“Michael was an amazing sitter for my dog and communicator for me!! We had a last minute schedule change and were traveling to Seattle unexpectedly. Michael was so helpful and accommodating to make this work with less notice than usual! He was prompt and communicative sending me pictures of Sox updates along the way. His dog Ellie was very chill and seemed to get along with Sox great. I definitely would (and will!) work with Michael again!”

“We did boarding for our dog Marcel at Ana's home, and she and her family were fantastic caretakers. Ana was communicative, timely, and conscientious - from planning outings to make sure Marcel got the exercise and attention he needs, to sharing regular photo updates on how he was doing during his stay. Would highly recommend!”

“Danielle did an outstanding job with drop-in visits with my two older cats while I was away, covering all my instructions with no problem and including playtime with amazing photos! She was great about touching base with me daily and sharing the awesome photos as well. She also did a great job keeping things tidy. I highly recommend her!”
“Sami went above and beyond to give our cats the best care possible. She helped take care of small extra tasks like watering the plants and checking the mailbox which was really helpful since we were gone for a whole month, and when one of our cats started scratching himself excessively, she helped us troubleshoot what might be wrong and started feeding him wet food daily which really helped him a lot. She always sent pictures of the litter box, water and kitties in the check-ins which really helped ease my mind that all was well so I could fully enjoy my vacation. Thank you so much Sami!”

“So grateful to have found Katelyn! I have two kitties at home that needed someone reliable who was good with both an outgoing personality and an anxious one. Katelyn responded to my request and even offered to meet in-person — she’s friendly, easy to talk to, and a strong communicator. What I appreciate the most about Katelyn is that she is super attentive and remembers details (down to the bowl color!). During my days away, I was able to see check-ins complete with a short summary of how the cats were doing that day and handfuls of pictures; I had told Katelyn that I was worried my girl cat (the anxious one) would have trouble eating and she thoughtfully sent me pictures of Carrot eating every day. I can go on and on about how great this experience with Katelyn is, but I’ll end with… I came home after a 6 hour flight to find the apartment spotless and the kitties happy — just a dream. You’re lucky if you get Katelyn to sit for you!”

“Abby was awesome! She dropped in to take care of our two cats. She was a really good communicator and took lots of pictures. Our cats seemed to warm up to her right away! Abby also did great giving one of our cats his inhaler. We will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Olivia is attentive, professional, punctual, and most importantly, super sweet to my cats! She had no problem giving seizure meds to my epileptic cat and understood the importance of the precise medication schedule we keep for her. I look forward to booking pet care services with Olivia in the future.”

“Kim was very quick to reply. Followed all instructions to the T. Sent numerous photos and communications while dropping in to take care of my cat. She went above and beyond to clean up a few areas. Would definitely use her services again! Thanks so much Kim!”

“From our first initial contact I could tell Conner was thorough, attentive, and caring. He asked great questions that a sitter had never asked before. We felt confident that is something terrible were to happen when we were gone, our cats would be in good hands. Our cats seemed to warm up to him quickly which is impressive for them. Conner was also very flexible and understanding about key drop off when our building had an unexpected issue.”

“Eleanor took excellent care of my fur babes while I was out of town. She was very communicative, attentive to details, and gave my two kitties lots of love while I was away. It was so nice to come home knowing they were left in good hands :) I will definitely book with Eleanor again.”

“Corinne was great! She followed all the instructions that I left and took great care of my cats while I was away. She was also great with communication. Will definitely use her again!”

“Ponyo is amazing! We love having a sitter for Winston that we can trust. She gives detailed updates and sends pictures at every check-in. Highly recommend!”

“Ana is extremely reliable, personable and a great communicator. I rested well while I was out of town knowing she was taking care of my cat Sybil. I highly recommend her.”

“Elena provided great communication and photos of my kitties, putting me at ease while I was away. She made sure to ask questions to get every detail right for their kidney disease support needs. Would love to have her take care of them again!”

