“Tanja is reliable, kind, and compassionate. She helped us with our two senior pups and two cats and took the time to learn about our pets and take great of them. Thank you so much and we will call Tanja in the future for help.”

“Nora did a wonderful job walking my pup while I was out of town. My dog was immediately comfortable with her. Nora made sure my pup was well taken care of and left a little summary and pictures after each walk. I would book Nora again and would recommend her for your pet needs.”

“Amanda has been great with our dog! She has been a strong communicator, responsive, and reliable which we so appreciate. We look forward to continuing to work with her!”

“Emily checks all the boxes! She's great with dogs, responsive, patient & caring. Olive loves her walks with Emily & even seems to smile for the camera in the cute photo updates. We really appreciate the great care!”

“John helped us with walking our Dachshund, Cody, daily for the past week. He was amazing—I will definitely work with him in the future and recommend him 100%. He was willing to come do a meet and greet and was so good with Cody. He is very attentive to Cody’s needs. He also sends detailed updates after each walk that I really appreciate. And took lots of cute pictures of Cody for us! Very reliable and above and beyond care.”

About: I've had dogs for my entire life - big, medium, and small, and usually more than one at a time, and I love them! I also used to groom dogs professionally, so I know how to take care of them and keep them happy even when they're stressed. I worked with and trained with horses for over a decade too, which means I'm comfortable working with dogs of just about every size. I also have some experience training dogs and some training in emergency first aid for animals. I work a full time job but I have my own vehicle and a flexible schedule so I have a lot of availability. I can run with your dog, take them to a park, whatever you or they need.

“Justin is responsive and always professional. He takes care of my two terriers with walks and play, and one of them is a handful. I always know they are in good hands with Justin!”

“Nikki has bee such a great partner and caregiver to our new puppy. She super attentive and flexible with shifting schedules. She's given great updates on the walks and I really feel supported. She's easy to communicate with as well. Couldn't recommend her enough!”

“Zephyr was great with our Cookie! She warmed up to Zephyr right away (she is nervous around new people) and they went on long walks together that totally wore out our pup. We will definitely request Zephyr’s services in the future.”

About: I’m a grad student at UW studying biology. I love animals and have always taken care of them since I was little! I grew up with four cats and currently have one cat of my own (a sweet black kitty named Gizmo). I have been cat sitting, dog sitting, and dog walking for neighbors and friends since I was a little kid. I would be honored to sit your cats and dogs! My schedule is flexible and I am able to work from home around half the day each day. My husband is also able to work fully remote. Because our schedules are flexible, we can be sure to schedule our day around your pet. We have a house with a small fenced in yard for pups to run around in, and live close to a bigger park! We also love daily walks for ourselves and any furry friends who are with us!
About: I have a big heart about making pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I stick closely to their normal routines by aligning my schedule with yours whenever possible, so things feel familiar and steady. I’m also very careful and detail oriented, especially with medication, special instructions, and any notes you leave, so your pet is cared for exactly how you want! My fiancé and I just moved to Seattle from Texas (yeehaw), and I am currently job searching, so my schedule is very flexible and I am available when you need it! I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency in every pet’s environment. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and make sure pets stay on their normal routine as much as possible. I pay attention to details like feeding schedules, medication, and any specific care notes. I always aim to keep the space calm and stress-free so pets feel secure while their owner is away. I provided updates and communicate promptly when you need some peace of mind, or you just miss your pet.
About: I am active, healthy, positive and loving. I love dogs and cats. I cannot imagine a life without them. I have had dogs and cats all of my life in every place where I have lived: Alaska, Eastern Washington and Seattle. I have cared for pets at all stages of their lives, from puppies and kittens to older, senior dogs and cats. My own beloved yellow lab, Izzy, died at age 14 and I cared for her to the end of her wonderful, long life. I am currently caring for a diabetic cat who gets insult with his meals, twice each day. I started seriously pet setting after I retired from 40 years of teaching I I provide quality care based on knowledge and experience so that owners know their pets and home are safe and lovingly cared for in their absence. Please see my reviews which attest to the good care I provide to my clients, animal and human! For dogs, and cats I provide care at your home. I am a writer and. retired so my schedule is flexible depending on you and your pet's needs. I prefer to stay in your home with you cat because they are happier in their own territory. I can also care for your dog in hig/her home or bring your dog to my condo. We have a large fenced property with safe trails and are located next door to a Bittrlake park. I will walk with your dog, play fetch, snuggle and give lots of ear and tummy rubs. I know that your pet will be most comfortable in their safe, familiar environment. Even though I helped start Magnuson Off Leash area, I prefer not to take dogs to the dog park where they can meet with aggressive dogs.

