About: work fully remotely and care for pets from only one household at a time so I can give them the focused attention they deserve. Living near Green Lake, I love incorporating long neighborhood walks or light jogs for dogs who enjoy staying active. I grew up in a dog-loving family and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Since I work from home, I’m available all day long on weekdays. On weekends I can sometimes be gone for half a day, so it’d be good to get advance notice (2 weeks would be best). Currently living in a studio apartment around the Roosevelt station, my place is smoke free, alcohol free, and kid free. Also pets are allowed on furniture!

About: I’ve been caring for other people’s pets for years, so that is how I found myself on Rover! My love for animals isn’t a personality quirk. It’s a core value. I’m vegan, I care deeply about animal welfare, and yes, that absolutely extends to your pets. I’m present in a way that animals seem to pick up on pretty fast. I practice yoga and move with purpose. Pets tend to vibe with that… at least they haven’t complained yet! I’m based in north Seattle and know all the good walk routes, the quiet streets, the spots worth sniffing. I’m also communicative. I work from home, which means your pet isn’t sitting around waiting for someone to show up. I’m already taking breaks to walk around the neighborhood anyway! Adding your amazing dog to that routine is honestly just more rewarding. I have a fenced backyard. I approach all pets with patience and respect for their personal space. I take my walks and pet sitting with great care. I want to get to know your pet’s energy, their triggers, and what makes them happy. I keep leashes secure and pay attention. I’m not going to be doomscrolling while your pet figures their next move.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, ranging from sizes as small as a chiweenie and as big as an irish wolfhound. My dad has a pet pig (ask me about it) that has a feeding schedule starting at 5 am, so following a strict routine with pet care comes naturally to me. While I do not currently have pets of my own, I occasionally dog sit for family and friends. I’m currently on leave from work to take a burnout break, so I am available at all times during the week. Would love to play or walk with your dog while you are at work. Hoping to spend some time outside this summer and a new doggy friend is the perfect companion! While I am not available for boarding, I am a quiet and calm person who pays attention to dog body language. I love when dogs are cuddly and playful, but I am adaptable and good at reading body language so I can match your dog’s personality. About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and have hands-on experience caring for them. Over the past year, I walked a Golden Retriever every day around Green Lake, giving me experience with consistent exercise routines, leash handling, and understanding a dog's needs. In a client's home, I'll make sure they have fresh water, meals on schedule, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. About: Hi! My name is Emery, and I have several years of experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Ever since I was young, I’ve helped my aunt care for dogs and cats through her in-home pet care and boarding business, giving me hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets and their individual needs. My passion for animal care began while helping care for my own elderly dog, which taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and paying close attention to each pet’s comfort. I also have experience administering oral medications, including providing my elderly dog with GABA as part of his care. Whether your pet is energetic and loves long walks or is a senior who needs a slower pace and extra support, I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. If your older dog still enjoys getting outside but can’t walk long distances, I’m more than willing to accommodate them, even if that means using a stroller so they can safely enjoy some fresh air. I’m a college student and am currently only taking classes from 6-8:30 pm, Monday and Wednesday. Outside these windows of time I have plenty of availability! I am comfortable walking your dog outside and have had experience with protecting my own dog in hostile situations whether that be at a dog park or on a walk. I am able to crate your dog based on their needs, administer medication as needed (capsule or oral), or even follow strict feeding regimens.

About: I have a 10 month old Labradoodle named Olive and I’ve taught her basic commands. I typically walk my dog on residential streets, Green Lake, and sometimes at the waterfront. I’m open to hearing what your dog’s comfort level is like in various environments so we can go on a walk that matches their comfort. Monday and Tuesday I have full availability with availability after 7pm all other days. I usually spend most of the day outside on Monday and Tuesday. I live in an apartment with a crate and potty trained 10 month old labradoodle. I have one extra crate that can fit a medium-large dog. I currently take my dog on about 4 walks a day and I wipe her paws off before letting her on the couch. My dog is very social and playful, but can come off as annoying for mid-low energy dogs. I redirect my dog’s attention to toys or remove her from situations when I notice signs of irritability from other dogs.

About: I have enjoyed the best labradoodle for the last 11 years - I call her my best friend! Since getting our dog, my grandparents, dad, and aunt have also welcomed dogs to their families and I've had the privilege of taking care of them as well - walking, feeding, and playing with them all. I am a recent college grad available to help with your pets most days when I’m not working during the summer. Days, nights, and weekends are all available! When watching pets in my clients' homes, I will be sure to make sure doors are closed, gates are latched, and dogs on leashes when we leave the house.