About: I have had a cat or lived with a cat for the majority of my life. I’ve owned both indoor and outdoor cats. I have had cats in all stages of life. I currently own a senior Tortie who has both eyes removed. If your kitty has special needs I am comfortable handling medications both oral and subcutaneous.

“My two cats had a great experience with our sitter, Presley! She took amazing care of the girls, was reliable, communicative, and clearly treated them with so much love and attention. I felt completely at ease. I would absolutely recommend her and would happily book with her again! Thanks Presley!!!”

About: I've pet sat for friends and family members for years. Just show and tell me how to care for your extended family members and I assure you I can and will do it. I love getting to know the individual personalities of pets and bonding with them. Being a cat owner myself, I understand the trust it takes to allow someone new into your life and home to care for your pet when you're away. I like to take my time getting to know a pet and their owner(s) so we can establish a solid bond. I am currently working part time so I have lots of free time to offer towards caring for your pet(s) and whatever else you may require from extra help. Currently I can drop in for visits twice a day to provide feedings, water, play time, and or dog walk twice a day. Cats too! Each pet owner is different so I really go off of instructions from the pet owner for how to best care for their pets while they’re away.

“Felix has worked so diligently with our Tony and his patience has been such a breath of fresh air. He understands our dogs breed so well and really gets to the root of training so Tony can be the best dog he can be! Felix will continue to be a long term friend and go to for anything Tony wise. Thank you, Felix!”

“Mariia did a lovely job watching our dog. She is such a professional - asks all the right questions, communicates well, and provides a great experience for the pup. We were very happy to have her look after the big guy for an afternoon and were really pleased! We highly recommend her.”

“Our little old dog Rocket just spent her first day at Jill & Jacob’s place. They sent several photos and it was clear she was happy and well cared for. I see lots of visits in her future!8”

About: I got my first pup when I turned 11 and have cared for them ever since, going on 14 years of owning a pet. Both dogs and cats! I enjoy interacting with pets and making them feel special on walkies or just hanging out with them. I currently run a small business so I am able to set my own hours and attend to other things such as walking or caring for your pet. I have a fenced in yard and three fur children in my household. Two dogs and a cat. I can also crate if needed for your pet.
“Devan was awesome! Great communication and a natural at connecting with dogs and keeping them engaged. Benji did not want to leave! We hope to see Devan again!”

“I've recently relocated to Seattle for work, and while waiting for my residence to become available, I needed assistance with watching my dog, Fat Boi, during business hours. I connected with Keith, and he's been such a great help! Fat Boi is shy and very attached to me, he's prone to getting a little depressed when we aren't together, but Keith helps to enrich his days and gives him some extra socialization. Fat Boi gets to people watch out from the balcony, and go on walks to see the water, and enjoys some great snacks while hanging out with Keith! I'm grateful that he's been there to look after Fat Boi and give him attention while I'm at work. I'm a long way from home, and so is Fat Boi, and it's one less source of stress in this huge transition to have the peace of mind that my little fuzzy guy is being thoughtfully taken care of until we are reunited at the end of the day.”

“we had a great experience with eric! He watched our two pups for daycare and was incredibly communicative throughout the day—sending lots of photo updates and checking in often. One of my dogs is usually very fearful of new people, but he was patient and kind, and she warmed up to him quickly. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We highly recommend eric !”

“Erica gave us the confidence to leave Mookie for the afternoon so we could go enjoy a baseball game. He is with us 100% of the time so it was a big deal to have him with a sitter. Communication was excellent, as we received updates and pics throughout the day. Her place of residence was perfect for the pups. This was an all-around positive experience. We are grateful. Thanks Erica!”

“My pup, Peeka who suffers from separation anxiety spent her first doggy day care with Cathy yesterday and it went well. Cathy suggested we do a meet and greet before the actual day which was kind of her. Cathy was patient with Peeka and calmed her down after I initially left. She kept me informed during the day which made it easy for me. Thank you!”

