“Jessica is amazing! She sent TONS of high quality photos of our dog every day. We can tell she took great care of him and he had an awesome time. We would definitely recommend her and plan on boarding our dog with her again!”

“Devan was excellent with Pepper, and was extremely meticulous in his communication. We received constant text and photo updates during his stay and that’s one of the most important qualities when caring for a pet.”

“Lauren and Kelvyn were amazing! Our pup is usually nervous and upset about boarding with a sitter, but they sent tons of pictures and updates, so we knew our Kirby and their Kota were getting along well and having fun while we were away. They were flexible to accommodate for shifts in plans, extremely communicative, and very caring. We’d definitely love for Kirby to stay with them again!”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Isabella was so so great with our dog, Benji! She kept us updated on how he was each day and really went the extra mile with making sure Benji was comfortable. Really appreciate the great care and I wouldn’t think twice about leaving my dog with her again ! ❤️”

“Michael was an amazing sitter for my dog and communicator for me!! We had a last minute schedule change and were traveling to Seattle unexpectedly. Michael was so helpful and accommodating to make this work with less notice than usual! He was prompt and communicative sending me pictures of Sox updates along the way. His dog Ellie was very chill and seemed to get along with Sox great. I definitely would (and will!) work with Michael again!”

“Ponyo was great - she consistently updated us with photos and notes so we knew our pup was well taken care of. We'd happily have Ponyo and her family board Willa again in the future.”

“Peter was the best dog sitter I could have found for my pup. Luke is 14 yo, so leaving him with someone isn’t always easy. Peter made the whole process incredibly smooth and friendly, and he made Luke feel right at home. He even took him on little adventures with Nova, while being very mindful of Luke’s needs and limits. Not only did he make Luke feel like part of his pack, but he also gave me great peace of mind with daily updates and photos where I could clearly see that Luke (even though he probably missed me) couldn’t have been in better hands. I’m especially grateful to Peter because when my return travel plans got complicated and the schedule didn’t quite line up, he was extremely flexible and helped me so much, making sure Luke got home safe and sound. Without a doubt, he will be my go-to person to take care of Luke the next time I have to travel.”

“Cheryl was great with our active 1 year old rescue pup. They had a great time at the park and we got daily updates, which was important since it was our first time away from our new family member. We’ll definitely rebook with Cheryl.”

“Although my 6-year-old miniature dachshund, Piper, has stayed with friends/family before, this was my first time using a professional service like Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Maria was exceptionally responsive and flexible with timing. She sent plenty of photos/videos/updates during our short weekend trip that truly set our minds at ease. Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. She even took Piper out to a cafe in a stroller for enrichment since she physically can't walk far on her own! Considering my partner has experience petsitting for over two decades and I worry (perhaps too much) about the care my dog will receive while I'm away, we were both impressed with Maria and would gladly hire her again to take care of Piper.”

“Ningning is a great sitter, and her own dog, Chase, is a sweetie. She provided lots of walks and playtime for our active dog, Murphy, and accommodated Murphy’s schedule even though it didn’t align with her usual one. Chase was a wonderful companion to Murphy as well! She sent lots of pictures and videos of their activities and the dogs playing together. 10/10!!”

“Lina did a great job watching our chihuahua for the weekend! She was very responsive and kept us updated with pictures daily. Our dog is a bit shy, but seemed to warm up to Lina by the end of the weekend and start making herself at home. We would definitely let our dog stay with her again!”

“Thank you, Ling! It was so good to see Sean playing with other dogs. That doesn’t happen very often, so when it does it makes us so happy to see. We know he must feel very comfortable there!”

“Regina is the best! My pup came back happy, tired, and clean - a tough combo to achieve! I loved all of the pictures and videos Regina sent and definitely plan to have her hang out with my pup again.”

“Sophia had great communication during the whole process and was very flexible when I needed to change my pick up and drop off times last minute. Milo will for sure be back to stay with her and her pup.”

“This was my first time boarding Nico with Ana. Our meet and greet went very well. Ana is kind, friendly, and asked plenty of questions about Nico’s needs and preferences. I left feeling very comfortable moving forward with the booking. Nico was so well cared for while staying with Ana. Not only does she care deeply for animals, she understands how it must feel to leave your pet with someone else. She was very quick to reply to any messages and sent lots of updates and photos while we were away. Great communication and I would 100% recommend Ana as a fantastic pet sitter! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’ll definitely have Nico stay with Ana again in the future.”

