Our dog is timid around new people and sensitive to any disruption due to a rough first few years of her life (before we adopted her) so we were very particular about finding someone who could make her feel comfortable. “Cynthia was wonderful with our two dogs Miley & Douglas. She communicated well and gave us updates on the pups while we were away. Our house was left possibly cleaner than we left it. She left a summary/ update for us for when we arrived home that was really helpful. She even groomed our dogs while we were away, made them a few chicken and rice meals when they got upset stomachs, and offered to have some groceries ready for our baby (human) when we got home. About: I’m Roh - a doctor-in-training, who is really just on here to spend more time with dogs & cats! I've taken care of friends' & family's dogs my whole life on & off - sometimes dogsitting, at other times walks, feeding them, quick potty breaks, and playing with them to keep them entertained. I know I’m new on here & you might be nervous about that; I’m happy to do an in-person meet & greet where we can meet in a public space, I can meet your dog, and we can make sure we all get along! NOTE: I know my current rates are under market average. This is a new client promo, available for the next 3 months, while I set up here! I work full time Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 (rarely 6pm), but I’m available during the rest of the time. I think of myself as a great affordable fit for people going on short vacations or work trips, or if you just want an easy night in. On weekdays I can stop by early in the morning around 6:30-7am for a drop-in or a quick walk, followed by a longer walk in the evening with some playtime. On weekends I can dedicate a lot of my time to your pet! I can do up to 3 walks a day, if they prefer that. I am a big believer in respecting your residence. When petsitting, I keep things clean & will do my utmost best to leave your place as you left it! With your pet, I always try to strive for a mix of engagement & letting them chill, depending on their mood.

About: James and I started pet sitting and traveling in 2018, and it has been a fabulous adventure. We enjoy taking care of all animals. We love walking the dogs to get our steps in and cats with their uniqueness. We believe staying home with them until they get settled in is very important. We won’t leave them home alone, as they are happier when we’re around. Lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. We have lived in Seward Park since 2003 in a home with a fenced yard about a mile from the park. It is a great dog walking neighborhood. We enjoy puppies and senior dogs. We are also good medicine givers. Call or text us. We are a Retired married couple who throughly enjoy dogs/cats. We have been International pet sitters since 2018, and we have found that bonding is the most important thing about boarding a new animal. Creating a trust and being there with them so they don’t feel alone. Having fun activities to do that they enjoy is imperative. Many times it’s walking and “getting a smell” of their new environment. We have many popular walking neighborhood loops and Seward Park is always a hit. We enjoy them and they enjoy us. We make it a priority to listen to their individual language and gain their trust. Our home has screened windows and lots of light. We have safe hiding places, a comfy bed, and are home a lot, which they really like. Food is very important and we feed them as requested. We listen to what our pet owners have to say about their animals, as everyone is different. Please let us know anything else that makes them feel comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of a small senior dog, big energetic doodle, and a feisty Pomeranian mix. I am very patient and have been able to teach tricks before. I am currently working part-time but the shifts are short and few. This makes me very flexible for your needs. I am happy to accommodate a regular schedule if needed! I am constantly keeping an eye on the pet. If they seem like they need to use the bathroom, I will be paying attention. If they look like they want to play then I will be paying attention. I will keep them both healthy and entertained!

Shaniece watched my 90lb husky mix for 5 days. I have been pretty apprehensive to use Rover, however Shaniece’s genuine consideration and communication put me at ease. She was able to meet up a couple times prior to the stay and even arrived early to walk-through the house instructions. Shaniece was incredibly amicable to any requests and went above and beyond not only for my dog but also my home (extra walks, loading the washer with linens, etc). She respected my space and made returning home after travel seamless. Shaniece sincerely loves animals and I will definitely book her in the future.
We felt so comfortable leaving our beloved (and stressy) dog with Nancy while we were out of the country. She was excellent at communicating with us, attentive to issues with our house while we were gone, and even did some training with Stega! She really goes above and beyond. And when we came back, I could tell that Stega had a relaxing time and got lots of love. We love Nancy!

Dianna was hands down the best house sitter we’ve ever had. We needed someone to care for our husky, Lilo, while we were out of town for several days, and Dianna exceeded every expectation. She was incredibly attentive, reliable, and communicative throughout our trip. Every day, she sent detailed updates and plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing Lilo was happy, safe, and well cared for. When we got home, Lilo was excited to see us, but it was obvious she had formed a special bond with Dianna. In fact, we think she was a little disappointed it wasn’t Dianna walking through the door! This was a quick overnight away as an experiment with how our cats would do. Wing Shan made it very successful. She sent pictures and communicated well. The cats seemed very relaxed upon our return -- which is the ideal goal. Thanks Wing Shan! ( The next experiment will be with our higher maintenance 4lb dog... 😅)
Matthew took great care of my cat Nala and my home while I was away. He was very thorough on making sure he understood the instructions and wasn't afraid to ask questions where he needed clarification. Nala seemed to warm to him very quickly, and he was diligent in his care. He was even flexible enough to stay an extra night last minute when I had flight disruptions. I came home to a cleaner house than when I left and a safe, healthy kitty. Would book again.

This is the 2nd time Wendy has stayed at our house & taken care of our pitty, Spot. He’s an anxious guy with arthritis who loves to play and snuggle, but also know everything is safe. He warmed up to her so quickly and seemed to have had a really great time when we got home. She gives plenty of updates, followed all instructions, is super perceptive of pet needs and letting them determine pacing of things, and gives lots of loves and treats! While not required, our place was clean when we got home. Fully trust Wendy and will deff have her back! Oh and Spot looooved reiki!
Stephanie is so lovely and so thoughtful when it comes to taking care of our fur babies.