About: I simply love dogs! With over 15 years of dog sitting experience, over 8 years of having my own dogs, multiple years of animal rescue experience, I will treat your dogs like they are my own. I’m passionate about older dogs and my two dogs Willie and Lucy love having dog friends around. My goal is to dog sit at my place. I’m able to walk, feed, play, medicate, and give lots of snuggles. My schedule is very flexible! Please let me know if you need any help scheduling. I prefer to do a meet and greet before and usually host it at my place. Let me know if that works for you! I have two lovable and friendly dogs that would love another pal to sit by the front window with. We have a big couch, lots of dog beds, toys, and treats!

“Pablo and Patricia were amazing! They were able to watch Bear on very short notice, were super kind and communicative, and took great care of him. I really appreciate them helping out last minute. Thank you both!”

“Andy is so amazing! She is always so positive when she greets me at pick up and drop off. She was able to start watching my dog Obi on a short notice when my pet care method changed suddenly. She was accommodating and flexible with the hours based on my needs. She informs me of any changes in his health or behavior. She also tried multiple methods to make my anxious pup more comfortable with his separation anxiety. My dog absolutely loves her and I am so happy that I have her as a resource for my pet care needs. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: Dogs are family here—always have been. I live right across from a 9-acre park and spend about two hours there every day with my own dog, rain or shine (for the past 11 years). If your dog loves being outside, they’ll get real exercise—not just a quick walk around the block. At home, dogs are treated like they should be—on the couch, on the bed, wherever they’re comfortable. Lots of attention, affection, and a calm, consistent environment. I’ve spent a lifetime around dogs of all ages and temperaments and have a very natural read on their behavior—call it instinct, call it being an animal person, but it matters. I’m also experienced administering medications—oral, injections, ear treatments—we’ve done it all over the years. If your dog wants to run, relax, or just be around someone who genuinely gets them, they’ll fit right in here. Pet care is already built into my daily routine—it’s what my days revolve around. I’m out at the park for a couple of hours every day with my own dog, rain or shine, so adding another dog to that rhythm is seamless. My schedule is wide open and flexible, which means I’m available full-time for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or boarding—at your home, my home, or out at the park. I’m not trying to fit this in around another job—this is my focus, so your dog gets consistent time, attention, and care. My dog would love the company if yours enjoys being social, but if your dog is more of a lone wolf, that’s completely fine too—I’m happy to tailor the environment to whatever makes them most comfortable. I keep things simple, consistent, and centered around what each dog needs. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family—free to relax on the couch or bed, with plenty of attention and a calm, comfortable environment. We stick to their usual routines as much as possible (feeding, walks, meds), and they get daily outdoor time with real exercise and fresh air. I live right across from a large park, but park choice is always flexible—if your dog has a favorite spot, I’m happy to take them there. My dog is friendly and enjoys company, but I can also create a quieter, separate environment if your dog prefers to do their own thing. In a client’s home, I follow your routine as closely as possible so your dog feels secure in their own space. That includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (oral, injections, ear treatments), and any specific instructions you have. Walk locations are always tailored to your dog’s preferences and comfort. Whether it’s a walk, a stay, or a drop-in, the goal is always the same: your dog gets real attention, real exercise, and doesn’t feel alone.
“Ana was very understanding and flexible with my schedule, sent lots of happy updates and fun pictures of my very shy guy, Xavi, looking happy and comfortable. Ana and her family did a wonderful job with my dog who is very nervous with new people. It was a huge relief to see him doing so well. I definitely plan to have her watch Xavi again!”

“Zoe’s great! Our young pup enjoyed playing with Zoe’s dog, long walks, frequent potty breaks, cuddles and naps. We loved the videos/updates and mapped walks. Drop off and pick up was quick and easy too. We’ll definitely bring Piper back when our schedules get hectic again.”

“Emily was wonderful and took great care of Cooper and took him for an hour long walk and kept me updated with pictures and messages so that I could be sure things were going smoothly! I would highly recommend her.”

