About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. From docile Labs to energetic Boxers to retired Grey Hounds. I’ve personally owned a Border Aussie. I got her as a puppy, taught her to herd my chickens and trained her on verbal, visual and whistle commands. I am comfortable with all life stages and even with medical needs (had to rehab my herding dog through a TPLO surgery). I have no issues administering medication orally or subcutaneously. I work full time from home, my schedule is a little flexible. I typically don’t have mid day meetings which is where I’m looking to fill my lunch with a furry friend. I am off usually around 4/4:30 so my afternoons can be filled with furry friends as well! As pet parents we are all going to have different ways of managing our pets. I’m not here to rewrite rules, break routines or bend the rules because “the parents are gone”. I want your pet healthy and happy. I will treat them as my own. I will treat your home as my home.

“Presley is great with my dog and so easy to communicate with. Both times she’s been so amazing and been able to help me at the last minute. Would definitely recommend her services!”

About: As a former dog daycare employee in the Queen Anne/Magnolia area and a current volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter, I have plenty of experience with these loving animals, sometimes watching up to a few dozen of them at a time. I have lots of experience in pet sitting/walking friends and family dogs! I'm currently available most days, morning to evening. I’m a volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Regional Animal Shelter (King County) but only a few hours a week. I will make sure to keep this updated frequently. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I am always very considerate and have been trained to understand body language given from dogs. Especially on walks when there are other dogs/humans nearby, I will make sure to keep your dog at a safe distance to ensure the safety of everyone!
About: I’ve always lived with pets. My family always had small dogs (westies!), and in early adulthood with roommates I lived with a medium sized dog and multiple cats. Now it’s just me and my orange tabby cat (and I hope to have a dog again someday!). Outside of my home, I’ve watched my friends’ and families’ pets for years. I think pets are truly a part of the family and will treat your pets with love and care. Personally, I worry about my pet when she’s home alone, and I want to ease those worries for other pet parents! I work completely remotely with a fairly flexible schedule. I can almost always check on your pet morning, lunch/mid-day, and evenings. With enough notice, I can make other times during the day work as well. I don’t offer services to have your pets stay at my home. I have a small apartment, so it wouldn’t be ideal for the animals’ comfort.
About: i’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since i was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. i absolutely enjoy taking care of pets, i don’t look at this like a job, i look at this like im taking care of someone’s kid. i’m currently working part time so i have plenty to play and take care of the pets. my schedule is currently open and take care of them all through out the day. in my clients home i always have a eye on the pet and i make sure i give them plenty of love so there not sad. i also will walk them at least 4 times a day weather its short or long walks.
“Conner was great with my dog! He was super attentive, on time, sent me pics, and asked follow up questions if things were unclear. I highly recommend Conner and will book again!”

“Xiansi is wonderful! She took great care of Ringo and was very comfortable and confident walking him even though he can be a bit reactive on the leash. Will definitely book with her again!”

About: Hello! I’m a Queen Anne resident who knows that dogs are special members of each family. My experience caring for animals began with my own family's fur babies as far back as I can remember; frolicking with the dogs, cats, and horses on my grandparents' horse-rescue farm as a kid, snuggling with our dogs since primary school until the day I moved away for university, raising an energetic puppy during the pandemic, and being an enthusiastic pet-sitter for my friends and family. I'm dedicated to the happiness and safety of all animals. I provide reliable and responsible care and always strive to better understand their needs. Your loved one will be in good hands with someone who genuinely adores them and understands the balance between comfort, safety, play, and discipline. I can't wait to meet your dog! Warmly, Siena I work from home, so it is easy for me to step away from my desk in the middle of the morning, afternoon, or evening for a walk or hang-out with your pup. I am willing to be flexible on weekends, too! I treat each client's space with utmost care, respect, cleanliness, and professionalism. I am attuned to the responsibility of ensuring that spaces are safely secured for your pet and others. I am also happy to help with any other tasks like watering plants or bringing in packages!
“Natalee did a great job with my dog who is timid and reluctant around new people. By the end of the time, he was sitting on her lap! Thanks, Natalee for your great instincts and patience.”

