“Lovely people, good care. Both Rachid and Ruth are very pleasant to connect with and they were great about ensuring they knew the lay of the land for the sit. Ruth was the one did the sit, staying overnight and working from the house during the day. When she came to drop off the key, Roo came running into to the room to say hello, followed soon by Zoe so Ruth and cats had obviously connected (Leo is more independent, so his absence is not an indicator). Ruth accommodated a somewhat complicated sit. Roo, who was just joining the family, was in the living room apart from the other two cats. This meant working during the day while hanging out with Roo and also hanging out with the other cats in the evening and sleeping with them. She dealt with a number of dead rats, courtesy of lethal Leo who often does nightly neighborhood hunts. Ruth also sent pics and let us know what was going on (e.g. racoon in the yard) Everything was clean and tidy on return. Would definitely work with Ruth and Rachid again.”

About: I grew up with pets, from large to small. My sibling and friends always rely on me fostering their dogs and cats. I work from home and won’t leave your pets alone. My husband and I work full time from home, so your pets will always be attended to. They will pretty much hang out with us while we go about our day. My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up in a small mountain town with lots of dogs and lots of land! My favorite thing as a child was taking my dogs on walks or runs in the mountains. Since moving to Seattle I have primarily only dog sat/dog walked for friends, family, and coworkers and am now looking to expand and open myself up to the vast network of Seattle dogs! I find myself spending all my free time outside, whether it be exploring the mountains or just running through discovery park. Time spent outside is always made better with the company of a dog though which is why I am offering the service of dog walking/running I have three months off before I start a new job so have lots of time and flexible availability for pet care! Able to go on long walks or hikes I have a fully fenced back yard and have one dog and one cat at my house! Sometimes I have my partners dog as well

About: I’ve grown up with and trained dogs since I was 3–german shepherds & golden retrievers. One of my family’s GSD had puppies at home and we raised the seven through 8 weeks and kept one! Through college, I dog sat a golden doodle on a weekly basis. I work from home full-time, which means your pet gets attention throughout the entire day, not just before and after a 9-to-5. No long stretches alone, no waiting until evening for a walk. I’m based in Lower Queen Anne and live in a cozy apartment with my boyfriend and our Shih Tzu Cooper. No children, no yard, but don’t let that last part worry you. Cooper and I do at least one 2.5-mile walk every day, and if I’m watching your dog, they can expect the same. Queen Anne has wonderful walkable streets and green spaces, so there’s plenty to explore.

About: I grew up with mini schnauzers, which I gradually had more and more responsibility in their lives as I got older. Since then, I have been dog sitting for friends on and off and when needed! I regularly dog sit golden doodles, American bulldogs, pit bulls, frenchies, and mixed breeds. I am the go to of my friends, because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.
