About: I have veterinary and dog training experience along with medication administration skills. I will provide loving care and I’ve noticed animals naturally feel comfortable with me. I currently have a lot of free time and want to share my energy with all these animals! I have been around animals my whole life it’s something I enjoy I will follow any rules you have for your dog or cat no matter how much they try convincing me the rule is made up. I will also provide pictures of your animals to show you how much fun they have!

About: I’ve spent my whole life around animals and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including large-breed and reactive dogs. I’ve also been fostering since 2020, mostly kittens, so I’m comfortable with animals who need a little extra patience or time to warm up. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I do my best to make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my care. I’m attentive to their behavior, follow their usual routines, and take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet seriously. My goal is always to give them the same level of care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m currently in school to become a veterinary technician, so most of my weekdays are spent in class or studying. I’m in school Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Outside of school, I love spending my time with animals, which is a big part of why I enjoy doing Rover. I get to meet all kinds of dogs and cats, get to know their personalities, and spend time doing something I genuinely love. It’s also been a great way to gain more hands-on experience while working toward my career in veterinary medicine. I’ll care for your pets in their own home, where they’re already comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I’m very comfortable following detailed care instructions, including feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, medications, and other specific routines. I’m comfortable administering medications to both dogs and cats and understand the importance of following instructions and timing carefully. I’ll also keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior, appetite, and overall wellbeing and will communicate with you if anything seems unusual or concerning. Most importantly, I’ll respect your home, your pet’s routine, and any guidelines you leave for me. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care and make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away!

About: I have many years of global house/pet sitting experience on other sites but am new to Rover. I will be back in the Seattle area from the beginning of October 2026 and will be house sitting until at least September 2027. I took care of 5 homes, 6 cats, indoor/outdoor plants, backyard and gardens July 2025. Mallorca, Spain. I sat for an amazing home with two large dogs, an extremely large orchard, a very large garden as well as a nursery. September 2025. Corfu, Greece. I sat for a 350 year old original Greek stone home with 8 cats, 2 dogs, a very large garden and exotic plants. November 2025-March 2026. Seattle, Washington. I sat for 7 homes, 3 very large dogs, 10 cats, indoor/outdoor plants as well as 2 large gardens. Confirmed, upcoming sits. July 2026. Estepona, Spain. 3 week sit for a large home. 2 dogs, 1 cat, very large orchard and garden. August 2026. Malaga, Spain. 2 week sit for 2 cats. 200 year old historical flat in the centre of Malaga. October 2026-September 2027 Seattle area. I already have 2 confirmed housesits and am currently interviewing for more. One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. About: I have two British cats of my own, a 7-year-old British Shorthair and a 3-year-old British Longhair. I’ve had both of them since they were just 2 months old, so I’m very comfortable caring for kittens and understanding their needs as they grow. I’ve also helped friends care for their cats while they were away, providing short-term care in their homes. This has given me experience with cats who have different personalities, routines, and needs. What sets me apart is my patience and attention to detail. I understand that some cats are social and playful, while others are shy or independent and need more time to feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow each cat’s individual routine and give them the space and attention they need. During each visit, I can take care of feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. I’ll also pay attention to their behavior and well-being and send you photos and updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away. I’ll care for your cats with the same patience, love, and attention I give my own. 🐱 I work part-time, so my schedule is very flexible and I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I can usually accommodate drop-in visits in the morning, afternoon, or evening, depending on your cat’s routine and needs. I’m happy to work around your schedule and make sure your cat receives consistent, attentive care while you’re away. I’ll always follow your instructions and keep you updated with photos and messages during my visits. I currently have two cats of my own, so I can accommodate up to one additional cat in my home at a time. I would make sure they have a safe, comfortable, and separate space to settle in, while carefully following their feeding and care routine. For drop-in visits at a client’s home, I focus on keeping the cat’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, spend time playing or keeping them company, and give them attention based on their personality and comfort level. I’ll always follow your specific instructions and treat your home and your cat with care and respect. I’ll also send photos and updates during each visit so you know how your cat is doing while you’re away.

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility!