About: I’m an huge animal lover and have been taking care of them my whole life. I grew up with 3 big dogs and being around farm animals and now have two cats of my own, who I treat as my children! I just moved to North Seattle but had previously been a regular sitter for a few years, of about five different dogs and two cats, where I used to live. One of my clients also had two spotted geckos who I helped take care of while they were gone. They ate live crickets which were interesting to handle and fun to watch when they devoured them! I work full time, six days a week but shorter shifts, about 25 minutes from home. Typically I go into work between 2:00 and 3:00 pm and am home around 9:15 pm. I am able to provide walks and lots of love throughout the day before I leave for work. We also have a backyard with a deck and an area for them to potty. We like to hang outside a lot in the summer and have some toys that they can play with. I am also happy to administer medications if need be. My cats are older and get meds every other day! Sometimes there is just one dog at the house and sometimes there are five all at once and it’s pretty great! Your animals will be well taken care of because I will also treat them as my own. I am also happy to stay at your house if need be! My ultimate dream in life is to live on a farm with lots of land and adopt all the animals who need a home! I also work as a gymnastics coach but mostly during the early evening and night time, typically about 3:30-9:00 most days, I’m off on Sundays. I have the mornings and early afternoons to do what I want. We have a fenced in yard and 3 cats in the house. There are gates to each set of stairs to block them off if needed. We also have space for a crate in the house.

About: I've grown up surrounded by and loving animals. I've been helping care for my family's cats all my life, before adopting a pair of zebra finches (since passed) at ten, and taking over temporary care of my sister's rabbit at fifteen after she left for university. Twice I volunteered to clean up after cats at a local cat show run by the Cat Fanciers Association when I was eleven and twelve. I'm also patient with shy, ill-behaved, and/or high-needs animals. I want them to be healthy, happy, and as comfortable with me as I am with them. I am a university student currently home for the summer in between terms, which means I am available any day weekday through weekend, any time. I can walk, feed, clean up after, play, and medicate any animals as instructed. I can visit any location accessible through a combination of public transit and walking.
“Billy and Monica did a great job walking our pup. They communicated well and gave him a nice walk. We are excited to have them walk him again soon.”

“Audie is an amazing walker and super attentive to our dog’s needs. She is very flexible and goes out of her way to make sure our dog has everything he needs. We will definitely be booking her regularly!”

Haller Lake dog parents share their Rover experiences
As someone who typically works from home, I was incredibly anxious about having to leave my 2-year-old, 85-pound pup, Colin, for the first time while I was away. Finding Edith completely changed everything and gave me total peace of mind. From the very beginning, she was a true professional. She came over for a complimentary meet-and-greet to get to know Colin before our schedule started, and she asked all the right questions to make sure she understood his routine and quirks. Colin is a giant ball of pure energy, but Edith was absolutely amazing with his size and pace. She was so attentive that during a walk, she even noticed when Colin got super excited and immediately recognized that they were passing his best friend’s house! Edith was incredibly reliable, always on time, and great about sending updates when she was on her way. She left the house exactly as she found it, always making sure Colin’s water bowl was topped off and rewarding him with a treat after his walks. Having a walker like Edith made a stressful week feel completely effortless. She is the absolute best, and I hope to use her again and again and again. If you need someone trustworthy, attentive, and great with high-energy dogs, hire Edith!

Ella is so great with Cosmo & I can tell she really cares about our dog & gives him love and attention on walks while we’re at work. She responds super fast to my schedule requests & sends pics & updates of time with Cosmo every time. We are sad that she is moving & Cosmo won’t get to play with Ella anymore!
