“Nikki was so sweet and friendly to me and Muji. She communicated that they bumped into an unleashed dog during their walk and made sure Muji was safe through it all. Muji came home tired and ready for a nap. Will definitely rebook Nikki if I get another chance!”

“Her partner helped to carry shadow down our plank stairs as shadow is unable to go use them without chancing injury. Her and her partner are both store nice and shadow came back tired - all I could ask for!”

“Anaish was amazing and so kind to my dog! There’s definitely a reason for so many five star reviews. Couldn’t thank her enough for all the help. We will be repeat customers for sure.”

About: I have two rescue dogs Jasper and Phaedra. They are both terrier mixes and are both ~20lbs. Before I tell you about how they are now, let me tell you about them when we first rescued them. Jasper had a history of abuse and was quite aggressive with new people coming to the house. We worked carefully with a trainer and greatly improved his apprehension towards strangers. He's very good with other dogs. When we rescued Phaedra, her nickname was Bumpy due to the sever dermatitis she was suffering from. I spent a lot of time applying medicated shampoo, administering oral medicines, and conducted an elimination diet to pin point her food allergies. She is a sweetheart with so much love to give. I've had Jasper for 11 years and he is a very healthy 13yo dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is very playful We have had Phaedra for 8 years and she is very healthy but we do manage a few prescriptions for some of her chronic conditions. I'll be home on a regular basis when caring for your dog. I have a futon in the room I'm usually in that the dogs can hang out on while I am in my room. But they will also have free roam of the rest of the house. In addition, there is a fully fenced backyard with a dog door. You doggo will also have free access to the secured gated yard I have a lot of love and patience for dogs. I will follow your care instructions to the letter. Your dog will be part of our pack, and receive affection from myself, Jasper, and Phaedra. In case of emergencies: I am a two minute walk from my veterinary office (Four Paws) and a 25 minute drive to Blue Pearl's 24 hour care center. But let's please discuss if you have another care provider you want me to use in case of emergency I'm happy to discuss any special requests I work from home and will be home most of if not all of the day. If I leave the house, it will be for 2 hours at most. In my home your dog is part of the pack. They will receive scratches, get playtime, and have access to a securely fenced and locked backyard. Your dog will be under my constant supervision, if i haven't seen them in a bit I'll be off to see what they're up to. If I leave the house, I usually like to crate or contain in a room w/bed for safety.
“Maggie was our first official Rover experience, and she was absolutely fantastic. Coco was well taken care of for the week, and all communication from the first point of contact to the M&G to the detailed walk reports each day (with several photos each time) offered peace of mind while I was away on a work trip. Maggie was professional, communicative, and gave thoughtful attention to the specific needs and personality quirks of Coco. I highly recommend her, and would happily book Maggie again when the need arises.”

“Mik is so communicative and lovely. Their professionalism and confidence with all types of dogs makes them a perfect fit for us! Thank you so much for caring for our boy!”

“Mandy really gave me a sense of peace and security while I was away on vacation as she took excellent care of my dog on lunchtime walks and gave great reports. She was always considerate and responsive, and I will absolutely be using her services again in the future!”

I’m educated in pet nutrition, comfortable administering medication (iv fluids, syrups, pills, topical), and willing to provide training for puppies or adults who need it. I’ll give you lots of updates and give your babies lots of love during our time together! I started volunteer work at a pet shop/boarding facility when I was 12 and stayed there for just under 6 years and went on to work at a small business homeopathic pet nutrition and supply shop. As well as sitting and caring for pets of friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10. No matter what your pet throws at me, I’ll love them like they are my own! Currently I’m working part time with a varied schedule that changes weekly. Message me to see if my current availability will work for you! I can take on whatever size pet you’ve got! If you have plants, I can take on a watering schedule as well. :) I’m also passionate about caring for chickens, reptiles, fish, small animals etc. Whatever you’ve got, I’ll give them love.
“Mac was lovely to work with. He came by for a quick meet and greet and our dog immediately loved him. We got daily updates with pictures on all the walks. We will definitely use him again!”