“Michelle is the best. Truly a dog whisperer. My geriatric pug mix & very shy german shepherd love staying at her place. She does a great job accommodating their particular needs. I always appreciate the detailed updates I get too. Also her two dogs are lovely :)”

“Alyssa was awesome! Her updates were super cute and she sent lots of great photos. She was great with my elderly, high needs cat that required both injections and medications.”
“Amy stayed at my apartment and watched my cat for 10 days. She truly went above and beyond and I can’t be more grateful and amazed. She sent photos and updates the whole time, left my place so tidy and clean, even left a few Polaroid photos of my kitty? I have already bragged to all my friends and family about Amy—would recommend her to anyone!”

“Sabrina and Daniel were incredible! They took care of our cat for 10 days while we were on a long distance road trip. We didn’t always have the best service during our trip, but we always received consistent and timely updates from Sabrina and Daniel, which were always a treat to receive when we returned into service. They were great to communicate with and gave our girl the best care. I’ll always be grateful to them for the peace of mind they gave us for our trip. It allowed us to be fully present and not worried about what was going on at home with our kitty! Will absolutely be hiring them again.”

“I feel so lucky to have found Kimberly! She is very sweet and radiates her love for cats :) My two kittens took to her very quickly and I appreciated Kimberly’s thoroughness during each visit and communicated with a lot of detail and cute snapshots. Highly recommend!”

“Kelsey was amazing with my two kitties. She offered to visit ahead of time to check out the set up and was on time and did all was necessary, played with kitties especially.”

“Noel was an incredible cat sitter and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. My cat needed special attention while I was away, including applying eye ointment four times a day, some hand feeding since he was in a cone, and a lot of patience. Before I left, Noel even took the time to meet up with me to make sure both she and Vinny were comfortable with each other, which gave me so much peace of mind. His eye improved significantly under her care, and it was clear he was happy and well looked after when I returned. She also kept everything neat and tidy. Noel is a wonderful, communicative, and dedicated caregiver. I highly recommend her!”

“Hannah did a wonderful job taking care of our cat. She came twice daily and always sent us photos to show how happy he was doing. We look forward to having Hannah take care our kitty again.”

About: Based in Seattle, I’m a creative professional who runs my design studio and online pet shop from home. Because I work from my living room, your dog becomes my full-time "office assistant," receiving constant attention, frequent potty breaks, and a calm, boutique environment. I offer high-touch, reliable care for those who want their pets to feel right at home while they’re away. Hi! Jess here — a visual designer, amateur pet photographer, and the artist behind an Etsy shop, that offers dog stickers and custom pet portraits. So yes, your pet’s stay with me will come with vacation-level care and a mini photoshoot! My friends call me the "dog whisperer" — I’m patient, observant, and deeply attuned to each pup’s needs. I treat every dog as if they were my own, always watching for signs of stress or discomfort and keeping you in the loop. I live with my Yorkiepoo, Mochi, who’s my daily adventure buddy. From sniff walks and puzzle play (even though he hates it and cheats all the time) to lazy cuddle time, I make sure pets in my care feel safe, loved, and at home. Your pup’s safety is my top priority — always on-leash outdoors (no matter how good their recall is), using a non-retractable leash for control in sudden situations. No risks, no shortcuts. Ever. At home, I’ve got multiple cozy donut beds, clean bowls, squeaky and non-squeaky toys (all Mochi’s—he's got a crazy dog mom). I always do a quick hygiene wipe after coming back from the outside and wash with dog shampoo if #2 is involved — vet-recommended and part of our daily routine. My one-bedroom condo is in a dog-friendly neighborhood with walkable parks nearby. It’s clean, calm, and made for cuddly guests.

“Bonnie did an amazing job looking after our furry family while we were away. She took great care of them, provided lots of attention, and sent prompt updates with lots of photos. We very much appreciate it. 😁😸❤️”

“From our first initial contact I could tell Conner was thorough, attentive, and caring. He asked great questions that a sitter had never asked before. We felt confident that is something terrible were to happen when we were gone, our cats would be in good hands. Our cats seemed to warm up to him quickly which is impressive for them. Conner was also very flexible and understanding about key drop off when our building had an unexpected issue.”

“Madison originally came into our lives as a dog trainer, but she’s so wonderful with animals that she now cares for all three of our pets. This was our first weekend away with our two kittens at home, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. She did twice-daily drop-ins and sent updates and photos throughout — they were clearly getting plenty of playtime and snuggles. We came home to two very happy, well-loved cats. Her communication is exceptional and her genuine care for animals really shows. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!”

