“Angela has been walking our dog Maggie 2-3 times per week for a few months and she is great! She’s on time and communicative in advanced with any changes to our weekly schedule. When we run into Angela in the neighborhood on our own walks, Maggie is so excited to see her!!!”

About: As a former EMT, I learned how important it is to be dependable, attentive, and calm in different situations. I love getting to know each dog's personality and believe they deserve more than just a quick walk. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and positive experience while giving owners confidence that their pet is being well cared for. I am an graduate MPH student at University of Washington. I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekdays from early morning through the evening. I am also available on weekends and can accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits as needed. While my schedule may occasionally vary due to school and other commitments, I stay committed and communicate any scheduling changes well in advance. I provide safe, reliable care by following each pet's routine, offering exercise, enrichment, companionship, and ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.
About: work fully remotely and care for pets from only one household at a time so I can give them the focused attention they deserve. Living near Green Lake, I love incorporating long neighborhood walks or light jogs for dogs who enjoy staying active. I grew up in a dog-loving family and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Since I work from home, I’m available all day long on weekdays. On weekends I can sometimes be gone for half a day, so it’d be good to get advance notice (2 weeks would be best). Currently living in a studio apartment around the Roosevelt station, my place is smoke free, alcohol free, and kid free. Also pets are allowed on furniture!
About: I have shared my entire life with pets and have spent years caring for the furry family members of friends and neighbors. During the school year, I work as an elementary school Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This professional background truly sets me apart as a caregiver: I bring an immense amount of patience and deep experience with positive reinforcement. Whether your pup is an energetic bundle of joy who needs an active summer walk, or a sensitive soul who requires a gentle, patient touch, I naturally adapt to their unique personality and communication style. Because I follow a school-calendar schedule, I have dedicated, reliable availability this summer to give your pet my undivided attention, affection, and the highest standard of safe care! I have dedicated availability for walks and care throughout most of the summer while school is out! I do have a couple of pre-planned trips on my calendar, so I will be briefly unavailable for a few dates, including a long weekend getaway starting July 24th. I keep my Rover calendar completely up to date, so please feel free to check my availability or message me to coordinate the perfect schedule for your pup! When walking your pup, my top priorities are safety, structure, and providing a fun, rewarding break in their day. I treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect.
About: Dogs and cats have been a part of my life since I was born. In addition to my own animals, I have been the go-to sitter for friends and family for over a decade. I love all manner of creatures - can't wait to meet yours! My current obligations are my own cats and some online classes so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. Weekdays or weekends, I am available! I try to mimic your own routine with your pets as much as possible. Feeding, playing, and outdoor time will occur within 1-2 hours of their regular times. I understand that every pet is different so I approach in a calm manner that respects your pets' space. I can handle any size dog and have experience with timid animals and pets with varying degrees of energy. It usually doesn't take long for pets to feel at ease in my presence.
“Jimena is a wonderful and dependable dog walker! Our pooch looks forward to his time with her and does a little happy dance every time she comes to pick him up. We feel so lucky to have found her. We highly recommend her services. 👍”

“We were so glad Daniel was able to help out at the last minute when we needed somebody the night before! Our dog had a great time walking and hanging out with him and hated to see him go, even after a whole hour visit.”

“Lucy hurt her ankle at the dog park over the weekend. Carley has been so kind and aware of Lucy’s limp, and allowing the walk to happen at Lucy’s own pace. Couldn’t hope for more from a caretaker.”

About: I’m a dog parent and PhD student with 4+ years of walking and caring for my own reactive dog, and 17 years of petsitting dogs, cats, small mammals, and lizards. My goal in pet care of any kind is making sure your pets feel as safe, loved, and happy as possible. I’m very comfortable working with reactivity in dogs and will ask all dog owners what their dog’s limits and preferences are with common triggers during walks. I also have experience with senior dog care and medication administration. I’m a PhD student with a flexible work schedule during the school year and full daytime availability during the summer. I am also a part-time musician. The safety and comfort of your pets is my most important priority. I commit to following the “leave no trace” rule when visiting in client’s homes.
About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs, often helping friends by looking after their pups. I’m very patient and love spending time playing, cuddling, and making sure pets feel happy and safe. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for dogs who enjoy a calm but engaging stay. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities—from playful and social to more independent or sensitive pups. My goal is to provide not only reliable care but also a fun, loving environment where every dog feels like part of the family - I host up to 2 dogs at a time to ensure each pup gets personalized attention and care! - Daycare Services My daycare covers up to 8 hours per day. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. For stays longer than 8 hours, an extended care fee applies. Stays longer than 10 hours are considered boarding and are charged at the full daily boarding rate. - My daily schedule allows me to spend a lot of time with the dogs. I usually go on regular walks and provide a mix of playtime and rest, depending on each dog’s energy level. I already have a small dog at home, so my space is set up to be pet-friendly with treats, toys, and supplies ready. Dogs in my care can enjoy a safe and comfortable environment, regular playtime, and plenty of love. I usually take the dogs out three times a day, making sure they get enough exercise and fresh air. If your pup enjoys socializing, they’ll also have the chance to play and keep company with my friendly small dog.

About: I have recently been volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter, and am a foster parent to puppies, kittens and Adult dogs as needed if I can. I've been around all kinds of pets my whole life. I have worked at Dog Day 2 grooming and self wash in Everett, Burien Veterinary Hospital, and Mission Veterinary Clinic in Renton. I recently moved back to Burien and am looking to make some puppy friends, and a little income as well..I'm currently available as needed, and can provide your animal child/s with attention, walks, food, h20, play time, loves, and care as needed. A little about me, We recently had to say goodbye for now to our 16yr old Australian Shepherd, And it's been a sad time, but we know "Choco" is in a happy rainbow place. I look forward to meeting you, and your pets. Thanks for considering my help. Sincerely Julie
“Outstanding service, always on time with great communication during the walks. You can tell she's a dog person which makes us feel safer leaving our pup with her”

“Lynn was great walking our doodle and poodle. Our doodle loves everyone but our poodle can be pretty shy. Lynn showed a lot of patience with her and got her in her harness and walked each time. She also had no problem with two good sized dogs. We hope Lynn will continue to help us out when needed.”

About: I’m a dog owner and have experience with cat and dog sitting! I am very attentive to detail and will make sure to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I’d love to help with feeding, playtime, walks, and any other care! I am currently a student at the University of Washington so I have a pretty flexible schedule throughout the day, especially through summer as I will still be in Seattle. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. My own dog has several health issues, so I’m experienced with providing extra attention and administering care as instructed. I always follow owners’ instructions carefully and provide thoughtful care!

“Sebastian is very professional and kind. He is easy to communicate with. Our dog is difficult to control on a leash but he handled her well over an hour long walk. Would highly recommend his services, and plan to book again! Thanks Sebastian!”

Roosevelt dog parents share their Rover experiences
Victoria is a great communicator and does a great job caring for my dog. She is great at rolling with the punches not matter what my dogs mood is, sometimes she wants to walk sometimes she wants to lay in the sun and Victoria is great at accommodating it all. She also is flexible with my random schedule changes!

Charlotte is great! My dog gets nervous around other dogs so I am always looking for a walker that knows how to handle this and she was perfect. She pays attention to the instructions I gave her and she was always very kind with my dog. Definitely recommend her!

I love Madison, as a trainer and dog walker! She's my go-to for care for my puppy. She's kind, professional, communicative, and balances the needs of the dogs she works with the concerns/challenges that us pet parents carry. My puppy is a challenge (high energy, reactive) and Madison really knows how to work with her. I can't recommend her enough.