“5/5 stay! Our “difficult” puppy who likes to bite had a wonderful time. Travers sent updates throughout the day and it looked like they were having a blast. Would book again.”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Queen Anne

About: Hello! I’m a Queen Anne resident who knows that dogs are special members of each family. My experience caring for animals began with my own family's fur babies as far back as I can remember; frolicking with the dogs, cats, and horses on my grandparents' horse-rescue farm as a kid, snuggling with our dogs since primary school until the day I moved away for university, raising an energetic puppy during the pandemic, and being an enthusiastic pet-sitter for my friends and family. I'm dedicated to the happiness and safety of all animals. I provide reliable and responsible care and always strive to better understand their needs. Your loved one will be in good hands with someone who genuinely adores them and understands the balance between comfort, safety, play, and discipline. I can't wait to meet your dog! Warmly, Siena I work from home, so it is easy for me to step away from my desk in the middle of the morning, afternoon, or evening for a walk or hang-out with your pup. I am willing to be flexible on weekends, too! I treat each client's space with utmost care, respect, cleanliness, and professionalism. I am attuned to the responsibility of ensuring that spaces are safely secured for your pet and others. I am also happy to help with any other tasks like watering plants or bringing in packages!
“Ana really saved us with a last minute booking! She did an incredible job with our chaotic golden retriever puppy and was a true expert with her. She sent the most thoughtful pictures while I was at work and was so communicative. We'll absolutely be booking with her again- thank you so much Ana!”

“I highly recommend Emily for anyone who needs a dog walker! My dog warmed up to her so quickly, and Emily was great at communicating and giving my dog lots of attention!”

“Always so willing to help at the last minute to get my big guy out for a walk. Incredibly flexible and Rook is always so excited when I tell him that she is coming!”

“Xiansi is wonderful! She took great care of Ringo and was very comfortable and confident walking him even though he can be a bit reactive on the leash. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Conner was great with my dog! He was super attentive, on time, sent me pics, and asked follow up questions if things were unclear. I highly recommend Conner and will book again!”

“Ori is so kind and patient with our very timid King Charles cavalier. She is a total homebody, but he convinces her to continue walks, so she still gets some exercise.”

About: As a former dog daycare employee in the Queen Anne/Magnolia area and a current volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter, I have plenty of experience with these loving animals, sometimes watching up to a few dozen of them at a time. I have lots of experience in pet sitting/walking friends and family dogs! I'm currently available most days, morning to evening. I’m a volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Regional Animal Shelter (King County) but only a few hours a week. I will make sure to keep this updated frequently. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I am always very considerate and have been trained to understand body language given from dogs. Especially on walks when there are other dogs/humans nearby, I will make sure to keep your dog at a safe distance to ensure the safety of everyone!
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. From docile Labs to energetic Boxers to retired Grey Hounds. I’ve personally owned a Border Aussie. I got her as a puppy, taught her to herd my chickens and trained her on verbal, visual and whistle commands. I am comfortable with all life stages and even with medical needs (had to rehab my herding dog through a TPLO surgery). I have no issues administering medication orally or subcutaneously. I work full time from home, my schedule is a little flexible. I typically don’t have mid day meetings which is where I’m looking to fill my lunch with a furry friend. I am off usually around 4/4:30 so my afternoons can be filled with furry friends as well! As pet parents we are all going to have different ways of managing our pets. I’m not here to rewrite rules, break routines or bend the rules because “the parents are gone”. I want your pet healthy and happy. I will treat them as my own. I will treat your home as my home.
“Elena went above and beyond to take care of our dog Caiya! She met us the day before she took her for a walk since it was our first time using rover!! The day of the walk went so smoothly and she was super communicative and Caiya had a great time! She sent photos and gave frequent updates. Definitely recommend having Elena watch you dog and I will be booking with her again! 😊”

