About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I make it my mission to treat each one like family. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll provide the personalized attention and care they deserve. I’m extremely responsible and follow instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding schedules, specific walking routes, or administering medications. I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency, so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. Your dog’s happiness is my top priority, and I’m committed to making sure they feel secure and loved while you’re away. I currently work from home, which allows me to be flexible with my schedule. I’m generally available after 3:30 PM on weekdays and can accommodate requests during that time. On weekends, I have open availability and am happy to adjust to your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I provide a secure, attentive environment where your pet is never left unsupervised during visits or walks. I closely follow your care instructions—whether it’s leash preferences, feeding guidelines, or home routines—to ensure consistency and comfort. I’m also alert to any signs of stress or health issues and will always keep you informed. You can trust that your pet is in loving, responsible hands every step of the way.
“Mandy is great with my dogs! She was very patient and had good suggestions for meeting my dog who is reactive to strangers. Showed true care for my pup when I was away.”

About: I’m the person who stops mid-sidewalk to crouch down and say hello to every dog I come across! I was fortunate enough to grow up with dogs, but over time I’ve learned that loving them and understanding them are two very different things. Part of that comes from my sweet girl, Remy, an aussie/border collie mix who's been with me since she was ten weeks old. We are truly the best adventure duo. We're outside constantly: parks, forest walks, swimming, camping (but swimming is her favorite). She's extremely well trained, with a calm, shy demeanor and near perfect recall. I don't say this to brag (maybe a little) but to point out that even now, at ten years old, we’re still learning together. That process taught me that knowing a dog isn’t about affection alone. It’s about paying attention. I bring that same mindset to every one of my friend's and family's dogs that I care for. Each one has their own logic and their own way of moving through the world. Fisher, a golden, craves attention, so when she’s with me we build that into the day. She even has a standing date at a local cider spot. Oakley lives for the water, so that’s where we go. And then there are the subtleties, like how Fisher will dodge you if you walk toward her mid-play, but will come straight to you if you ask for a touch. These aren’t things you pick up from a guidebook. They come from watching closely and adjusting. My goal is always the same. Figure out what makes each dog feel safe, engaged, and understood, and meet them there. There’s almost always someone home. My partner works remotely full-time, and I work from home usually 3 days a week, so your dog gets real company instead of long stretches alone if we're boarding or doing a daycare scenario. Our days have a natural rhythm. Mornings and evenings are when we’re most active, with walks, longer play sessions, and time outside (unless it's the weekend). During the day, dogs can settle, move between spaces, or engage depending on what they need. I offer drop-ins, longer walks, extended play time like hikes, and boarding. I adjust based on each dog’s energy and routine. We live on the ground floor with a fully enclosed private patio (not a yard). Dogs can move freely between inside and out through a mesh door, and I’m often outside working in warmer months. It’s a calm, private, low-stress environment. I have a high-energy dog, so we are ALWAYS outside on walks, at the park, hiking etc. despite not having a proper yard. Remy is an easy housemate. She’s well-trained, focused, and usually more interested in her ball than new arrivals. She can be protective of her toys, which I manage proactively to keep things smooth, and I've never had issues with any other dogs. For boarding, I take dogs up to about 45 lbs to keep the space balanced. Walks and hikes are open to dogs of any size.
“Lee is the best! Super communicative and takes incredible pictures. My dog clearly adores her and it's great to know he's in great hands when I'm away from home.”

