“Great communication and my big German Shepard felt at ease and happy with Christian almost immediately. I'm so happy to have found someone we can trust to walk my boy while I am away.”

About: Experienced Care for All the Dogs :-) I’ve spent more than 15 years working with and training horses and dogs, including raising and training my own dogs from puppyhood. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, structured, and relationship-based approach that helps animals feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I’m happy to help with both ongoing routines and occasional support when schedules get busy, travel comes up, or your dog simply needs an extra walk or check-in. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I care deeply about creating a positive experience for both pets and their people. I’d love to meet you and your dog to see if we’re a good fit. I currently work from home, stepping out to walk my dog or to run errands. I also take Hank to the dog park every morning from 9 - 10am, as it's a stone's throw away. Once I get to know your dog and with your permission, dog park visits may be an option. Because of my experience, I’m often able to quickly assess a dog’s comfort level, energy, communication style, and individual needs - whether they need more structure, more patience, a slower introduction, reassurance, or simply space to settle in. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and adapting my approach to help them feel secure and successful. For boarding and in-home care, I prefer a quieter, lower-volume environment where dogs can receive more personalized attention. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medication needs, exercise levels, and behavioral cues to help dogs feel as comfortable and settled as possible. You can expect: • dependable and professional communication • regular updates and photos • close attention to your dog’s routines and needs • thoughtful, individualized care I’m especially comfortable with: • anxious or sensitive dogs • senior dogs (who are mobile - I'm in a townhouse) • high-energy dogs who benefit from structure • puppies and younger dogs learning routines • dogs who need patience, consistency, and calm handling My approach is calm, attentive, and grounded in trust and consistency. I understand how important routines, communication, and environment are for animals, and I strive to create a positive, low-stress experience while they’re in my care. I offer: • dog walking • one-off or occasional walks • repeat weekly walks • drop-in visits • overnight boarding in my home • daytime companionship and care
About: Ever since I was a child I have loved animals and they love me. I often find myself being followed by cats when I 'm on walks or being approached and greeted by dogs at parks. They give me a sense of calm and I enjoy giving them and their humans reassurance that they are well cared for. I currently have one large Cane Corso and one small Persian Himalayan...guess which one is the boss? I hope you will entrust me with your furry family to provide them with what they and you need. My daily schedule is rather flexible so I am able to adjust according to your needs. Whether it's a consistent schedule or as needed, I’m usually able to accommodate. As a guest in your space I always respect your needs and requests for the furry family! I'm happy to do walks, play in the yard or relax and play inside.
“Elizabeth is the BEST! My dog Baloo had the pleasure of getting re-acquainted with her last week and loved his walks with her. She always sends pictures of his adventures and a note after each walk, which is so nice for us when we have to be away from him. Thanks Elizabeth from Beth and Baloo”

“Stephanie is great! She's very calm and collected and you can tell right away she has a lot of valuable experience with dogs. After their first walk, I can already tell my dog Louie is in love with her!!”

About: I reply FAST! 🐶 As a child, we owned frogs, parakeets, a tarantula, and eventually a corgi (who I trained to do many unique tricks!) I also rode horses for years, so safe to say I’ve experienced a spectrum. I often cared for neighbors’ pets when out of town, have consistently watched my caregiving client’s dogs for weeks while they’re on vacations, and took care of four dogs under one roof as a nanny for a year (yep, alone, and one was a puppy!) I have a soft spot for cats, but I love animals! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and many of my jobs are WFH. I have lots of random bits of time midday and often have giant gaps of availability! Also very open to sitting, please be upfront about if constant care is expected because my CC rates are different since I have to be able to afford to not work my other jobs, otherwise I lose a lot of money sitting (: You can also book my drop-ins instead if that works better! I would love to assist any of your needs for your pets with utmost kindness and safety. I am very respectful and follow directions very well! I want to satisfy my clients and their beloved companions. I just love being around animals!
“Taylor was fantastic with my older dog. He had recently had surgery and required a few extra safety instructions and care. She was great with using a sling and giving medications. She is very quick to respond to messages and requests. Would definitely trust her to take care of my pup again.”

