Over the years, I've fostered rescues, administered medications, and provided gentle post-surgery care. Every dog is unique. I am good at reading body language and adapting to different temperaments, from social pups to reactive ones. About: I’ve spent my whole life around animals and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including large-breed and reactive dogs. I’ve also been fostering since 2020, mostly kittens, so I’m comfortable with animals who need a little extra patience or time to warm up. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I do my best to make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my care. I’m attentive to their behavior, follow their usual routines, and take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet seriously. I’m currently in school to become a veterinary technician, so most of my weekdays are spent in class or studying. Most importantly, I’ll respect your home, your pet’s routine, and any guidelines you leave for me. About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility! I'm happy to accomodate based on your pet's needs and schedule. I would love to use my years of dog and cat handling experience to take your dog out to stretch its legs, hang out with your kitty and make sure their physical and emotional needs are fulfilled.

About: Hey there, I’m Alice! I have a 10 year old German Shepherd and spend a lot of time walking, exploring, and being outside with her. She’s definitely taught me a lot about caring for both large dogs and senior dogs. I’m responsive, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I’ll always treat your pup with the same care and attention I give my own. I’d love to take your dog out for a walk, let them sniff around, explore, and enjoy some fresh air :) I’m a yoga teacher, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m happy to work with you to find a routine that works best for your pup. I can also often accommodate same-day bookings when my schedule allows. I have a GSD at home, so for now I’m offering drop-in visits and dog walks rather than care in my own home or house sitting. During visits, I’m happy to take your pup for a walk, play with them, give them plenty of attention, and follow their usual routine as closely as possible. About: I've been around dogs and puppies since I was kid. My grandparents always had at least 1 dog in the house, so I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I've house-sat for many friends and family members, and have taken care of pets other than dogs such as cats, bunnies, hamsters, and frogs! I am currently unemployed so pet care is my full priority! I can be available for any type of care, from frequent walkers to laid-back sleepers. We have a fenced yard but unfortunately will not be able to house another pet at our home. In the client's home, I will be very diligent in watching the pet and don't plan to leave to and from the home often.
