About: I was raised with all kinds of pups. Labs, Retrievers, Pugs and a couple Huskies taught me a lot about dogs and their unique personalities and characteristics. It doesn't take long for dogs to warm up to me, they can tell that I am a dog person. But each one is different in their own unique ways. I enjoy ALL breeds of dogs! Sometimes dogs do take time to settle in, so it's best to start out with a walk before taking them inside, or we can go to the large enclosed rooftop patio to play or get some sun. I have a lot of dog toys, but feel free to bring their own. I'm also comfortable with medication/food administration, plus I have watched dogs with torn ACLs (CCLs), arthritis and other health conditions. I can train doggos to do a few tricks but I am not a professional. There are a lot of activities to do on Stone Way. When inside doggos enjoy looking out my windows to watch all the people/dogs walk by I like to go outside w them every couple hours. I'm also fine with "leash pulling" behavior and sometimes I can correct it. I have decades of experience and I can be trusted and I'm very punctual. I try to respond to all requests immediately. I have a large extended family and they all leave their dogs with me. Let's set up a meet and greet so your pup gets a chance to meet me first. Thank you!! I'm an early riser, and walker, going outside every couple of hours. I have a comfy "dog couch" that they are always welcome to use. I am home most of the day so your dog will not be left alone. If I have another dog scheduled during the time you requested, you will be informed so you can make the best decision for your four legged friend beforehand to ensure a safe environment. When I'm not at my place, I spend a lot of time on my enclosed rooftop. I prefer not leave pets unattended for more than an hour or so. I live near Gas Works and like to go there often. I take great care in their safety and can gain their trust quickly. I try to immediately respond to any requests unless it's late at night.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats throughout my life since being a teeny bopper (13-14 years old). I’ve loved animals since I was a child I would binge watch animal planet, discovery channel and dream of having a puppy as a child. I don't have a rigid set schedule in my household, but I will follow any routine pet parents have for their babies. Typically I give two-three potty breaks during the entire day. Sunrise, mid-day, and night time. I have a 7 year old in my home, she loves animals as well so your fur baby should really enjoy children, have a low prey drive and patience to be a good fit for in home care. I care for my animals like they are my own family. I don't believe kibble and bits is a sustainable long-term way to keep your fur baby alive and healthy for years to come, so I cook fresh dog and catfood that can be added to their kibble or served stand alone. They love it and it's a quick way to get them comfortable and trusting of a new environment especially if they have separation anxiety. I establish myself as the big mama pack leader lol and they listen. I've had dogs that have had aggression towards other dogs come and board with me and make new paw pals. Dogs need to know that you are someone that can lead with love and that method has always had me have success with my furry friends. For cats, I know that they come from a long history and memory in their genes of being chased, disrespected, and even tortured in some places in the world so they need a lot of respect as far as space and allowing them to warm up. Every animal is different, but for cats specifically, I make sure to let them come to me when they're ready and give them their cozy permission to be free. Indipendence is key with felines for sure! My daughter is phenomenal at loving on these fur babies! Some have become her best friend very quickly, while others prefer the mama of the pack XD, either way we have a lot of fun.

About: I grew up with a Golden Retriever during my childhood and have loved dogs ever since. After I graduated from college I lived with a roommate and took care of their Shiba Inu / Husky mix for up to a week at a time when they traveled for work. About: I’ve had pets in the house since I was born, I love animals and have been trusted to walk, and house sit for many people in my neighborhood. I love all cats and dogs and would love to work with yours. I am currently a college student at Pomona College. I am very much a morning person and most of my classes start around 10am.