About: I’ve always lived with pets. My family always had small dogs (westies!), and in early adulthood with roommates I lived with a medium sized dog and multiple cats. Now it’s just me and my orange tabby cat (and I hope to have a dog again someday!). Outside of my home, I’ve watched my friends’ and families’ pets for years. I think pets are truly a part of the family and will treat your pets with love and care. Personally, I worry about my pet when she’s home alone, and I want to ease those worries for other pet parents! I work completely remotely with a fairly flexible schedule. I can almost always check on your pet morning, lunch/mid-day, and evenings. With enough notice, I can make other times during the day work as well. I don’t offer services to have your pets stay at my home. I have a small apartment, so it wouldn’t be ideal for the animals’ comfort.
About: i’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since i was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. i absolutely enjoy taking care of pets, i don’t look at this like a job, i look at this like im taking care of someone’s kid. i’m currently working part time so i have plenty to play and take care of the pets. my schedule is currently open and take care of them all through out the day. in my clients home i always have a eye on the pet and i make sure i give them plenty of love so there not sad. i also will walk them at least 4 times a day weather its short or long walks.

“Presley is great with my dog and so easy to communicate with. Both times she’s been so amazing and been able to help me at the last minute. Would definitely recommend her services!”

As of yet I have not cared for dogs professionally but look forward for the opportunity! Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
About: Jacob and I have been caring for dogs for many years. We helped train our parents dogs and started dog sitting for friends before joining Rover. We joined Rover in January to help pay for our wedding and have absolutely loved it. There is pretty much always a dog in our apartment. We also have a car in case of emergencies as well! Jacob works from home so he is home all day. I am gone most of the day for work and neither of us work on weekends. We have a small but spacious apartment that would be perfect for smaller dogs to run around in. We also live in a very walkable area.
About: I grew up with two Cocker Spaniels, so caring for dogs has always been part of my daily life. From walks and playtime to feeding and grooming, I’ve been hands-on from an early age. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs who love activity, as well as pups who just want companionship and consistency. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on creating a safe, structured environment where dogs feel secure and happy. Whether it’s a long walk, play session, or just relaxing time at home, I make sure each dog gets the attention and care they need. I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. That allows me to easily plan around walks, feeding times, and play. I stay active and structured in my day, so pets get consistent attention and care and always feel safe and comfortable. I care for pets with patience and consistency, making sure their daily routine stays familiar and stress-free. I’m respectful of your home, mindful of safety, and attentive to any special needs. You can expect regular communication and updates throughout the stay.
“Quinnie has been fantastic! Our Akita is very picky but bonded with Quinnie immediately. And Quinnie has been responsive, punctual, professional, and super-easy to work with. Highly recommended!”

About: I've always been a huge animal person and honestly can't wait for the day I have my own pet full-time. Until then, sitting is the perfect way to get my fix and make some furry friends along the way! I'm an avid walker and would love a buddy to bring along, whether that's a long stroll around the neighborhood or a quick loop to burn off some energy. I grew up around dogs and cats and have looked after all kinds over the years, from geriatric dogs to multi-pet households, including pets on special diets and medication schedules. I'm careful about keeping feeding times, meds, and routines consistent, so nothing feels disrupted while you're away. I work from home, so your pet gets real company, and my building has a dog area right there, so potty breaks and outdoor time happen easily throughout the day. I love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pet is happy and having fun, and I always respond quickly to messages. I take it personally when a pet has a great stay with me. Feel free to reach out or request a meet-and-greet, I'd love to meet you both! I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine rather than being squeezed into gaps. I'm available for boarding pretty much anytime, any day of the week, since I'm home all day. That means your pet gets consistent attention, regular breaks, and company throughout the day instead of long stretches alone. I'm also an avid walker, so daily walks are a given, not an afterthought. I live alone in an apartment, so your pet gets a calm, quiet space without other pets or a lot of foot traffic to compete with for attention. My building has a shared outdoor dog area right on site, so potty breaks and outdoor time are easy and frequent throughout the day, not something that requires a big production to arrange.
