About: Recently retired and petless at the moment, although I have almost always had a dog. I enjoy getting to know the personalities and needs of dogs and participating in their daily care needs, whether walking for exercise or potty breaks, socializing at home or the park, or ensuring they are fed and cared for when you aren’t available. I live in Belltown, so I’m available in adjacent neighborhoods of LQA, SLU, or downtown areas. Recently retired so finding ways to contribute after my career in education and academic administration. I’m active and in my late 50s with a flexible schedule. Happy to chat or negotiate for ongoing clients. I am committed to protecting, caring for, and understanding your pet and I value being entrusted with the care of this member of your family.
About: With 11 years of pet care experience, I provide dependable, compassionate care tailored to each pet's unique needs and routine. As a special education teacher, I'm patient, responsible, and highly attentive to detail, making it easy to follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and medication instructions when needed. I enjoy spending quality time with pets through walks, playtime, and plenty of affection while ensuring they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring and reliable hands. I’m available after 4 PM when I get off work and no later than 6 PM on weekdays during the school year. However, I’m much more flexible right now since I’m on summer break and available with a wider range of scheduling options until September 2. I’m also flexible on weekends with planned notice and am happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that works best for their needs. I primarily care for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and any special care requirements. I treat every home with respect, prioritize your pet's safety and well-being, and provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident they're in good hands while you're away.
“Megan was great! We needed a last minute walk for Cooper and she was able to accommodate. Megan was kind, punctual, and Cooper seemed to warm right up to her! Will definitely be asking her for more walks in the future!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and grew up around dogs of all sizes. I helped care for and train my parents 2 dogs and I have experience assisting with taking care of previous roommates dogs. I currently pet sit for friends and family when they are out of town. I’m free mornings and afternoons on weekdays (can be available in the evenings if needed) and have flexible availability on weekends for pet care. I can care for your pet in your home by taking them out for bathroom breaks, taking them out of walks, playing with toys, feeding them on schedule, administering any medications, and offering lots of pets!
“Ana is really reliable! She’s a great communicator and provides lots of information for the walks and our sweet dog. Highly recommend her! And so glad we have found her.!”

“Eleanor was wonderful. She always gave my dog a really good walk and took excellent care of her. And my dog adores her - always a good thing. We would definitely use her again.”

“Ori is so kind and patient with our very timid King Charles cavalier. She is a total homebody, but he convinces her to continue walks, so she still gets some exercise.”

“A wonderful first meet and greet with Kathy. She took our pups for a walk to get to know them and they came back very happy. Great communication and I look forward to working with Kathy in the future.”

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a young kid! I got my first dog when I moved to Vancouver from Toronto 4 years ago. I’m now in Seattle full time. Walking my dog is the highlight of my day, even after working long shifts where I’m on my feet all day. I’ve also made so many friends in the neighbourhood by walking my dog. I’ve walked my friends’ dogs previously, and they all recommended I start doing it on the side professionally. Hope to meet more people and make new furry friends along the way! I’m a nurse working between 8-12 hr shifts. My availability is sporadic, so I’ll try to keep my availability here updated. I have a car so I can drive to your place easily. I have some weekend availability depending on work. I live close to the Space Needle/Seattle Center and Elliott Bay Trail, so I take my dog there frequently for walks. I play fetch with my dog in Kinnear Park in the tennis courts because it’s fenced off. Personally I’m not a fan of dog parks so I don’t take my dog there but I’m happy to take your beautiful pooch there if they enjoy it. If you are open to my dog playing with your fur baby I’m happy to bring her along on walks or play dates.

“Shaina went above and beyond on her walk with Maxi. She took him to a nearby park and he looks like he had so much fun!! Very thankful also for her accommodation to my last minute bookings :)”

“We really appreciate heather taking it nice and slow with our shelter pup Alfie. He has reactivity issues so we are nervous for him to be handled by someone else, but Heather is very knowledgeable about dogs and made us feel at ease. We’ve gotten so many great tips from her already and have seen such great improvement with his behavior already!”