About: Hello, my name is William “Morgan” and I live and work from home in south Seattle in the Brighton neighborhood of Rainier Valley. Taking care of animals is a passion of mine and it is such a reward knowing that they are well looked after. I know the struggle to find help for your loved ones is stressful and having peace of mind is priceless. I am dedicated to providing exceptional care for you and your pet. My specialty is in dog care, but if my schedule permits, I am happy to care for most other critters. At my home, guests will have a joyous and relaxing time with plenty of room to play while having a comfortable quiet space when they are ready to relax. The backyard is spacious and well fenced. For those escape artists and wild ones, no pet will ever be left outside unattended. My close proximity to parks in a quiet neighborhood makes it easy to pop out and enjoy a stroll. If we want to get a little more adventurous, lake Washington is just down the road with Seward Park being a few minutes away. Every dog requires different levels of engagement and attention. Any schedule, command and training will be reinforced to ensure your dog maintains consistency. My home will not be free for all where bad habits flourish. Your dog will thrive in this structured environment where their needs will be met and rewards will be earned! Sometimes people need more than a friendly place for their pet to visit and they might require a more delicate approach to the care provided. Whether your dog is overcoming anxiety or healing from an injury, looking after any special needs is done with absolute confidence and finesse. I have great experience caring for pets with all types of ailments and in all stages of recovery. I have rehabilitated many pets who required the extra care that is not easily found in a typical sitter. Their health and recovery will be top priority in my home. When receiving a daycare or sitting request, I do everything possible to make myself available. I genuinely have a hard time saying, “no” and if I am unavailable, it is because I am providing exceptional care for those who are booked. Rest assured that if I book your request, your loved one will be treated with the same level of attention and care. I consider it an honor to have the opportunity to be of service for you and your pets. Thank you! I am lucky enough to be doing this full time so your pets can have the best experience! Rest assured that your loved ones are my first priority! My home is a great place for your pet to explore, play and relax. We enjoy having a spacious house with a decent sized fenced backyard. We have our walks in a peaceful quiet neighborhood that can be as easy or as challenging of an exercise as we like.
About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home dog lover offering doggy daycare in a home with a fenced backyard and a playful Golden Retriever. Your pup will get lots of attention, outdoor breaks, and playtime throughout the day. My three year old golden retriever, Almond, is very hyper, friendly, and always excited to meet new dogs, so daycare is best for pups who enjoy socializing and playing with others. What your dog’s day looks like • Morning introductions and playtime • Backyard potty breaks and fresh air throughout the day • Toys and enrichment activities • Afternoon naps and relaxation time • Lots of supervision since I work from home I also send photo and video updates so you can see how your dog’s day is going. My experience Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs, and I treat every pup like part of the family. My goal is to make daycare feel like a comfortable home away from home. Meet & greet I’m happy to set up a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone! 🐾 Looking forward to meeting your pup! I work fully remote Monday–Friday, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give dogs plenty of supervision, attention, and playtime. Dogs can go outside to the fenced backyard for potty breaks and fresh air whenever they need. Because I’m home most of the day, daycare fits naturally into my routine and I’m able to keep a close eye on all the dogs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I keep daycare small (just one other dog) so every dog gets plenty of attention. My home has a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and dogs are always supervised during play. If dogs need space to rest, there are cozy spots inside where they can relax.
About: Hi! I'm Maggie, I'm a Seattle based animal caregiver ✨ I care for a wide range of animals through my volunteer work at two local animal sanctuaries. I'm drawn to the animals that need a little extra patience, whether that's a shy rescue or an anxious baby who needs a calm, predictable routine to feel safe. My background is in operations management, which sounds unrelated, but it means I'm able to follow routines and notice if/when something's off. I communicate proactively so you're never left wondering how your pet is doing and I make sure to give each animal real, individual attention. 💖 I work full time in person Tuesday-Saturday and occasionally I volunteer in my downtime. I'm happy to be flexible if my availability isn't within your needs, don't hesitate to reach out! 🥰 Since I know no furry friend is the same, I follow each pet's existing routine as closely as possible. Before any stay or visit I make sure the space is secure and safe and I send regular photo updates so owners aren't left guessing. In my own home I maintain a calm, structured environment, and I apply that same energy in a client's space. I treat every home like it's my own and every pet like they're Ky.

“Andre has shown he is reliable when it comes down to taking care of my pup. He shows up on time, sends me a lot of photos and keeps me updated. I always feel comfortable when my puppy is in Andre’s care!”

About: I have taken care of my friends dogs and I had own some of my own when I was younger. I also have taken care of my friends cat as well as have my own cat at my families home. Im aware of all the needs a pet needs! I dont have a set schedule, so I can always move things around to be flexible for your pet when needed. Your pets deserve the best care at the best time! I make sure to show love, comfort, and lots of pets/playing time. Also set times for food/poopy time, thats very important. I also follow any needs/rules my friends/clients need! Its as simple as that!
“Can’t decide which Rover sitter to care for your pup? Don’t deal with internal quarrel. Just call Laurel! Really though. She’s top notch. I feel at ease knowing my little guy is in good hands with her. She took great interest in my dogs individual needs and went above and beyond to make him happy and comfortable. My only concern is that I may not be my dogs favorite human anymore. But in this instance that’s a problem I’m happy to have. 10/10 recommend.”

Brighton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nancy is great! She is clearly very good with dogs, and I appreciate that she has experience with handling large, leash-reactive dogs. She was very flexible when I requested a last minute walk and even squeezed in a meet and greet to make sure my dog recognized her and felt comfortable. She was communicative and shared pictures and an update on how the walk went. I recommend her and would definitely hire again. Thanks!

From the beginning Coburn was very communicative and pleasant to work with. He listened to our instructions,, gave us some constructive input, and was very accommodating. The pups loved the hour long walk around the neighborhood., Coburn provided an update and a great picture during their walk. I would definitely recommend his services.
