I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I have a big dog of my own, Theo, who I’ve trained and care for every day, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and attention that goes into keeping a pet happy, safe, and well cared for. I’ve also provided dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats, and I’m comfortable following individual routines, instructions, and personalities. Theo has had some behavioral quirks of his own, so I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may be nervous, reactive, stubborn, or just need a little extra patience and understanding. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away.

I understand that every animal has their own quirks, preferences, and nuances, and I’m happy to adapt to what makes your pet feel most comfortable. Whether that means sticking closely to their normal schedule, giving them extra patience and attention, or following specific feeding, medication, walking, or care instructions, I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and attention I would give my own.

Rachel did some drop in visits with our two dogs and she was great! We have a timid dog who is pretty nervous around new people, but Rachel was able to win her over pretty quick, which was super reassuring. Her communication was great and she seems very reliable.
Absolutely perfect experience. First overnight for our dog and it was beyond my expectations, She was so well cared for and enjoyed her time with Rachel so much, no separation issues, she ate great while she was there, she slept great, had lots of playtime and so much attention. Rachel has been incredible to work with throughout getting ready for this visit and communicating with me during this day. I could not be more happy with this experience!
Rachel is our first Rover experience and it has been amazing at every step working with her (and her husband is awesome too!). Today was a day time visit to get ready for next weekend overnight and it went so well. Our 2 year old Shepsky LOVED her time there and didn’t want to leave her new bestie (their pup) when I came to pick up because she was having so much fun and getting so much human and dog attention. Such a a good feeling as a dog parent to know all is well when you are not around. I highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a super special caregiver and excellent environment too (great home and yard set up for dogs).
We could not have been more pleased with Rachel. Prompt, responsive, professional---we would use her again, and enthusiastically recommend her to anyone, without any qualms whatsoever. A real find!!!
Rachel is lovely! I honestly think she might take care of my dog better than I do. She was very flexible and even tacked on a little extra time with Lila when I needed her to. She sent pictures and made sure Lila got her daily fill of snuggles. She ?? even ?? vacuumed ?? my ?? apartment! Will definitely book with her again!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my weekday routine while my kids are at daycare. I’m available during the day, typically between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM, which allows me to stop by during peak work hours for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and other care needs. I’m happy to work with your pet’s schedule and make sure they get the attention and care they need while you’re away.
