I always treat and care all animals i care for as if they were my own. Currently I have a flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and in home sitting currently. About: I've had dogs for my entire life - big, medium, and small, and usually more than one at a time, and I love them! I also used to groom dogs professionally, so I know how to take care of them and keep them happy even when they're stressed. I worked with and trained with horses for over a decade too, which means I'm comfortable working with dogs of just about every size. I also have some experience training dogs and some training in emergency first aid for animals. I work a full time job but I have my own vehicle and a flexible schedule so I have a lot of availability. I can run with your dog, take them to a park, whatever you or they need.

About: I’m a grad student at UW studying biology. I love animals and have always taken care of them since I was little! I grew up with four cats and currently have one cat of my own (a sweet black kitty named Gizmo). I have been cat sitting, dog sitting, and dog walking for neighbors and friends since I was a little kid. I would be honored to sit your cats and dogs! My schedule is flexible and I am able to work from home around half the day each day. My husband is also able to work fully remote. Because our schedules are flexible, we can be sure to schedule our day around your pet. We have a house with a small fenced in yard for pups to run around in, and live close to a bigger park! One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As of 2026, I recently lost my dog Lily, and about a year and a half ago I lost Hayzel, who was my soul dog. Hayzel was 11 and Lily was 13, both pitbulls that I trained myself. They were truly the best dogs I could have ever asked for. I’ve also worked professionally in pet sitting, dog walking, and dog training for several years. Hayzel and Lily actually assisted me in working with other dogs, especially those with anxiety, which gave me a deep understanding of behavior, energy, and trust. I’ve been in the holistic health field for over 20 years, and that naturally extended into working with animals alongside humans. I now work in nervous system integration, photography, and coaching, and I bring that same grounded, calm presence into how I care for dogs. I work especially well with large breeds, but I’m always happy to spend time with smaller dogs as well. I’m also the kind of person who will stop to help a loose dog find its owner—I actually did that today as I’m writing this. I live a quiet, clean, minimalist, and sober lifestyle. While I’ve spent a lot of time alone in recent years, my dogs were my constant companions for over 13 years. After losing Lily, I realized just how special that connection is. I’m not quite ready for my next dog yet, but being around them still feels deeply important to me. I care for every dog with attention, presence, and respect for who they are, not just what they need. The pictures I included are images throughout the years with my dogs. It was a bit hard to go through them, but oh am I happy that I found them. My main role at this time is photography and I set my own schedule. I tend to only work 4 hours a day and when my shoots might extend longer on certain days, I am easily able to fit in visits for those pets that need outdoor time a little quicker than others. I care for pets by paying close attention to their individual needs, routine, and energy. In a client’s home, I aim to keep everything as consistent and familiar as possible so your dog feels comfortable while you’re away. I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely, while also making sure they’re getting real attention and presence, not just a quick check-in. I bring a calm, grounded energy and take the time to build trust, especially with dogs who may have anxiety or need a slower approach. I’ve worked with a wide range of temperaments, including high-energy and more sensitive dogs, and I adjust my care based on what each dog responds to best. If they’re playful, I’m all in!! I will absolutely play like a kid with them and let them get it out. If they’re cuddlers, they’re going to get a level of cuddling that might rival what they’re used to 😅 I genuinely enjoy being with them and meeting them exactly where they are. I also understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I’ve been on that side of it, and I’m very mindful because of it. I’m conscious of where and how I eat so nothing is left out for them to get into, I make sure doors are always secure, and I keep a constant awareness of their safety and environment. I’m very respectful of your home and space. I keep things clean, communicate clearly, and will send updates so you know how your dog is doing. My goal is for you to feel at ease knowing your pet is being genuinely cared for while you’re away. If I’m doing drop-ins or walks, I make sure your dog gets quality interaction, not just the basics. Whether that’s playtime, a relaxed walk, or simply being present with them.

About: I have two British cats of my own, a 7-year-old British Shorthair and a 3-year-old British Longhair. I’ve had both of them since they were just 2 months old, so I’m very comfortable caring for kittens and understanding their needs as they grow. I’ve also helped friends care for their cats while they were away, providing short-term care in their homes. This has given me experience with cats who have different personalities, routines, and needs. What sets me apart is my patience and attention to detail. I understand that some cats are social and playful, while others are shy or independent and need more time to feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow each cat’s individual routine and give them the space and attention they need. During each visit, I can take care of feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. I’ll also pay attention to their behavior and well-being and send you photos and updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away. I’ll care for your cats with the same patience, love, and attention I give my own. 🐱 I work part-time, so my schedule is very flexible and I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I can usually accommodate drop-in visits in the morning, afternoon, or evening, depending on your cat’s routine and needs. I’m happy to work around your schedule and make sure your cat receives consistent, attentive care while you’re away. I’ll always follow your instructions and keep you updated with photos and messages during my visits. I currently have two cats of my own, so I can accommodate up to one additional cat in my home at a time. I would make sure they have a safe, comfortable, and separate space to settle in, while carefully following their feeding and care routine. For drop-in visits at a client’s home, I focus on keeping the cat’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, spend time playing or keeping them company, and give them attention based on their personality and comfort level. I’ll always follow your specific instructions and treat your home and your cat with care and respect. I’ll also send photos and updates during each visit so you know how your cat is doing while you’re away.

About: I’ve been fostering and caring for cats since I was in first grade, giving me lifelong hands on experience with animals. I also worked at a doggy daycare for 3 and a half years, where I developed a strong understanding of animal behavior, group dynamics, and body language. I had a dog of my own, previously worked at a veterinary clinic, and currently work part-time as a veterinary assistant at an animal shelter. I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to spend time and give lots of love to your puppies! I’m available during the weekday after 1 o’clock and then anytime on the weekends I offer dog walking and daytime care, with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. In a client’s home, I’ll keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible, follow their normal feeding and walking schedule, and give them plenty of patience and reassurance so they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I live in a first floor apartment with easy outdoor access for regular walks and potty breaks. I don’t currently have any pets, so I can provide a calm, pet free environment for dogs to stay. I’m also happy to accommodate crates or anything else that helps a puppy or dog feel secure.

About: I've owned dog all my life and have done lots to help raise and take care of them, especially in the last few years I have taken on more responsibilities and for the last three months I worked with a dog training facility and taught classes for puppy training, obedience, and agility training! I even now have a cat that is my entire child and I work with dogs on the daily. After my job shut down unexpectedly, I have all the time in the world and I never mind a long drive! I can do anything from taking your dog on a walk or hike, to staying overnight taking care and doing some training with your pets. The only thing I can't do is take them into my apartment. I have lots of experience caring and working with other people's pets, I am good at listening to instructions and will never step out of your boundaries on purpose. I love to spend a day relaxing and playing with my dog at home and making sure they get the enrichment and affection at the end of each day.