“Ponyo was amazing!!!! Saved my life going last minute to help me with my fur baby. She was sweet and attentive, bear even got excited to see her upon arrival. 10/10 would recommend and plan on hopefully having her see Bear again soon.”

About: Hi, I'm KJ! My friends and family will tell you I am a certified Dog Mom 4 Life. I have lived in Seattle for 3 years now, and my favorite thing to do is walk my dog, Odie. We wander all around the city and to every park we can find. He is a 2-year-old rescue chiweenie who loves to spend time with other dogs. I've learned a lot about dog behavior and training from the dogs I've rescued. I've had a labradoodle, a Brussels Griffon mix, some shih tzus, a terrier mix, and now my chiweenie. I have experience with dogs of all ages (I have a special place in my heart for lil' senior pups). I've worked with reactive dogs who struggle to walk on a leash, which has taught me a lot of patience and improved my training skills. I know what it is like to need a helping hand, especially with fur babies. I would love to work with a variety of clients. Whether you need a consistent mid-day walker so you don't have to worry about long work days, or someone to check in on your fur baby when unexpected burdens arise, I am your gal! I do prefer working with dogs on the smaller side, for their safety and comfort. Any questions? Feel free to ask! :) I have a fairly open, flexible schedule. I'm more than happy to schedule day-of drop-ins, but I am currently taking public transit to get around, so please keep that in mind. I would love to schedule some consistent clients to provide a good mid-day walk to give your pup a break. Hopefully Odie can join us! Odie and I live in a studio apartment inside a building, so even if he bolts out the door, he can't get very far. I also keep up a baby gate to provide an extra barrier between him and the door. I have cameras to monitor the dogs if I do have to leave for a bit. They typically have free range of the studio area during the day. I keep the bathroom door closed, and I've "baby-proofed" the entire room for my small dogs. I feel comfortable crating or fencing in dogs if necessary.

I’m especially available for morning, and midday walks or check-ins during the week and weekends. Since I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love having dedicated time to focus on yours. Whether you need a consistent weekly schedule or occasional help, I’m happy to work with you to find the right fit. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I always follow your instructions closely; whether it's feeding schedules, medication, or favorite walking routes and make sure your pet feels safe, calm, and cared for while you're away. I’m attentive to body language and behavior, and I give pets plenty of space and comfort when they need it. I’ll also keep you updated with regular checkins and photos so you always know how your fur baby is doing. If walking, I always use secure leashes, avoid risky situations, and tailor the pace and route to your dog’s energy and needs. Your pet’s safety and happiness come first, every time.
“Deven was amazing! My dog with a bit of a stranger danger complex bonded to him right away. He was super responsive and genuinely interested in getting to know my dog to better walk with her. Highly recommend.”

“Melissa has been a wonderful walker for my dog! She treats him just like her own pets and also points out to me if he has any issues I need to pay attention to. We have really enjoyed Melissa as a regular walker.”

About: I have been around animals since I was in diapers, and pet sitting since I can remember. First for family, then for friends. I have experiences with large dogs (my aunt has two mastiffs), smaller dogs, cats of all shapes and sizes, and even the occasional reptile. I enjoy the playtime and companionship just as much as my furry friends. I am working full-time, transitioning to a lighter work load in the next few months. That being said, I usually have flexibility during the day for a mid-day walk and I always have time in the early morning and early evening. I also spend a lot of time in the city so I can usually be booked during weekends as well. I do not have any pets so I have a perfect home to give your pet undivided attention. No yard but I live a block from Central Park so lots of fun awaits us just around the corner.

“Sean has walked our puppy a few times and she comes home happy and exhausted each time. This is a huge win as she is a high-energy girl. Sean has always been prompt and kind, even helping us out in a last minute pinch. Highly recommend!”

Tiger handled our dog wonderfully! We have a very energetic, large dog and Tiger came in and immediately bonded with him and handled him well.