“Reza was great with our pup. He took such good care of her and really put us at ease while we were on holiday. We highly recommend him. He also sends really lovely pics!”

“Alana is awesome! She took my two dogs out for walks while I was out of town. I have a boarder collie mix that can be leash aggressive and she handled him professionally (her dog has it also). I'd 100% recommended her!”

About: I love and respect all animals. I’m know among friends as the dog whisperer . My focus is your pets well-being with a good belly scratch at the end of each encounter. No cats please. Cats are awesome as well but I’m allergic to their dander. I’m willing to make accommodations with multiple trips a day to meet your fur babies’ needs. I understand consistency is important to care for your pets, therefore I can always be dependable with meeting my commitment. I would provide love and attention to your pet(s) as if they’re my own. You can provide instructions to how best care for your pet(s) and feel confident that expectations are being followed.
About: Animals have always been at the heart of my life. I have cared for pets of all kinds since I was young, and for 17 years my closest companion was my cat, who passed away a few years ago. For the past four years, I have been the proud dog mom to a sweet rescue pit bull. Working with a reactive dog has given me hands-on experience with patience, consistency, and a deeper understanding of canine behavior. I have learned how to read cues, build trust, and create a calm, supportive environment. These are skills I bring to every pet I care for. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with attention, respect, and genuine care. Whether your pup needs a structured walk, playtime, or simply a comforting presence while you are away, I am here to help. Clear and consistent communication is important to me, and I will always keep you updated so you feel confident your pet is in good hands. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm. (I am unavailable from 11am to 1pm Tuesday through Thursday.) My schedule is fairly flexible, so feel free to reach out if you need care outside of those hours. I am happy to see what we can arrange. I do not offer boarding or overnight stays, as I have a dog at home. I am comfortable following your pet’s established routines, including crating, feeding schedules, and training preferences. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, and I will make sure you feel just as at ease as they do.
About: My family and I have had dogs for 15 years now. I currently have two dogs of my own. One is a 3 year old mini golden-doodle and the other a 1 year old mini labra-doodle. I enjoy going on walks, playing with them or even just lounging around if that’s what they feel like doing. I just moved to Seattle with my wife. I currently don’t have a job so my availability is open for anything. Feel free to reach out or ask questions! I’m pretty flexible with whatever you need for care in your home. Just let me know exactly what you need from me to create a fun and safe environment for your pet!
About: I have experience as a professional dog grooming and 15 years experience caring for pets including multi pet households. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy adventures with a furry friend. I love animals and animals love me. I have open availability to caring for pets in their home or in mine as well as dog walking. I am currently not working and have just finished a 5 week housesitting gig I do not have any pets in my home, and can accommodate up to 2 small pets. I am able to care for multiple pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, guinea pigs and aquatic pets in their homes.
“Kymberly was able to walk our dog Reign on short notice and was easy to coordinate with! Big thanks to her and would recommend for anyone seeking some doggie care!”

“Katrina took such great care of Murray! She went the extra mile to give him special care on particularly cold and rainy days. She was very responsive and kept us up to date with messages and photos. We were able to have a wonderful vacation knowing Murray was well taken care of.”

North Beach dog parents share their Rover experiences
We cannot recommend Grace highly enough. From the very beginning, she exceeded our expectations in the care she provided for our dog, Maggie. In addition to offering exceptional care, Grace was instrumental in helping us address Maggie’s training needs and anxiety. She took the time to understand Maggie’s unique personality, provided thoughtful guidance, and shared practical strategies that helped Maggie become more comfortable and confident when left home alone. The progress we saw was truly remarkable. What impressed us most was the genuine bond Grace developed with Maggie. Every time Maggie saw her, she would light up with excitement—wagging her tail, wiggling with happiness, and eagerly anticipating their time together. As pet owners, there is no greater reassurance than knowing your dog feels safe, happy, and loved in someone else’s care. Grace’s dedication goes far beyond day-to-day pet sitting. She is deeply invested in the well-being of the dogs she works with and consistently demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and expertise. Thanks to her influence, Maggie is happier, more confident, and better behaved. We are incredibly grateful for everything Grace has done and would wholeheartedly trust her with Maggie again.
