I’d love to welcome your dog for some added company and make sure they feel comfortable, engaged, and well cared for while you’re away. I live in a one-bedroom apartment in a pet-friendly building with an elevator. The apartment includes a balcony for fresh air and is suitable for dogs of all ages, including seniors. Pets are allowed on furniture and beds and have access to toys and comfortable resting areas.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs small and big. They feel like best friends to me and i genuinely love them so much. Seeing a dog can make my day and I would love to care for them! I’m currently working part time to pay for school which can be alot! i have free days where i sit around or do homework and being able to play and take care of a dog or go on a walk would be helping someone else but also my mental health! I don’t have a fenced yard but it’s closed off! i have a big living space with nothing fragile around. my house is always a quite and calm space with many parks near by

About: I volunteered at an animal shelter from ages 10-15, walking many dogs and playing with many cats. I also petsat over 13 clients in my neighborhood as a young teen, visiting homes, giving medicine, and walking dogs. One of the dogs was an 11yr-old chocolate lab who I gave special senior treatment to. As an adult, I have stayed at my friend’s homes with their dogs or cats, picked up dogs from daycare, and walked my roommate’s dog. I also have my own kitty, a grey tuxedo named Zinnia who loves to play and snuggle. I also helped my roommate train their big puppy. I would love to give your pet the attention & care they deserve! I’m a freelancer and build my own schedule, which means I can easily provide care whenever you need it most. I have my own car for reliable transportation any time of day. I interacted with many different dog personalities over my time as a shelter volunteer and in adult life. I know how to gently walk a dog, pausing if they pull and coaxing if they lay down. I read body language easily and help pets to feel as comfortable as possible around me. I do not force interaction with pets, but allow them to come to me. However I do love to play with animals and am happy to play fetch or shine a laser pointer for as long as it entertains the pet.

About: Hello there! I have a 4.5 year-old corgi - Chase! I got Chase when he was a 2 month old puppy, and we've been living a very happy life together since then. Chase makes me know how amazing, genuine and loving dogs are, and spending time with them is truly relaxing and enjoyable! Luckily my work is nearly fully remote, which allows me to spend more time with him. We normally go out 3-4 times per day and will play in the park if weather is nice. When we are at home, we play toys together and also cuddle together while watching TV:) I think dogs are our family members and I believe your dog will have fun here with me and Chase! My job is remote most of time, which makes it very flexible to take care of the dogs. Usually I take my dog out 3-4 times per day to potty and walk. We will also go to the park if weather is nice. When we are at home, I normally take couple of breaks to play with them as well. I live in a apartment and it's very safe. I have a corgi and he is very friendly and playful. I have a crate if it's needed.

About: I have been around animals my entire life because of my big family, and have an approach to pet care that’s deeply empathetic and personal, and am willing to dedicate my time and energy to your animals personal needs. I have experience watching large dogs for extended periods of time, mediating conflict, and providing care for dogs with anxiety, diet, and behavioral issues. I have cared for senior dogs with health issues, and have owned cats personally my whole life. With that, I’ve gained a lot of experience when it comes to handling many probable feline scenarios that may arise. I am eager to gain more experience and be surrounded by animals as much as possible with my journey on rover!! I’m currently employed part time, but am looking to prioritize time spent with doggos or kitties in need of time and care! As it stands, I get my schedule weekly, but I’m very flexible. I’m free for boarding anytime past 7pm, and dog walking anytime Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. I have an apartment with a private yard that’s secluded in Wallingford, but it’s not technically fully fenced, so your fur baby will always be accompanied by me. I have an attentive approach to dog care, aiming to enrich your pets life with long walks, and accompanied time both outside and inside. I can crate your dog if needed.

About: I have 2 years of personal experience at a kitten shelter where I rescued my own adult cat. I’ve cared for family and friends animals. I work from 8:15 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 pm Thursdsy to Friday. I get all holidays off, please feel free to contact me to book during that time if needed. Advanced notice is appreciated, but not required. I would like to treat the pet similar to how the family treats them. I respect the caregivers methods and routines. I love both cats, dogs, and I’m open to watching other types of pets as well. I understand the importance of going outside, playing, affection, and daily walks.
