About: I've been a dog sitter with Rover for over 7 years and I love every minute of it. I'm so excited to meet you and your pet! About this sitter: Currently offering drop ins (cats and dogs) and dog walks! I have ample availability during the week and would love to hang out with your pet. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs since I was a knee-high. I picked out my first loveable mutt, a German Shepherd, Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix, when I was in 6th grade. Since then I have always had a four-legged friend of my own. Meet my pets: James and Greta the miniature schnauzers About my yard Have a fenced front and back yard and I'm able to take your pup outdoors for a walk around the block as often as he/she needs. My experience administering medication Yes, I have had to administer medication to many pets, though I do not have experience with injections. I work full time remotely, and your dog will join me and my puppy on our daily walks and play time in the yard. We love hiking on weekends as well so if they like that let me know! Otherwise we can find other fun things to do. Also big fan of breweries on the weekend so also let me know if you or your dog aren’t comfortable with that many people around, etc. I have a fenced front and back yard and a puppy if my own. Frequent walks and play time. My puppy loves to play a lot so if your dog is high energy that is awesome.

About: I have many years of global house/pet sitting experience on other sites but am new to Rover. I will be back in the Seattle area from the beginning of October 2026 and will be house sitting until at least September 2027. I have already completed the following house/pet sitting trips: April/May 2023 San Francisco/Bay Area. 5 housesits, cats, dogs, birds and fish, indoor plants, garden. September/October 2023 L.A./Orange County. I took care of 2 homes, dogs, cats, fish, indoor plants, large garden. February/April 2024 Seattle area. 5 housesits, dogs, cats, indoor plants, backyards, garden. July/August 2024 Hvar, Croatia. 1 housesit. Dog, indoor/outdoor plants. September/October 2024. Kailua, Hawaii. I took care of 1 home, 2 cats, 1 very large dog, indoor/outdoor plants. Large garden. February/May 2025. San Francisco/San Diego. I took care of 5 homes, 6 cats, indoor/outdoor plants, backyard and gardens July 2025. Mallorca, Spain. I sat for an amazing home with two large dogs, an extremely large orchard, a very large garden as well as a nursery. September 2025. Corfu, Greece. I sat for a 350 year old original Greek stone home with 8 cats, 2 dogs, a very large garden and exotic plants. November 2025-March 2026. Seattle, Washington. I sat for 7 homes, 3 very large dogs, 10 cats, indoor/outdoor plants as well as 2 large gardens. Confirmed, upcoming sits. July 2026. Estepona, Spain. 3 week sit for a large home. 2 dogs, 1 cat, very large orchard and garden. August 2026. Malaga, Spain. 2 week sit for 2 cats. 200 year old historical flat in the centre of Malaga. October 2026-September 2027 Seattle area. I already have 2 confirmed housesits and am currently interviewing for more. One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. About: I have experience as a professional dog grooming and 15 years experience caring for pets including multi pet households. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy adventures with a furry friend. I love animals and animals love me. I also provide high quality photography of your fur baby during the stay! I have open availability to caring for pets in their home as well as dog walking. I have the flexibility to adapt to any animals schedule. I can walk up to 3x a day. I travel/remote work, therefore while sitting, I can dedicate my time to your home/animals/plants. I do not have any pets in my home, anymore. I am able to care for multiple pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, guinea pigs and aquatic pets in their homes.

About: I absolutely adore all dogs and love to help dog owners give their pets the love and lifestyle they deserve. I have lived with dogs my entire life and consistently pet sat. I’m very organized/punctual and will consistently provide updates on your sweet pup. I’m available for dog walking, play/potty breaks, house sitting, and boarding (provided it is a good fit). Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! I have a flexible schedule so am available to walk or provide a play/potty break for your pup throughout the work day. I have availability for dog sitting or boarding any day of the week as long as I have 2-3 days of a heads up given. I tailor my care to each specific dog. I’m happy to provide long or short walks, brain/sniff games or fetch! I’m always always always ready to give the pup a snuggle or pets if they enjoy physical touch. At my home I have a small fenced yard that dogs can explore while I am outside with them. I live on a quiet street with a pedestrian first street which is perfect for walks. Dogs are allowed on the couch (we have to have a place to snuggle!) and will be crated when I am gone (never more than 3 hours during the day) and for bed time.

About: We're new to Seattle after moving from North Carolina, and we'd love to meet some new four-legged friends! Between the two of us, we've spent our lives around animals. We both grew up with dogs as beloved family members, and today we share our home with cats and a rabbit. While we adore our own pets, we miss the joy of spending time with dogs and would love to give yours the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Lucas is a former dog trainer with experience understanding canine behavior and reinforcing good habits using positive interactions. Des is happiest with a tennis ball in hand and is always ready for a game of fetch, a long walk, or plenty of belly rubs and cuddles. We enjoy caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to gentle senior companions and everyone in between. We also have experience with cats, rabbits, and other small animals. We're comfortable administering oral medications and have experience giving subcutaneous fluids to senior cats, so we're happy to care for pets with extra medical needs. Although we can't host pets in our apartment, we're available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting in your home. We'll follow your pet's routine closely, treat your home with respect, and send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing they're in caring, capable hands. Every pet is unique, and we'll make sure yours receives the love, patience, and individualized care they deserve. We can't wait to meet you and your floofy family member! We both work remotely and have flexible schedules which means we can work around your pet's routines and needs. Fitting in multiple visits or walks per day is not a problem. Safety is my #1 priority when it comes to my own pets and it will be with yours as well! Dogs will always be on a non-retractable leash (I have my own, if you do not) and we will be sure to follow whatever house rules you have in place. Cats will never be allowed outside unless that is something you prefer and specifically request.

About: I have had 4 dogs and am auntie to 7 dogs and 4 cats. I’ve also had a hedgehog and currently have a sweet gecko. I will take the time to get to know your pets and their needs and keep them happy while you are away. I work part time and my schedule is flexible so I can tailor my day to take care of your pets. I love spending time with animals and will make their needs a priority. I am able and willing to spend the night at your house, where your pet(s) will be comfortable and happy to be at home. I can also host your dog in my home, if they don’t mind sharing with my senior dog.

About: I have 10 years professional experience with dog services, ranging from quick potty breaks to 24 hour dog care services. Currently offering walks solo or with siblings from the same household. Also providing daily park visits for recurring mixed groups or solo family pack groups after I get to know their temperaments. My availability varies, I keep it fluid so checking in is advised. Monday through Saturday is generally available for bookings, from morning to night with a flexible schedule. Sundays can be provided as needed, case by case basis. As mentioned above we can do familiar walks around your neighborhood or I can transport to dog parks if your pup is comfortable with drives to alternative locations, after establishing trust, comfort level and personality.
