About: I've been watching friends and neighbors pets casually for the past 5 years or so. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. I have the most experience with cats--feeding them medicine, special foods, scooping liter boxes of all shapes and sizes, and dialing in on their favorite toys. I have experience caring for dogs (walks, feeding, belly rubs, poop wrangling) but if the dog is high stress or has behavioral issues it would be best to go with a more experienced dog person--want to be transparent about that, it's best for everyone. I have a flexible 9-5 work schedule and can pop in to visit pets in the Eastlake neighborhood Tuesday-Fridays. My weekends are also quite flexible to visit pets or stay overnight with pets in North Capitol Hill. I closely follow the rules and guidelines set up by the pet owners when I care for an animal. The safety and comfort of the pet is my utmost concern. I love animals and I want them to feel that they are in the care of a trustworthy person while their people are away. I am happy to communicate with pet owners and much as needed.

About: I've had rabbits for the last decade, so I am thoroughly experienced in small animal care. I have supported friends and family by dog-sitting for about the same amount of time. It the 4 years, I've been able to provide housemates and friends with dedicated care for their feline friends. My overall experience includes, walks, feeding, changing litter, overnight sitting, and playtime. I also feel comfortable caring for more than one animal at a time. I care for my own rabbit daily giving food, water, exercise, and enrichment time. I want to provide the same care to your pet. I do walking trails almost everyday and I recently lost my fur family member of 16 years, so my walks need a companion. My dog is incredibly friendly (we used to live with two other dogs) and he loves to have play dates or sleepovers with fellow furry friends. If your pup ever needs a friend, he’s here :) If you’d like in-home care for your pet, I’m happy to do so as well! In these cases, my partner takes care of our dog at our home and does not need to come along.
