Maria was exceptionally responsive and flexible with timing. She sent plenty of photos/videos/updates during our short weekend trip that truly set our minds at ease. Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. She even took Piper out to a cafe in a stroller for enrichment since she physically can't walk far on her own! Considering my partner has experience petsitting for over two decades and I worry (perhaps too much) about the care my dog will receive while I'm away, we were both impressed with Maria and would gladly hire her again to take care of Piper.”

“Davis was fantastic with our dog, a 75 lb mixed breed. She is very anxious when we leave her with a sitter. She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since a was young and love being around them! I’ve also trained a few of my family’s puppies. My older dog recently crossed the rainbow bridge, so I have extra snuggles to give your dog! I am used to potty accidents or dribbles in the house after having an older dog. I currently work 12 hr shifts at UWMC so I have blocks of days off depending on my schedule. My husband works from home and was previously taking care of our chihuahua when I was at work, I love playing fetch at the dog park and going on walks. If your dog wants to stay the night, no problem! I have extra dog beds and toys to make your dog comfortable, except for rawhide or other bones. Dogs are allowed on the couch and can sleep at the end of the my bed. I’m also able to give your dog any medication or special diet if necessary.

I do not leave dogs unsupervised at home alone with the exception of a quick grocery store trip. I want to make sure you feel comfortable with leaving your pups in a safe and loving environment. I am a stay at home dog dad who has availability for a limited number of dogs per day. I focus on making sure the dogs have ample playtime during the day and lots of one on one snuggles if they stay overnight. We go for multiple walks per day and try to get at least one. run to the dog park so that the dogs can burn energy. Our boxer loves to play ball, and is especially friendly when playing ball with a group. I have a frenchie and a small boxer at home who are well socialized and super playful. I have a back yard play area that we can play ball in, run zoomies, or lay in sunbeams. We have a wonderful neighborhood for walking with a number of cool sites to stop and have a sniff. There is a treat dispenser at a house (like a mailbox) along our most often walked routed. We also have a number of dog parks within 10 minutes drive. I have a new quad cab Tacoma and a cx5 for hauling pups in.

About: I’ve always lived with pets. My family always had small dogs (westies!), and in early adulthood with roommates I lived with a medium sized dog and multiple cats. Now it’s just me and my orange tabby cat (and I hope to have a dog again someday!). Outside of my home, I’ve watched my friends’ and families’ pets for years. I think pets are truly a part of the family and will treat your pets with love and care. Personally, I worry about my pet when she’s home alone, and I want to ease those worries for other pet parents! I work completely remotely with a fairly flexible schedule. I can almost always check on your pet morning, lunch/mid-day, and evenings. With enough notice, I can make other times during the day work as well. I don’t offer services to have your pets stay at my home. I have a small apartment, so it wouldn’t be ideal for the animals’ comfort.

About: Jacob and I have been caring for dogs for many years. We helped train our parents dogs and started dog sitting for friends before joining Rover. She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”
“Peter was the best dog sitter I could have found for my pup. Luke is 14 yo, so leaving him with someone isn’t always easy. Peter made the whole process incredibly smooth and friendly, and he made Luke feel right at home. He even took him on little adventures with Nova, while being very mindful of Luke’s needs and limits. Not only did he make Luke feel like part of his pack, but he also gave me great peace of mind with daily updates and photos where I could clearly see that Luke (even though he probably missed me) couldn’t have been in better hands. I’m especially grateful to Peter because when my return travel plans got complicated and the schedule didn’t quite line up, he was extremely flexible and helped me so much, making sure Luke got home safe and sound. Without a doubt, he will be my go-to person to take care of Luke the next time I have to travel.”
“Samantha was absolutely wonderful taking care of Teddy. Teddy had lots of fun playing with Samantha, meeting her friends and taking very long walks with her! Samantha was so patient with Teddy when he was first nervous. She sent me consistent updates on Teddy & each time, it looked like he was having a blast. In fact, after she took care of Teddy, Teddy & I ran into her on a walk and he was soooo excited to see her again. Definitely recommend Samantha - she was kind, responsive, and made Teddy feel right at home in her place.”
“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”
“Babu stayed with Jennifer and Ken for the second time. What’s best about them is that they are both passionate about dog care and equally experienced with dogs. This gives me a great peace of mind. They shared a ton of pics and videos of Babu playing and then dozing off exhausted from the fun. I am grateful he got that attention, time and care from them and they went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of just as their own dog, who Babu gets along with super well. I am super comfortable with them. Will book again for sure.”
