About: I was born with an 8-year-old Great Dane, so I've been around dogs literally since I was born. I regularly volunteer at Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, working with puppies during puppy yoga and wrangling puppies during the monthly Puppy Prov, when puppies participate in an improv comedy show. I also walk some of my neighbor's dogs. I don't have a dog right now, but I still love dogs and pet them every chance I get. I'm in school on weekdays, but I am free most weekends except for the first Saturday of every month when I'm usually volunteering with puppies. When the school year ends, I will be available on weekdays and not weekends. I maintain attention and make sure the dog has a chance to sniff things along the way but not eat anything. I've dealt with energetic dogs in the past so I can divert a dog's attention if it wants to interact with another dog who doesn't want to. I can also work on training dogs to heel during our walks.

About: Hi! My name is Melani. I grew up with cats and dogs, so I swing both ways when it comes to furry friends. I love all dogs and breeds, big and small. I do have a special spot in my heart for rescue animals, as the loving owner of a rescue dog named Lola (she gives lots of love in return). About: I have recently been volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter, and am a foster parent to puppies, kittens and Adult dogs as needed if I can. I've been around all kinds of pets my whole life. I have worked at Dog Day 2 grooming and self wash in Everett, Burien Veterinary Hospital, and Mission Veterinary Clinic in Renton. D&P are nearby so we scheduled a meet&greet. Charly, my girl, barked and Paul just stood straight and didn't look at her. He gave her a few cookies and D&P were totally unfazed by her! That moment showed me that D&P clearly understood dog behavior. My kidz came back from their first walk happy, tails a-waggin'. About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. About: I’m a dog parent and PhD student with 4+ years of walking and caring for my own reactive dog, and 17 years of petsitting dogs, cats, small mammals, and lizards. About: My family had many Westies. I’ve rescued a Dachshund, Papillon-Chihuahua, and Cocker Spaniel. Dogs love me, and I them. When you can’t be with them, let me give your dog love and you a little vacation. I’m looking for a p/t job, so my availability may not be as listed-please ask. I’d love to shuffle items around to be your pet’s sitter! I have a small outdoor area near my place. There are 2 groups of 5-6 stairs each from the sidewalk to my front door. Please provide a harness for your doggie. A doggie companion is always desired and will be treated like a diamond!
