It’s clear they had some fun dog park adventures too, and plenty of walks. We met at a neutral site so the dogs could meet before sharing a home. Dee Dee can be a little possessive of bones/toys, but Oliver was super chill and didn’t react when my pup was a jerk (he chilled out once he got to know Ollie better). I’m so glad I found Dani, her home seemed like a perfect fit for my baby to spend time while I was away. Highly recommended!!!”

About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 5 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work three days a week for no more than 5 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 5 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night.

All dogs have dedicated feeding stations and I'm happy to accommodate varying meal times and dietary needs. Animal CPR documentation is posted in the home, an emergency vet is less than a mile away, and I have reliable transportation should anything come up.

About: Since I was an infant, I've always lived in a house full of dogs. At age 11, I was gifted my best friend Jupiter (a sweet and loving Golden Retriever) and was taught how to be responsible for his care. Now (many years later), my sweet senior pooch Spot and I enjoy our time going for walks around the parks of Seattle or trekking into the mountains for awe-inspiring hikes. “Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

“This was our dog Maisy's second stay at Tamar's home. We enjoyed seeing the pictures of our dog playing with all of the other dogs. Drop-off and pick-up were easy as Tamar is very quick to respond to our text messages. Our Maisy came back healthy, happy, and tired from a week-long play session. “Dee Dee had an amazing time with Dani & Oliver! I had to go out of town for an extended time and am so glad I found Dani. Her place was great for pups, with lots of cozy spots and a yard to run in. Oliver was very sweet and very well behaved; it was clear from the many pictures and videos that Dani sent that they were best friends almost immediately. It’s clear they had some fun dog park adventures too, and plenty of walks. We met at a neutral site so the dogs could meet before sharing a home. Dee Dee can be a little possessive of bones/toys, but Oliver was super chill and didn’t react when my pup was a jerk (he chilled out once he got to know Ollie better). I’m so glad I found Dani, her home seemed like a perfect fit for my baby to spend time while I was away. Highly recommended!!!”

“I highly recommend Elle for all your dog sitting needs. She was warm, communicative, and most importantly, took great care of our two dogs. She seems to truly love and understand our dogs and is very patient and affectionate toward them. One of them is quite young (just over a year) and high energy and I felt confident that Elle would be able to manage him and make sure he got what he needed and he even made new pup friends while he was there, which is great for his socialization! Our other dog is older and much mellower and was on several medications, and Elle made sure he got them all when needed. I’ve worked with several dog sitters over the years both on and off Rover and I can say that Elle is one who I have great confidence in to handle any situation! Highly recommend!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”