“Anais came over for a meet and greet and my puppy warmed right up to her. She's very friendly and asked thoughtful questions as we discussed what my dog needs during a walk (particularly how I'm working on his leash reactivity). Photos from their walk show a happy dog, and no doubt I'll be contacting Anais again. Thank you!”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and routine, so I take the time to make each walk or visit enjoyable, safe, and tailored to their needs. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely sniff walks, or simply needs companionship while you're away, I'm happy to provide patient, reliable care. I'm attentive to details, communicate regularly with pet parents, and always send updates and photos so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for. I'm comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic medications if needed, and caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments—including energetic puppies and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and gentle care. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and excited to see me again. As a creative business owner, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care throughout the day. I build my own work hours, which means I can easily fit in walks, drop in visits, and consistent care between projects while still giving each pet my full attention. Pet care is a wonderful balance to my creative work, it gets me outdoors, keeps me active, and gives me the opportunity to spend time with animals, something I genuinely enjoy. Because I manage my own schedule, I'm able to be dependable, communicative, and accommodate a variety of routines whenever possible. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or taking them on a walk, I'll follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I know that pets thrive on familiarity, so I pay attention to their feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications (if needed), and any special preferences or quirks. I always prioritize safe leash handling, secure entrances and exits, and awareness of our surroundings during walks. In your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I also believe communication is key. I'll keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is receiving attentive, loving, and reliable care while you're away.
“Siobhan is prompt, highly communicative, friendly and was great with my pup who can sometimes be a stubborn walker! Definitely recommend reaching out to her for your pet’s needs!”

About: Hi! I'm Maggie, I'm a Seattle based animal caregiver ✨ I care for a wide range of animals through my volunteer work at two local animal sanctuaries. I'm drawn to the animals that need a little extra patience, whether that's a shy rescue or an anxious baby who needs a calm, predictable routine to feel safe. My background is in operations management, which sounds unrelated, but it means I'm able to follow routines and notice if/when something's off. I communicate proactively so you're never left wondering how your pet is doing and I make sure to give each animal real, individual attention. 💖 I am flexible, prompt, and ready to take care of your furry friend. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! 🥰 Since I know no furry friend is the same, I follow each pet's existing routine as closely as possible. Before any stay or visit I make sure the space is secure and safe and I send regular photo updates so owners aren't left guessing. In my own home I maintain a calm, structured environment, and I apply that same energy in a client's space. I treat every home like it's my own and every pet like they're Ky.

About: I’ve always had an unusually strong connection with animals—especially shy or anxious ones. Dogs and cats that are nervous around others tend to warm up to me quickly, often surprising their owners. I grew up with four dogs and have experience reading behavior, giving space when needed, and building trust at the animal’s pace. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. I don’t have pets of my own right now, which means I can give your pet my full attention and treat them like they’re my own while you’re away. I’m currently working remote and part time, and I frequently walk around the Seward park and Columbia city neighborhoods for exercise. I have plenty of time and ability to fit pet care into my routine. I will be unable to host your pet, but when I am welcomed into a clients home I do my best to respect the peace and harmony of another’s space and I always strive to leave the home in the exact condition in which I found it.
“Mac was great with our high-energy, rambunctious pup. Mac was timely, communicated the right amount and our dog was excited to see him for his walks. Definitely recommend!”

“Jennifer is wonderful! She took our pup on walks and to the dog park when she sensed she needed some time to run around :) really appreciate her communicativeness!”

About: I bred black and chocolate labrador retrievers growing up in Seattle, and trained dogs until I was 15 years old. I started Rover when I lived in Tacoma during graduate school and really enjoyed the time I got to spend with all the dogs. I recently reactivated my account in 2026 since I have weekends and Tuesdays off and would love the opportunity to help you and your dog(s)! If you would like your dog to get outside for walks, run or swim, send me an message! Cheers!
“Wendy was great with Dakota! Wendy came over ahead of time to meet Dakota as she is nervous of strangers. Wendy was very patient with getting Dakota to trust her and was great at communicating.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Columbia City
Gabriel has been amazing with Murphy this week! He’s communicative and reliable. Murphy can sometimes be reactive or a little stubborn about walking, but Gabriel handled him so well and was very patient with him. I really appreciated the updates, photos, and extra care during the walks. As I’ve been working long days, I had a last-minute care request and really appreciated that he was able to accommodate it. It gave me peace of mind knowing Murphy was in good hands.