“Kathleen was absolutely fantastic with Biscuit, super attentive to his needs and played with him so much!!! She sent tons of pictures and updates! A package was even delivered to my door that wasn't mine and she took the initiative to find the correct owner and get it to her--so above and beyond! I'd recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a sitter with attention to detail, great communication, and a great connection with animals! Thank you Kathleen!!!”

“Natalie is great! She’s super responsive, great with cats and even went above and beyond when my cat’s food arrived after I’d already left. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for pet care and will absolutely book her again!”

“Hayley is great, she was very responsive and reliable! She checked in on our cats for a long weekend and sent lots of pictures of them playing and relaxing. We would love to book with her again :)”

“Nicole was so easy to work with and super communicative! I really appreciated how much she clearly cares for all animals, and she truly went above and beyond in making sure my kitty was well cared for. I will definitely work with her again in the future!”

About: I've been fortunate to live in many households with wonderful cats, and have lots of experience with daily care, including for older cats and those with special needs.

“Amanda was absolutely fantastic. I needed a last minute sitter and was super stressed and nervous to have a brand new person sit with my 2 high maintenance boys, but Amanda was sweet and calming and so incredibly flexible. She followed all of my ridiculous requests about their feeding habits and schedules, and the place was super clean when I returned. I received so many photos while I was away to make me feel relaxed and able to not worry. I would 100% recommend Amanda. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her.”

“We booked Felix on short notice for evening daycare, and he was very thoughtful in assessing whether our dog would be a good fit for his setup. We really appreciated the detailed updates and feedback throughout the stay. Felix has a strong understanding of dog behavior and group dynamics, which gave us peace of mind, and our somewhat nervous dog seemed to fit right in with his pack. Thanks Felix!”

“Ling provided such great care of my dog, it was heartwarming to see my Oumka running happily to come back to Ling's place. Ling is very responsive and sends regular updates throughout the day. It is clear that my dog had the best time with Ling, I highly recommend her services!”

“we had a great experience with eric! He watched our two pups for daycare and was incredibly communicative throughout the day—sending lots of photo updates and checking in often. One of my dogs is usually very fearful of new people, but he was patient and kind, and she warmed up to him quickly. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We highly recommend eric !”

About: I’ve taken care of my own puppy from 2016 and he’s still in good health and live with my parents after I went to college. It’s a serious thing to consider have another pet but I’m really happy to help take care of your puppy when you are busy! I’m on summer vacation rn so I’m almost free everyday! I believe I can allocate as time as your pet need to take care of them! I have my own bedroom and restroom at my apartment, which means I can keep them overnight without disturbing other people. And my apartment do allow pets so don’t worry!
“Scott has been a great sitter for Millie! He is reliable and punctual, always meeting me downstairs at the arranged time for an efficient pick-up/drop-off. Millie loves going to daycare in the morning and comes home happy and well taken care of!”

“Katie was great!! Eddie needs gentle introduction to new people and dogs and Katie handled everything perfectly. And Sophie is a well socialized dog buddy for E. Recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats throughout my life since being a teeny bopper (13-14 years old). I’ve loved animals since I was a child I would binge watch animal planet, discovery channel and dream of having a puppy as a child. My wish came true as I got older and I’ve learned the magic of respecting an animals nature as well as connecting to their hearts. I’m more than happy to help take care of the beings that take care of us in so many ways! Taking care of animals is my bread and butter so I am very professional and pour my heart, attention and care into the animals that choose me as their caretaker! I'm a stay-at-home mom and business owner so I have time throughout the day to care for animals, train them, play, walk them, and even just chill if that’s what they like to do. I don't have a rigid set schedule in my household, but I will follow any routine pet parents have for their babies. Typically I give two-three potty breaks during the entire day. Sunrise, mid-day, and night time. I have a 7 year old in my home, she loves animals as well so your fur baby should really enjoy children, have a low prey drive and patience to be a good fit for in home care. I care for my animals like they are my own family. I don't believe kibble and bits is a sustainable long-term way to keep your fur baby alive and healthy for years to come, so I cook fresh dog and catfood that can be added to their kibble or served stand alone. They love it and it's a quick way to get them comfortable and trusting of a new environment especially if they have separation anxiety. I establish myself as the big mama pack leader lol and they listen. I've had dogs that have had aggression towards other dogs come and board with me and make new paw pals. Dogs need to know that you are someone that can lead with love and that method has always had me have success with my furry friends. For cats, I know that they come from a long history and memory in their genes of being chased, disrespected, and even tortured in some places in the world so they need a lot of respect as far as space and allowing them to warm up. Every animal is different, but for cats specifically, I make sure to let them come to me when they're ready and give them their cozy permission to be free. Indipendence is key with felines for sure! My daughter is phenomenal at loving on these fur babies! Some have become her best friend very quickly, while others prefer the mama of the pack XD, either way we have a lot of fun.
“Walnut had a GREAT time with Alex and Kelley!! They took him on a big adventure to the farmers market and the beach, and hung out with him all day. They sent consistent updates and photos which we really appreciated. Walnut was super tuckered out when we picked him up and clearly had a great and stimulating day! We would recommend!”

