She was so attentive that during a walk, she even noticed when Colin got super excited and immediately recognized that they were passing his best friend’s house! Edith was incredibly reliable, always on time, and great about sending updates when she was on her way. She left the house exactly as she found it, always making sure Colin’s water bowl was topped off and rewarding him with a treat after his walks. About: I am a caring and responsible animal lover with experience helping rescued animals. Over the years, I have cared for many cats rescued from the street, providing food, attention, and a safe environment while they recovered or waited for permanent homes. I have also looked after dogs on several occasions until they were adopted by their forever families. In addition, I have experience caring for small pets such as hamsters and occasionally birds. I understand the importance of patience, routine, and paying attention to each animal’s individual needs. I am reliable, gentle, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are in my care. I work a regular job, so I currently offer drop-in visits and dog walking rather than boarding. I can visit your pet, provide fresh food and water, clean up after them, spend time playing, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for while you are away. I do not offer boarding in my home because I work outside the home and do not want dogs to be left alone for long periods of time or have to wait too long for bathroom breaks. I believe pets should receive proper attention, exercise, and care. During visits, I will follow your instructions carefully, keep your pet’s environment clean and safe, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure.

About: I love animals of all kinds, and grew up with a variety! Cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, snakes, tarantulas, salamanders and lizards. Animals bring me a lot of joy, and I love helping people in the community with pet sitting. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager and have experience taking care of all kinds of pets. I love walking, playing, hiking and just spending time with animals. I know how important they are to you, and will love and care for them as I do my own. As a teacher, my pet care during the school year is limited to the weekends, after school and during breaks. During the summer from the end of June to end of August, I am open anytime during the week and weekends for daily walks, feeding, drop-ins and longer house sits. I take house safety very seriously and know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their home. I will follow your care instructions and make sure I understand all of you and your pets needs.

About: When I was just a little kid a big parrot flew into our house, and I kept it as a pet from the age of 6 to 18. Then when I went off to college my parents took care of it. After college I helped take care of my sister’s dogs. And I lived with a girl for a while who owned two cats that I took care of so I have lots of experience with different animals. I even used to own a guinea pig at one point in my life. So my entire life has revolved around taking care of pets. So I figured this would be a great job for me. I’m extremely loving and caring and will treat your pets just like I would mind. I’m a very loving and caring person. I currently am unemployed. I’m looking for a job, but as of right now, my schedule is fully open. So please hit me up whenever I need the money. Well, besides the basics like feeding them and making sure they’re going to the bathroom and drinking water, I always play with them. Show them attention when they want attention and don’t show them attention when they don’t want attention. I’m pretty good at reading body language of an animal. I love playing with dogs and cats. I know it’s important for them to get out their energy so they can have a good night sleep. I love going on walks. So I also do that in anything else like taking them to the dog park

About: I have had dogs, large and small, young and old since childhood and was the neighborhood pet sitter growing up. I'm a proud German Shepherd mama who would love to add a short term or extended stay buddy for Miss Ziva. Now that I work from home full time, my pupper needs a friend! We'd love to meet your fur baby. Don't let my baby's size fool you, she's a huge lover. I would prefer my home but can make arrangements to come to you! My dog is a free range dog in the house, but can adapt to changes depending on our guest. Definitely will respect your fur babies routine. We do have a dog park at my complex and would accommodate any anxiety issues. My 15 year old would give your baby extra attention as she is a regular Nana Nurse.

“We were out of town when Melissa (whom we had only just met) came by to walk our pup—and our smoke detectors were all beeping in the house. Melissa not only put batteries in them but gave our pup extra time and TLC when he was understandably a bit freaked out… She communicated about the problem immediately and stuck with us till the problem was fixed (multiple detectors and lots of chaos!) She is wonderful with dogs and is currently my hero!”

About: My family and I have had dogs for 15 years now. I currently have two dogs of my own. One is a 3 year old mini golden-doodle and the other a 1 year old mini labra-doodle. I enjoy going on walks, playing with them or even just lounging around if that’s what they feel like doing. I just moved to Seattle with my wife. About: I’m a huge animal lover and have been taking care of them my whole life. I grew up around farm animals, with 3 big dogs and now have two cats of my own, who I treat as my children! My ultimate dream in life is to live on a farm with lots of land and adopt all the animals who need a home! I just moved to North Seattle and am new to Rover, but I have many years of pet care experience and was a regular sitter of several dogs and cats where I used to live. One of my clients even had two spotted geckos who I helped take care of while they were gone! They ate live crickets which were interesting to handle and fun to watch when they devoured them! I work six days a week, but they are shorter shifts, only about 25 minutes from home. I am able to provide walks and lots of love throughout the day before I leave for work, and after! We also have a backyard with a deck and an area for them to potty. We like to hang outside a lot in the summer and have some toys that they can play with. I am also happy to administer medications if need be. My cats are older and get meds every other day! Sometimes there is just one dog at the house and sometimes there are five all at once and it’s pretty great! Your animals will be well taken care of because I will also treat them as my own. I am also happy to stay at your house if need be! I also work as a gymnastics coach but mostly during the early evening and night time, typically about 3:30-9:00 most days, I’m off on Sundays. I have the mornings and early afternoons to do what I want. We have a fenced in yard and 3 cats in the house. There are gates to each set of stairs to block them off if needed. We also have space for a crate in the house.