About: Jacob and I have been caring for dogs for many years. We helped train our parents dogs and started dog sitting for friends before joining Rover. We joined Rover in January to help pay for our wedding and have absolutely loved it. There is pretty much always a dog in our apartment. We also have a car in case of emergencies as well! Jacob works from home so he is home all day. I am gone most of the day for work and neither of us work on weekends. We have a small but spacious apartment that would be perfect for smaller dogs to run around in. We also live in a very walkable area.

“Ponyo was very communicative and was available for literally a last second walk. She was flexible and sent great photos which gave piece of mind. Thank you so much Ponyo, you were amazing!”

About: I grew up with two Cocker Spaniels, so caring for dogs has always been part of my daily life. From walks and playtime to feeding and grooming, I’ve been hands-on from an early age. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs who love activity, as well as pups who just want companionship and consistency. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on creating a safe, structured environment where dogs feel secure and happy. Whether it’s a long walk, play session, or just relaxing time at home, I make sure each dog gets the attention and care they need. I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. That allows me to easily plan around walks, feeding times, and play. I stay active and structured in my day, so pets get consistent attention and care and always feel safe and comfortable. I care for pets with patience and consistency, making sure their daily routine stays familiar and stress-free. I’m respectful of your home, mindful of safety, and attentive to any special needs. You can expect regular communication and updates throughout the stay.
About: I’m an animal lover at heart and believe I have a great intuition when it comes to an animal’s needs or emotions. I know our pets can’t truly speak for themselves, so I try my best to pay attention to their body language and the various noises they make. I truly just want to give animals the care and love they deserve. I was recently laid off from my weekday 9-5 and don’t have anything else currently lined up. Because of that, I have a lot of flexibility throughout my day and weeks. I pay a lot of attention to your pets when I am with them, whether that’s just being mindful of where they are and what they are doing, or petting them and giving them affection. If there are areas within the house where the pets are not allowed, I honor that, and I also make sure all doors to the outside are properly secured.
“I highly recommend Emily for anyone who needs a dog walker! My dog warmed up to her so quickly, and Emily was great at communicating and giving my dog lots of attention!”

“Absolutely 5 stars. Katherine was the perfect pet sitter while we were out of town for 9 days. She took great care of both our cat and our senior dog (walks, food, water, medications, litterbox, and even tug-of-war). Not to mention a great photographer—the pictures of our furbabies she sent us were pretty brilliant. When our flight was delayed 5 hours Katherine was in close contact and it was easy to add on an additional walk to the booking.”

About: I am a lover of all animals and especially cats and dogs. I have experience with dogs and would love to take care of your beloved pet! Whatever needs you have for your special friend I can be of service. I love the outdoors so if he/she needs exercise you can count on me to provide a fun time. As of yet I have not cared for dogs professionally but look forward for the opportunity! Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
“Quinnie has been fantastic! Our Akita is very picky but bonded with Quinnie immediately. And Quinnie has been responsive, punctual, professional, and super-easy to work with. Highly recommended!”

About: I've pet sat for friends and family members for years. Just show and tell me how to care for your extended family members and I assure you I can and will do it. I love getting to know the individual personalities of pets and bonding with them. Being a cat owner myself, I understand the trust it takes to allow someone new into your life and home to care for your pet when you're away. I like to take my time getting to know a pet and their owner(s) so we can establish a solid bond. I am currently working part time so I have lots of free time to offer towards caring for your pet(s) and whatever else you may require from extra help. Currently I can drop in for visits twice a day to provide feedings, water, play time, and or dog walk twice a day. Cats too! Each pet owner is different so I really go off of instructions from the pet owner for how to best care for their pets while they’re away.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Queen Anne is $25
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Queen Anne
Rayan was an excellent choice to take care of my boxer while I was away. He was very attentive and paid attention to every detail. He was always on time and did a great job managing my dog, who can definitely be a handful. He also handled unexpected situations that came up very well. I felt confident knowing my dog was in good hands and would definitely recommend Rayan.

Roman was very comfortable with my reactive dog and very professional. It was my first time using Rover and I felt very at ease with how he communicated and just seemed so experienced with different dogs and behaviors. Definitely would be happy to hire him again.
