About: I've grown up taking care of family, friends, and neighbor's dogs of all sizes, responsible for walking, feeding, cleaning, and the general wellbeing of the dog. I also have experience with less-trained dogs, recently being responsible for rescuing, feeding, cleaning, and housing a stray dog. I am currently a student at the University of Washington and a rugby player, but I have a good amount of free time on weekdays and weekends to spend with your dogs! I am available all day Friday and Sunday, with varying availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday (please reach out for specific details!). My home is currently unavailable to host your pets, but I am careful to play with the pets in appropriate environments (situational based on home and yard space, surrounding area, owner comfort), and feed, walk, and clean them, along with any other responsibilities I am tasked with. I can easily handle changing schedules and situations as they arise, making sure you and your pet are comfortable and satisfied with your experience.

About: All proceeds from my services will be donated to the Seattle Humane and the Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc. I work from home. So if your dog loves jumping on conference calls and busting out slide decks, he or she is in a treat. But we will for sure take a few breaks, go for a run by the lake or a visit to the coffee shop. Of course, if it rains, we will be glued to Planet Earth. On the weekends, your pal will most likely succumb to my obsession with the outdoors. We will be hiking, camping, and take a road trip to somewhere nice and scenic. A little bit about me as a sitter: Our furriends always wittingly test the new guy. We will communicate beforehand so I won't be taken as a sucker. I am very mindful about bad habits, so you can trust me with your invested training. I am also very cautious on walks, so your pup won't pick up things he or she should not have in their mouth. Having had dealt with long stints of medical issues with my best friend, I am also practiced with feeding medicines and caring for our healing canine friends. Last, I love big dogs and I cannot lie. Having a fur boss it's a good way to make sure I'm not overly consumed with my desk job. Your dog will share the modern amenities of a two-bedroom one-bath apartment in the heart of Ballard. I wipe down the paws when returning from an outing.

About: What sets me apart is the patience and attention I bring to each pet, especially those who need a little extra understanding. My senior dog, Stella, was very reactive around other dogs and needed a thoughtful approach to walks, leash training, and being comfortable in new situations. Working with her taught me how important it is to pay attention to a dog’s body language, recognize their triggers, and build trust at their pace rather than forcing interactions. I’m comfortable caring for most dogs but especially senior dogs, dogs with unique routines, and/or those who may be nervous, shy, reactive, or need extra patience. I take the time to learn what works for each dog and follow your instructions closely. Whether that means a quiet walk at a less busy time, extra enrichment at home, or simply giving a nervous pup space to come to me. I am also more than happy to work on any training/commands with your dog! I am currently taking some time away from the corporate world so I am very flexible and available for any and all of your pet care needs. I’ve always loved having animals around and currently have two cats of my own. I’ve also had a home with two cats and a dog. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and the occasional bit of chaos that comes with sharing your life with pets and the pets themselves sharing their space with each other. Every pet is an individual and I like to learn their normal routine, quirks, and what makes them feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow your usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines so your pet has as much consistency as possible while you’re away. I want your pet to be cared for and comfortable while in my care. I’m attentive to their boundaries and personality, whether they’re a social butterfly who wants constant attention, an energetic pup who needs lots of exercise, or a shy cat who needs some time to warm up. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in trustworthy hands.

About: I’ve had pets in the house since I was born, I love animals and have been trusted to walk, and house sit for many people in my neighborhood. I love all cats and dogs and would love to work with yours. I am currently a college student at Pomona College. I am very much a morning person and most of my classes start around 10am. This leaves plenty of time in the morning for animal visits. Additionally, all my classes are over by 4pm. In my home we are very careful of our pets safety and I would love to do the same for yours. I always make sure my pets are well exercised and I understand how important that is to a dog and their family.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember and can’t imagine life without them! I dog sat throughout high school and am looking to continue during my college career. I love all kinds of dogs and really miss mine from home—I’m hoping to get some dog time in while I’m going to school away from home. I’m currently going to school at the University of Washington studying environmental science, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your dogs! I am in a sorority and don’t currently have a job. I am willing and able to follow any instructions for how you want your pet to be cared for. About: I grew up with a Golden Retriever during my childhood and have loved dogs ever since. After I graduated from college I lived with a roommate and took care of their Shiba Inu / Husky mix for up to a week at a time when they traveled for work. I walked, fed, and bathed the dog for almost a year. For the past three years I routinely dog-sit and house-sit for a family and their two dogs - one large and one small. I have loved the experience and grown very comfortable with all aspects of caring for a dog. I am in grad school for my PhD and have classes and meetings virtually. Otherwise, I am flexible to set my own schedule to prioritize pet care. I am very trustworthy and reliable and will follow any directions you have for caring for your dog in my apartment or your home. I have a car and am able to travel for dog-sitting and house-sitting.
