“Melissa went above and beyond while caring for my dog and my home! From the start, she was communicative, responsible, and clearly loves what she does. She provided daily updates on Beacon’s behavior, along with plenty of adorable pictures that truly brightened my day. It was so reassuring to see all the fun adventures they had together. I could tell Beacon was in great hands, and my home was just as I left it—clean and well cared for. I will definitely be booking with Melissa again. Highly recommend!”

“Alex was the perfect weekend buddy for our two pitbull mixes. They showed up right on time for the meet and greet, and seemed happy and patient to be around the dogs. During the pet sitting, we received several updates and dog photos which we always appreciate. We came back to our home exactly how we had left it. We would definitely book Alex again, and would recommend them to others as well!”

“Brandy is awesome!! It was my first time using a Rover and Brandy made the experience so easy and great. Got lots of pictures of my dogs looking very happy and loved on. Will happily work with her again in the future. Thanks Brandy!”
“Leah thank you so much for watching Hazel and my home. Hazel was happy and healthy when I returned. I would recommend Leah to anyone looking for a reliable and considerate sitter!”

“Christina is a very nice and responsible dog sitter. Was on time and she loves dogs. She sat for us a few hours in the evening and Jimmie was a happy camper and at ease. Hope to see Christina again in the future.”

“Stuart took amazing care of my dog, Denali, while I was out of town. He was reliable, communicative, and clearly great with dogs. Denali loved him! I completely trust Stuart and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter.”

“She took amazing care of my cat Chico while we were away. He’s very spoiled and usually not friendly, but he became so comfortable and bonded with her right away. That says everything. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I will definitely rebook her—highly recommend!”

“Kayleigh is an amazing person and Rover! She was great with communication and pics and the dogs were very well cared for! She went above and beyond to help us out due to some weather related travel challenges. We feel so lucky to have had her stay with our dogs and can’t thank her enough!”

“Timothy was great! We found him communicative, punctual, and polite. We appreciated the pictures of our pets while we were away and his flexibility made our trip more relaxed. Thanks!”

“Hunter stayed with our 2 dogs for the first time and everything went great. They seemed a lot happier when we got back than they do when we pick them up from boarding. Would recommend Hunter and will use again.”

“I didn’t wanna leave a rave review because I don’t want Lisa to get so busy that I won’t be able to book her but I’m compelled. She was amazing! Took my dogs out three times for a walk during her housesitting visit. Great communication. Sent me a lot of pics. I know my dogs can’t wait for her to come over again. Highly, highly, recommended.”

“Run, don't walk to book with Tyler! We reserved an 11-day housesitting stay for our blind Pomeranian, Dax, and by the time we came home Dax was clearly disappointed that Tyler was going to leave. Tyler took him all over town on so many adventures, sent us a million updates, and made us 100% confident in the level of care and affection the li'l guy was getting while we were gone. Tyler also took great care of our home while we were away and took out the trash on the way out. There's no question he will be our go-to source for dog care in future and if he didn't so clearly deserve a rave review I'd be tempted to keep him all to ourselves! :)”

“Alijah took amazing care of my dog Bentley while I was away on an extended trip!! Sent pictures every single day as requested... which I am so grateful for. Not only to be able to see his condition, but also because the daily pictures of his cute face brought me so much joy while I was away. Apartment was spotless when I came home, and Alijah even took the initiative to wash towels and such so that they were clean and ready for me! Highly recommend this professional and responsible sitter! Thank you so much Alijah 🤗💕”

“Chris handled a very stressful situation with grace and compassion when my dog was hospitalized by another dog that got loose in the neighborhood - a repeat event unfortunately which was in no way his fault. He truly went above and beyond while I was out of the country during this incident and I cannot thank him enough for helping put my mind at ease as I frantically arranged travel to come home early. Even prior to that unfortunate turn, it was plain to see they got along famously, which is saying something for this very high energy, anxious animal. Highly recommended sitter.”

“John is the best! he takes great care of our elderly french bulldog who requires eye drops and meds twice a day and he gives our very special cat all the attention and love. He provides regular updates a photos and communicates well during his stay. Our home is always spotless when we return. Highly recommend!”

About: I currently have two high energy pitbulls of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling strong, active dogs and keeping them mentally and physically engaged. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with different temperaments, along with playful puppies or senior dogs. I treat every pet like my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine that you have set for your dog Since I’m currently between jobs, I have a flexible, open schedule and can dedicate my full attention to your pet. I’m available 7 days a week, mornings through evenings, making me a great option for last-minute bookings or dogs that need extra company and care throughout the day. Your pet’s safety is my number one priority. My home is fenced in and safe, and I’m here all day so your dog will never be left alone for long. I follow each owner’s routines closely, send regular photo updates, and will reach out immediately if anything comes up.
Highland Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Saba was wonderful with my dog. After our meet and greet, my dog was very happy to see her. She communicated very clearly before, during, and after her stay. My dog takes meds and has side effects from these meds, and Saba handled it all perfectly. Saba also left my apartment very clean. I would absolutely have Saba sit for me again, thank you Saba! :)

This was a quick overnight away as an experiment with how our cats would do. Wing Shan made it very successful. She sent pictures and communicated well. The cats seemed very relaxed upon our return -- which is the ideal goal. Thanks Wing Shan! ( The next experiment will be with our higher maintenance 4lb dog... 😅)

Melissa was fantastic with my boys and I really appreciated her communication. Charles is diabetic and she handled his BG testing and insulin shots wonderfully. Mancy demands a lot of TLC, and Melissa delivered. I came back to a clean home and healthy kitties — I already have another visit booked!

If we could leave a higher review we would - Nikolaj has house sat for us twice. Each time he was stellar with communication and pet sitting. What’s even more impressive is that our oldest dog, doesn’t give kisses to just anyone -the exception being Nikolaj, which means he has the “seal” of approval. Our house is always well looked after and we are confident in Nikolaj ability to watch our dogs!