“I brought TWO dogs to Chunli very last minute. I had my dog and my daughter's dog. Chunli was incredibly sweet to them. She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! They each had different feeding instructions and different dog foods and she followed all the instructions to the letter. The dogs were picked up at the end of a long day happy and barely even noticing I was there. I would totally use Chunli again.”

“Erica was incredible with my higher need, anxious golden! She was very understanding of her food allergies and patient when she had separation anxiety! She sent multiple updates & kept me informed throughout the stay. Will be staying with her again!”

“Julianna was so prepared & thoughtful! It was raining and she was ready with a towel. She even put Oscar’s wet clothes in the dryer so they would be dry in time for pick up. Highly recommend”

“We are so lucky to have found Biancana on Rover! She was amazing and so sweet with our Clancy. She texted us upon her arrival and departure and texted pictures during their outdoor walk adventure. She is sweet, caring and very attentative to our needs/desires for our dog. We will most surely be using her again and recommend her as an A++++ for your needs! We simply can’t thank you enough, Biancana! ~ Clancy, Anna and Grant”
“Chris was amazing! From the start, he was prompt, professional, and kind with his communication. My dog Lotus, can be a bit particular and anxious but Chris was patient, attentive, and took the time to reassure both of us, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear that he genuinely cared about Lotus and her well being. I’m a first responder and often have to be away for days at a time, so finding someone I can trust with lotus is super important. Chris made that easy! I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Chris to any loved ones looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again! (I have)”

She is very good about reading dog body language and understanding when a pet may be too hot, or too tired and goes off of the signals sent by the dog. She is super sweet and detail oriented and even takes great pictures of the pets under her care! Would absolutely book again!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets through house sitting and repeat clients, working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from high-energy puppies to senior dogs who need a slower, more attentive pace. I also grew up in a home that always had multiple pets—including dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and even a hedgehog—so being around and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily life. I’m very comfortable maintaining established routines, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific instructions that help pets feel safe and at ease. I know how important consistency is, especially when owners are away, and I always aim to make the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible for both pets and their people. Above all, I bring a calm, attentive presence and make sure every pet gets plenty of care, attention, and affection. About: I’ve had pets in the house since I was born, I love animals and have been trusted to walk, and house sit for many people in my neighborhood. I love all cats and dogs and would love to work with yours. I am currently a college student at Pomona College. I am very much a morning person and most of my classes start around 10am. This leaves plenty of time in the morning for animal visits. Additionally, all my classes are over by 4pm. In my home we are very careful of our pets safety and I would love to do the same for yours. I always make sure my pets are well exercised and I understand how important that is to a dog and their family.

About: I have had and been around dogs since I was about 5 years old and have loved every second of it. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and I couldn't imagine my life without them. I started taking care of our family pets once I was a teenager and over a year ago I adopted my dog, Bumi, from Seattle Humane. Bumi turned out to be highly reactive and since adopting him I have worked extensively with a trainer and become very familiar with reactive dogs and can handle them well, provided they have some level of training. I have also looked after cats from my friends and acquaintances and have never had a negative experience aside from the occasional ankle swipe or warning bite, as cats are want to do. After working with my reactive dog I have become very sensitive to animals body language and know when to back off. While cats body language is quite different from a dogs I have plenty of experience and know when a cat does not want to be approached. I've loved every single dog and cat I have come across and would love to provide excellent care for your pets. I'm currently an unemployed scientist waiting for the NIH to be funded again so my schedule during the day is wide open. I have some responsibilities in the evening that can last a few hours but can still attend to pets as needed. As I have a reactive dog at home I won't be able to house pets at my home but can come to your house and care for your pets. Your pets safety and well-being are incredibly important to me. This includes stress levels and other emotional issues. While taking care of your pets I will work to ensure their comfort and reduce their stress while you are away.
About: Hello there! I have a 4.5 year-old corgi - Chase! I got Chase when he was a 2 month old puppy, and we've been living a very happy life together since then. Chase makes me know how amazing, genuine and loving dogs are, and spending time with them is truly relaxing and enjoyable! Luckily my work is nearly fully remote, which allows me to spend more time with him. We normally go out 3-4 times per day and will play in the park if weather is nice. When we are at home, we play toys together and also cuddle together while watching TV:) I think dogs are our family members and I believe your dog will have fun here with me and Chase! My job is remote most of time, which makes it very flexible to take care of the dogs. Usually I take my dog out 3-4 times per day to potty and walk. We will also go to the park if weather is nice. When we are at home, I normally take couple of breaks to play with them as well. I live in a apartment and it's very safe. I have a corgi and he is very friendly and playful. I have a crate if it's needed.
“Elizabeth is AWESOME! She always goes above and beyond in the care and attention she gives to my pup, Finley. She is an excellent communicator, consistent, and kind. I can rest easy knowing Finley is getting what she needs with someone I trust!”

