“Christian helped watch our dog while we were traveling. He was super helpful and communicative, and we appreciated his willingness to work with our reactive dog. Overall, we would recommend Christian and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again!”
“Danielle is great! Easy and timely communication, shows up on time for walks and takes cute pictures!! I’ll continue to use in the future for dog walks :)”

About: I've spent most of my life caring for pets and their homes, including end-of-life care, grooming needs, dietary monitoring, and social introductions. I've worked primarily with Spitz and Herding breeds in my own home but my heart fills around all four-legged family members. I hope to bring the same love and cuddles they give us, along with delicious homemade treats! I have open availability for the month of March before starting a hospitality position. Then limiting hours to afternoons. I'm hoping to find a furfamily looking for any extra relief when it comes to balancing pet/home care and self care. I have a fenced yard, and in interior room dedicated to pet enrichment, but lease restrictions keep me from adopting my own. Comfort for your pet, around a stranger (me), is the highest priority for me while in your home. That includes following their daily routine over my own.
About: Ever since I was a child I have loved animals and they love me. I often find myself being followed by cats when I 'm on walks or being approached and greeted by dogs at parks. They give me a sense of calm and I enjoy giving them and their humans reassurance that they are well cared for. I currently have one large Cane Corso and one small Persian Himalayan...guess which one is the boss? I hope you will entrust me with your furry family to provide them with what they and you need. My daily schedule is rather flexible so I am able to adjust according to your needs. Whether it's a consistent schedule or adjust depending on their needs, I can adjust as needed. As a guest in your space I always respect your needs and requests for the furry family! I'm happy to do walks, play in the yard or relax and play inside.
“Elizabeth is wonderful and my dog loves his long walks with her! She always leaves detailed descriptions of their walks. I also appreciate how flexible she is with short notice.”

“Nick is the best! My dog is pooped from a long walk. He was patient with my dog getting acclimated to a new human and brought treats. We will booking regular walks with Nick for sure!”

About: My dog is like my child, sibling, and best friend all in one - so if you feel this way about your dog we are on the same page about the level of care every dog deserves. I live within blocks of Sunset Hill park where I take my little shih tzu to hang out with the other neighborhood doggies. He is mild tempered, moderately playful, and is very well behaved with other dogs. He is very well trained so if you’re looking for someone who is loving but not going to let your dog run amuck I’m your person. If I have an errand to run I’ll most likely be taking your dog with me, so if your dog enjoys car rides and being out and about it'll be a perfect match. I have a soft spot for elderly dogs as I know it's tough for them to get around and you have to be more sensitive to their needs. On work from home days, I take my dog out 3 times before the work day ends (rain or shine). Then in the evening I take another two walks before and after dinner. I do a final late night potty break so the pups can sleep through the night. Your pup would follow the same routine. On weekends I try to change the scenery and go to different places like Discovey park, Alki beach, Golden Gardens, etc. I don’t just watch the dogs and let them sit on the couch I keep them stimulated throughout the day with play time and some basic training to reinforce good behavior and create a stronger bond. I have a fenced backyard and anytime we go in the backyard, I would be supervising 100% of the time. My house is spacious with minimal furniture so plenty of room for your dog and my dog to do zoomies safely.
“Thanks Ali!! My dog, Clyde was definitely in a stubborn mood, but Ali was extremely patient, and kind throughout the entire visit. It was clear Clyde didn’t feel up to a walk but she really tried to coax him and worked with him for the whole hour. I really appreciate how accommodating and friendly she was- you can tell she genuinely cares. Thanks again!”

“Alana is awesome! She took my two dogs out for walks while I was out of town. I have a boarder collie mix that can be leash aggressive and she handled him professionally (her dog has it also). I'd 100% recommended her!”

“Superstar dog walker, I wasn’t able to reply to her messages due to the event I was at but she took care of everything I needed and my dog is a happy camper. Very responsible and dependable”

“We are happy we booked Chip for an hour walk with our dog! He was great at our meet and greet and asked all the right questions to prep for his time with our pup. Excellent communication and you can tell he genuinely cares about the well-being of the dogs he cares for.”

About: Hi! My name's Mandi and I've been surrounded by pets all my life. My mom's worked as a CSR at a vet hospital since I was little. I followed in her foot steps and worked at Green Lake Animal Hospital for over a year when I moved back to Seattle. I learned so much about animal health and care in time there. I have experience taking care of cats, dogs, parakeets, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I love all animals. (And it's always so fun seeing the names everyone comes up with.) I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I have two cats of my own, Franklin and Rosie, who can be pretty particular. Rosie has...plenty of tortitude. So I have a real soft spot for moody cats. I'm completely understanding of any specific requests you have for care. Does your cat have a specific blanket they like? Does your dog like one particular route? Let me know! I'm so excited to meet your pets and whatever I can do to make visits as helpful and stress-free as possible, I'm happy to accommodate! I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I'm happy to work around your schedule and find a visit time that works best for you. I go out of my way to go above and beyond for visits. I'll follow your instructions exactly and make sure all pet dishes are cleaned, litter is swept, and dog bags are thrown away.
“Reza is fabulous! He came prepared with treats and was so good with Penny who can be very shy! He was very communicative which we appreciate. I look forward to requesting his services again, and I know Penny will be happy to see him!”

About: I love and respect all animals. I’m know among friends as the dog whisperer . My focus is your pets well-being with a good belly scratch at the end of each encounter. No cats please. Cats are awesome as well but I’m allergic to their dander. I’m willing to make accommodations with multiple trips a day to meet your fur babies’ needs. I understand consistency is important to care for your pets, therefore I can always be dependable with meeting my commitment. I would provide love and attention to your pet(s) as if they’re my own. You can provide instructions to how best care for your pet(s) and feel confident that expectations are being followed.
“Lisa is so great with my Lucy dog! Lucy does best with calm, confident, experienced care takers and Lisa fits the bill. Lisa is not at all phased by Lucy’s strong personality and occasional reactivity. When she comes to the house for a walk, Lucy does her “Lisa dance” and is clearly so excited! I’m very lucky to have found Lisa and cannot recommend her enough.”

“Kymberly was able to walk our dog Reign on short notice and was easy to coordinate with! Big thanks to her and would recommend for anyone seeking some doggie care!”

“Stacey is super communicative and kind, and great with our extra-sniffy Lab. We just moved to the area and are so happy to have someone great in the area we can rely on!”

North Beach dog parents share their Rover experiences
We use Emily for weekly walks and occasional overnight stays with our teenage golden retriever Lincoln, who can be a (lovable) handful. We had a really hard time finding someone we trusted with him, but we never worry when he’s with Emily. She clearly loves him and treats him like her own dog. What’s impressed us most is how much thought she puts into their time together. She works training into their walks, takes him to different spots around the area, and even mixes in play time with her own dog. He comes home happy and tired in the best way. She also sends detailed updates throughout, which means a lot when we’re away overnight. We can’t recommend her enough!

Megan took fantastic care of Gunner. He was clearly thrilled to spend time with her and were certain he wants us to keep booking her daily so they can walk. She’s always careful to ensure he’s got space from other dogs and gets plenty of good exercise mixed in with good sniffs on their walks. Megan follows care guidance carefully and I’d book her again anytime she’s free when Gunner needs a sitter or walker.
Thanks Ali!! Thanks again!

Carissa was absolutely wonderful! My dog loved her immediately, which says a lot. Carissa was super friendly, communicative, and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free even when I booked last minute. She sent lots of great photos too. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!
