Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. About: I’ve taken care of my own puppy from 2016 and he’s still in good health and live with my parents after I went to college. It’s a serious thing to consider have another pet but I’m really happy to help take care of your puppy when you are busy! I’m on summer vacation rn so I’m almost free everyday! About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats throughout my life since being a teeny bopper (13-14 years old). I’ve loved animals since I was a child I would binge watch animal planet, discovery channel and dream of having a puppy as a child. My wish came true as I got older and I’ve learned the magic of respecting an animals nature as well as connecting to their hearts. I'm a stay-at-home mom and business owner so I have time throughout the day to care for animals, train them, play, walk them, and even just chill if that’s what they like to do. I don't have a rigid set schedule in my household, but I will follow any routine pet parents have for their babies. Typically I give two-three potty breaks during the entire day. Sunrise, mid-day, and night time. I have a 7 year old in my home, she loves animals as well so your fur baby should really enjoy children, have a low prey drive and patience to be a good fit for in home care. I care for my animals like they are my own family. I don't believe kibble and bits is a sustainable long-term way to keep your fur baby alive and healthy for years to come, so I cook fresh dog and catfood that can be added to their kibble or served stand alone. They love it and it's a quick way to get them comfortable and trusting of a new environment especially if they have separation anxiety. I establish myself as the big mama pack leader lol and they listen. I've had dogs that have had aggression towards other dogs come and board with me and make new paw pals. Dogs need to know that you are someone that can lead with love and that method has always had me have success with my furry friends. For cats, I know that they come from a long history and memory in their genes of being chased, disrespected, and even tortured in some places in the world so they need a lot of respect as far as space and allowing them to warm up. Every animal is different, but for cats specifically, I make sure to let them come to me when they're ready and give them their cozy permission to be free. Indipendence is key with felines for sure! My daughter is phenomenal at loving on these fur babies! Some have become her best friend very quickly, while others prefer the mama of the pack XD, either way we have a lot of fun.

About: I’ve had pets in the house since I was born, I love animals and have been trusted to walk, and house sit for many people in my neighborhood. I love all cats and dogs and would love to work with yours. I am currently a college student at Pomona College. I am very much a morning person and most of my classes start around 10am. This leaves plenty of time in the morning for animal visits. Additionally, all my classes are over by 4pm. In my home we are very careful of our pets safety and I would love to do the same for yours. About: I have had and been around dogs since I was about 5 years old and have loved every second of it. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and I couldn't imagine my life without them. I started taking care of our family pets once I was a teenager and over a year ago I adopted my dog, Bumi, from Seattle Humane. Bumi turned out to be highly reactive and since adopting him I have worked extensively with a trainer and become very familiar with reactive dogs and can handle them well, provided they have some level of training. I have also looked after cats from my friends and acquaintances and have never had a negative experience aside from the occasional ankle swipe or warning bite, as cats are want to do. After working with my reactive dog I have become very sensitive to animals body language and know when to back off. While cats body language is quite different from a dogs I have plenty of experience and know when a cat does not want to be approached. I've loved every single dog and cat I have come across and would love to provide excellent care for your pets. I'm currently an unemployed scientist waiting for the NIH to be funded again so my schedule during the day is wide open. I have some responsibilities in the evening that can last a few hours but can still attend to pets as needed. As I have a reactive dog at home I won't be able to house pets at my home but can come to your house and care for your pets. Your pets safety and well-being are incredibly important to me. About: Hello there! I have a 4.5 year-old corgi - Chase! I got Chase when he was a 2 month old puppy, and we've been living a very happy life together since then. Chase makes me know how amazing, genuine and loving dogs are, and spending time with them is truly relaxing and enjoyable! Luckily my work is nearly fully remote, which allows me to spend more time with him. We normally go out 3-4 times per day and will play in the park if weather is nice. When we are at home, we play toys together and also cuddle together while watching TV:) I think dogs are our family members and I believe your dog will have fun here with me and Chase! My job is remote most of time, which makes it very flexible to take care of the dogs. Usually I take my dog out 3-4 times per day to potty and walk. We will also go to the park if weather is nice. When we are at home, I normally take couple of breaks to play with them as well. I live in a apartment and it's very safe. I have a corgi and he is very friendly and playful. I have a crate if it's needed.

Having had dealt with long stints of medical issues with my best friend, I am also practiced with feeding medicines and caring for our healing canine friends. Last, I love big dogs and I cannot lie. “Davis was fantastic with our dog, a 75 lb mixed breed. She is very anxious when we leave her with a sitter. She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”
