Thank you Ally, I will be in need of your services soon enough!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover based in Seattle. I work a hybrid schedule and enjoy spending time at home, allowing me to provide attentive care and companionship during your dog’s stay. We’re fortunate to have several parks and green spaces nearby that are great for walks, exercise, and enrichment. I offer a calm, clean, smoke-free home and only host one dog (or one family of dogs) at a time. My partner and I have no children or resident pets, providing a quiet environment and plenty of individualized attention. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, and exercise needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is being well cared for. Meet-and-greets are encouraged before a first stay to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. I work a hybrid schedule and spend a good amount of time at home, especially on weekends when I offer boarding. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I enjoy incorporating walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. This allows me to provide attentive, individualized care and maintain a consistent routine for each pet. I provide a calm, clean home with no resident pets. We have air purifiers running and filtered water available at all times. I can administer oral medications and encourage meet-and-greets before first-time bookings.
“Talia took such good care of my old cat, Max. She sent me daily updates and pictures. She left our house tidy and clean. I could tell she cared about this gig, and I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Emily really seemed to love my cat, which made my trip so much better…I didn’t have to worry about him at all! I got lots of photo updates and she was very communicative. My cat was happy with Emily!”

“Just wanted to give Madison another shoutout for her flexibility in bookings and for taking good care of my fur babies while I travel - she’s the best! 🐾🐾”

“Sarah was fantastic and frequently sent me photos of my dog doing activities with her! This was my first time using Rover, and she helped make it a stress free experience. I came home to a very tidy house and I will be booking with her again in the future :)”

“Alyson was great! She was communicative, arrived on time, my dog warmed up to her right away, she kept me updated with photos, and all and all was very sweet and conscientious. Highly recommend and would love to book with her again!”

“Everything was wonderful! Elise went above and beyond cat/house sitting for us. Our house was spotless when we got home, making it much easier to crash after a long trip and not have to worry about anything. Lexi had plenty of lap time while we were gone, so well taken care of with plenty of snuggles!”

“Shaniece house sat for us while we were away for 5 days. She took care of our cat and our senior dog. Our dog warmed up to her immediately and even our shy and sometimes scared of strangers cat came out and played around her. She took excellent care of our apartment while we were away and sent update photos while we were gone. She followed all care instructions we left behind and texted when she had questions. She is kind, communicative, and responsible. We will definitely book her again when we need to go out of town with out our fur babies. You will not regret hiring her to look after your pets, I highly recommend her.”

About: I've loved animals from a young age, and have been around pets of all different species, temperaments, and needs for all my life. I have dog-walking and cat-sitting experience with neighborhood pets, and love the bonds I'm able to form with the animals I spend time with. I have extensive experience with anxious dogs as well as loud/vocal dogs. I am clear-headed and focused when it comes to pet care, and very patient with shy or unsure animals. Taking care of pets such as frogs, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well as dogs and cats has given me a lot of experience in observing animals to understand their needs, as well as emphasized the importance of proper research when caring for any animal. I'm a recent graduate in the midst of the job search, so I have plenty of time to give your pets all the care and affection they need! I am patient and affectionate with pets of all kinds. I am observant of animal behavior and always careful to ensure the comfort and safety of any animal I'm around by watching their body language and responding appropriately. I will always take the time to get to know an animal, no matter how long it takes, and give them all the attention or space they need to feel comfortable and happy.
“We always feel so relieved when Cassandra is available to watch our boys. They absolutely adore her, and it’s so obvious that she takes the time to give them both the special attention that both of their unique personalities need. Our home is always spotless and well cared for, and we can travel anywhere with peace of mind ♥️”
“Ellie helped me out tremendously when I contacted her just a half a week before I had to leave town for a work trip. She managed my 12 year old dog and 6mo. old large breed pup with grace and ease. I appreciated her daily check ins and pictures, and it was a relief to find someone trustworthy to stay in my home. Will definitely reach back out to Ellie with future booking requests!”

“Wilma was amazing with our pups! We had a party of three when she watched our dogs, she handled them well! Three big dogs can be a bit much, not a worry for her! Our youngest pup really struggles to warm up to new folks and she did a great job of working with so by the end of the stay he was following her commands and was trusting her. We had frequent updates on how the pups were doing and always felt in the loop! We will definitely use Wilma again!”

Keren took amazing care of our two cats and our dog while we were away. From day one, our dog absolutely loved her, and that says a lot because he doesn’t warm up to everyone so quickly. It was clear that she was good with him because he didn’t even seem to miss us! We would absolutely trust her with our pets again

Andy continues to be the best Rover ever. 1 week before a recent scheduled house sitting, my 12yo cat broke her leg and had surgery. Andy came for a pre-visit on their own time to get familiar with our new routine, including 5 medications, a modified litter box and “crate rest”. They took incredible care of Ava during my 2 nights away, sending regular updates. There is no one else I would’ve trusted with Ava so soon after a surgery. We are so lucky to have Andy in our lives!

Kim was so attentive! She sent photos and texts regularly (and at reasonable times despite our different time zones), walked our very active dogs as requested, and loved on them enough to notice a very small bump on one of our dogs that we got checked out once we got home. She left our house immaculate, which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. We’d absolutely hire her again!

From the moment Cynthia met our puppy, we knew she was the person we could completely trust with both our beloved pet and our home. She is kind, attentive, incredibly pet-focused, and clearly passionate about providing exceptional care. Cynthia devoted her daily routine to our furry girl, giving her the attention, exercise, affection, and gentle training she needed. We especially appreciated the wonderful photos, videos, and thoughtful daily updates that kept us connected while we were away. Our puppy can be a very finicky eater, but Cynthia patiently worked with her and was so attentive to her needs that she ended up finishing almost every meal—a remarkable accomplishment! It was obvious that our dog felt safe, loved, and happy in her care. We returned home to a content, well-cared-for puppy and a house that was immaculate! We couldn't be more delighted with Cynthia's professionalism, warmth, and dedication. She is truly exceptional. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets and your home as if they were her own, look no further. Nobody does it better!

Rebecca took great care of our dog Ruby for 5 days, including giving her periodic meds and following specific feeding instructions. When unexpected things came up like a power outage & later a thunderstorm that caused Ruby anxiety, Rebecca’s communication and attention to Ruby’s needs were excellent. The periodic updates (frequency coordinated in advanced) were equally great with pictures and clear communication. Overall 5 stars!
Elianna took incredible care of our dog and our home while we were gone for a long weekend! She kept us up to date and was a champ dealing with the chaos of us not having service/handling package etc. It’s been a challenge finding a reliable Rover sitter but SO thankful we found her. 💕 Pheebs is excited to see you again in a couple of weeks!
