About: I took care of my family dog for 14 years up until last year when he passed away. I am looking to spend more time with dogs and love being around animals, so would love to help in any way I can - whether that's going on walks or pet / house sitting. My job is very flexible so I am available most times during the week and any times on the weekends. I can work around most schedules. I am respectful to any rules the owners set out ahead of time, and will only be in the pet's space as much as the owners would prefer.

About: I've had rabbits for the last decade, so I am thoroughly experienced in small animal care. I have supported friends and family by dog-sitting for about the same amount of time. It the 4 years, I've been able to provide housemates and friends with dedicated care for their feline friends. My overall experience includes, walks, feeding, changing litter, overnight sitting, and playtime. I also feel comfortable caring for more than one animal at a time. I care for my own rabbit daily giving food, water, exercise, and enrichment time. I want to provide the same care to your pet. I have my weekends reserved for pet care of others' animals and find time for the weekly tasks that support my own rabbit during the week. I always review instructions that are left regarding the needs of pets. I appreciate clear communication and I will go above an beyond to make sure your pet has whatever they need. About: I rescued my dog Nina in 2017 after pet-sitting professionally through Rover for two years. I have experience with basic care, such as walking, feeding, medication administration, enforcing training and keeping dogs active. I am an attorney, currently self-employed and working from home, so I am available for all your pet's needs! Typically, I walk my dog in the morning and evening, with a potty-break or two scheduled in between walks. On occasion, we'll do a midday adventure at Greenlake or Discovery Park. About: I grew up with cats and dogs and excited to help take care of yours. I work for Rover corporate full time so you know your in great hands! Looking forward to working with you! I work remotely most days and have a dog friendly office the others. I’m in a smoke free home with a patio and easy access to parks for walking and getting on some real grass. I enjoy the outdoors but can enjoy a cozy evening as well. Happy to support your animas where they feel the best! I have a back patio where your animals will have easy access. I can crate your animals if needed. I live in a smoke and drug free home without roommates so all my attention will be towards your furry friend.

About: Most sitters are dog people who also take cats. I'm the other way around. My first cat was Peelu, named for the yellow spots he had, and I've been around cats ever since. Four years of sitting has taught me that every cat runs on its own system, and my job is to figure out yours quickly and then stay out of its way. Some cats want you to leave the room before they'll touch their food. Some need about ten minutes of being politely ignored before they'll come out from under the bed. Some will tell you very clearly that the water bowl is six inches from where it should be. I pay attention to that stuff. I'm comfortable with medication schedules, litter boxes, and shy cats who hide for the entire first visit. You'll get photo updates every time, including the ones where your cat looks deeply unimpressed with me. I do drop-ins and house-sitting around North Capitol Hill, so I'm usually a short walk away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can do drop-ins in the morning, midday, and evening without rushing. Weekday middays are wide open, which is usually the hardest slot for owners to fill. I'm also around most weekends. For housesitting, I'm out of the apartment part of the day but home most evenings and overnight, so your cat gets company at the hours that matter most to them. I keep my Rover calendar current and I'll tell you upfront if I can't make a schedule work, rather than saying yes and figuring it out later. I only care for cats in their own home, which is where cats do best. A new environment stresses most of them out more than a few hours alone does, so I come to them. Drop-ins: I follow whatever routine you already have rather than inventing my own. Fresh food and water, litter scooped every visit, medications on schedule, and play or lap time depending on what your cat is actually in the mood for. I check doors and windows before I leave every single time, and I keep an eye on the things that tell you a cat is off: appetite, litter box output, hiding more than usual, any limping or discharge. If something seems wrong, you hear from me right away rather than at the end of the week. Housesitting: Same routine, plus I'm there overnight. I'll bring in mail and packages, alternate a few lights, and generally keep the place looking lived in. I treat your home like a place I'm a guest in, not a place I'm staying at. No guests, and I leave it the way I found it. Before the first booking I'll ask for your vet's info, an emergency contact, where the carrier is, and anything specific I should know: escape artists, cats who bolt for the door, food aggression between housemates, or a cat who needs to be left alone more than most.

About: I love all animals like they’re my own! After volunteering for years with Guiding Eyes for the Blind in NY as a kennel assistant, puppy socializer, and dog groomer, I have found a passion for pet care! I have experience watching and caring for dogs, cats, birds, and small critters such as guinea pigs. I currently have my own beagle, but love to care for other pets too! I’m currently a graduate student with a part-time job. I have a pup of my own and love caring for other animals when given the chance! I’m excited to take care of pet’s in their own home by ensuring they are well fed and have enough water before leaving, keeping all doors and windows the same way I found them, and cleaning any messes made. For dog walking, I will keep the dog on a leash at all times and be able to keep up at any pace for the duration of the walk! Even running!

About: Hi! I love cats and have a sweet 2.5 year old tabby boy of my own. I will give your kitties pets and kisses or leave them alone and feed them if that's what they desire:p Grew up with a dog, 3 cats, and 2 ferrets. Various pet sitting and check-ins throughout the the years! I'm a psychotherapist and bartend at Duke's Seafood. I work about 25hrs a week- so I have a good amount of free hours to come visit your bb(s). I love driving, so happy to bop around town and drop in at different times of the day:) My own kitty is indoor/outdoor, so I have experience with both arrangements. He's had a few minor medical issues where I've had to give him meds- so I feel comfortable giving meds to other pets if needed!

My schedule allows pet sitting before 7:30 AM and after 6:00 PM on weekdays, with open availability on weekends for extra attention, playtime and care. I respect the home, provide regular updates, and make sure everything is clean and secure when I leave. About: I’m someone that’s great with dogs. One of my favorite dogs I’ve looked out for is a pit bull and my experience with such dog makes me unique. I’m looking to make my runs more interesting and tagging along a dog on my runs will make it more of a fun experience for me. I enjoy being around dogs and soon I’m looking to have my own. With this experience I’ll gain more knowledge about different types of dogs which would make my process easier when it comes time for me to decide what dog id want to own in the long run.
