About: Hello! I'm Shelby. I live with my dog, Maggie, and my cat, Neko (both senior gals), but I still gasp audibly every time I see an animal in the street. I know how scary it can be to be away from your pets, especially if you have to leave them with someone you don't know. I also know how important it can be to leave them with someone you really trust. I promise I'll take care of your babies like they are my own - and I'd love to send you a bajillion pictures of their adorable little faces, too. Rover is my full-time job at the moment! Please check my calendar to see what days I am available for walks, boarding, and other services. I live in an apartment in an older home in the Central District with a fenced yard. Please note I have an elderly cat and dog who are both friendly with other animals but fairly low-energy. My animals have mostly free reign of the apartment - they're allowed on the couches, beds, etc, but I try to keep my dog from going into the bathroom so she doesn't get into my cat's litter or food. As a house- and pet-sitter, I aim to treat your space and your animals the way you would - with respect, love, and care.

About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking for family, friends, and people in my community for over five years. I first started walking dogs as a summer job when I was 15, and over the years it has grown into a genuine passion. I have cared for a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, including seniors who need a little extra patience and love. As the longtime owner of a chihuahua mix who recently passed after 17 wonderful years, I deeply understand the importance of quality time and special care during a dog’s golden years. Beyond dogs, I’ve also been trusted to look after cats and even exotic pets, building lasting relationships with pet parents in both Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m currently a part-time student, which means I have plenty of flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pets. I’m available for house sitting Wednesday through Sunday, and on most weekdays I only have classes from 10am–2pm, leaving mornings, afternoons, and evenings open for your pets. My weekends are generally open as well. I’m happy to provide care for your pet in your home or secure yard. Please share any health needs, routines, or behavioral quirks so I can give your pet the best possible care and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