About: All proceeds from my services will be donated to the Seattle Humane and the Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc. I work from home. So if your dog loves jumping on conference calls and busting out slide decks, he or she is in a treat. But we will for sure take a few breaks, go for a run by the lake or a visit to the coffee shop. Of course, if it rains, we will be glued to Planet Earth. On the weekends, your pal will most likely succumb to my obsession with the outdoors. We will be hiking, camping, and take a road trip to somewhere nice and scenic. A little bit about me as a sitter: Our furriends always wittingly test the new guy. We will communicate beforehand so I won't be taken as a sucker. I am very mindful about bad habits, so you can trust me with your invested training. I am also very cautious on walks, so your pup won't pick up things he or she should not have in their mouth. Having had dealt with long stints of medical issues with my best friend, I am also practiced with feeding medicines and caring for our healing canine friends. Last, I love big dogs and I cannot lie. Big dogs always take my heart. Message me if you have questions. See you soon neighbors. I work from home. On the days that I'm not traveling, my schedule is quite flexible. Having a fur boss it's a good way to make sure I'm not overly consumed with my desk job. Your dog will share the modern amenities of a two-bedroom one-bath apartment in the heart of Ballard. I wipe down the paws when returning from an outing.
“Aaron was the perfect dog walker for my 80lbs nervous German Shepard. During the meet and greet he had the perfect calm, confident, friendliness to set my dog at ease. It was clear from the first meeting that Aaron is very good with dogs of all temperaments. He also saved my Christmas by being available for walks over the holidays! Sent the perfect amount of photo/video updates during walks. Highly recommended!”

“Regina is the best! My pup came back happy, tired, and clean - a tough combo to achieve! I loved all of the pictures and videos Regina sent and definitely plan to have her hang out with my pup again.”

“Michelle is the best. Truly a dog whisperer. My geriatric pug mix & very shy german shepherd love staying at her place. She does a great job accommodating their particular needs. I always appreciate the detailed updates I get too. Also her two dogs are lovely :)”

“Eric was extremely communicative and quick to respond with any questions throughout our dog’s stay. He sent so many photos and we swear our dog has never looked happier in any photos we take of her at home so proof that Eric’s care was wonderful!”

“I always appreciate booking with Adam! He always makes time for my girl and she comes home so happy! When I ask her about her day with Adam she wags her tail with joy!”

“Davis was fantastic with our dog, a 75 lb mixed breed. She is very anxious when we leave her with a sitter. She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”

“Sheena did so well with my two kiddos! Sterling can be a bit of a handful--he has anxiety and special needs (and is a bit of a grumpy old man). I can tell that she followed the most important directions I gave her based on his condition when I picked them up, I am very grateful. 🙂”

“Felix gave regular detailed updates about Monty’s stay with him! He made sure Monty had everything he needed and sent pictures of his days. I appreciated the dedication!”

“Catherine was absolutely wonderful. This was our first time boarding Hiro, and she was so great through the whole process. We would 100% book again with her in the future.”

“Tracy is amazing! She is so attentive and caring. I felt so relived while I was away knowing my pup was in good hands. My girl had a blast with her. I 10/10 recommend!”

“A true dog lover who treated my pup like her own. From daily park visits to allowing my dog to sleep in her bed, I really appreciated the care to making sure my dog both her daily exercise and love.”

“Emily is wonderful. She was incredibly responsive from the start, extremely loving to our pup and kept in exceptional contact with us while we were away. She gave our 11-month-old golden the time of her life! Our Maple had an absolute blast and we could tell she was being cared for like family. I highly recommend Emily and will definitely call on her again!”
