About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 4 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work two to three days a week for no more than 4 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 6 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night.

I have a terrier mix called Betty that I adopted 6 years ago during the pandemic. I work from home so she is very happy and gets lots attention and walks. While I don’t have any pets currently due to work constraints, have been dog sitting, boarding, and walking on my off-time for Wag!, friends and family for over 8 years now. I know the drill. About: I am a very engaged dog lover, growing up I have always been surrounded by dogs, they have helped me cope with anxiety and dogs are the most amazing gifts on the planet and I can't help but want to help people who need it. I am very attentive and willing to go the extra mile for you and your dog. I am really great at bonding with animals and understand what they need. I love going on jogs, walking, napping and long snuggles with dogs. “My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”
