“Jennifer was great as always! She is our go-to dog walker & for drop in visits, and I always feel confident our pup is well taken care of with her. She is very reliable and has excellent communication.”

“Communicative, easy going and flexible! Faith got to meet and get comfortable with Justin before he was scheduled to walk her. He was on time for walks and helped out with feedings too.”

“We love Samuel. He has been great jumping in with Ruthie who is a newly adopted rescue (and still nuts on a leash). He is always on time, and sends pictures. I feel so lucky that we found someone who is so close to us, and great to work with.”

“Kali came over in advance to meet our shy pup and has the best calm energy. She came to walk him and he wasn’t having it so they played in the backyard and he warmed up and had a great time. She sent photos and a review right away! Hope Frank will see her again!”

“Nora did a wonderful job walking my pup while I was out of town. My dog was immediately comfortable with her. Nora made sure my pup was well taken care of and left a little summary and pictures after each walk. I would book Nora again and would recommend her for your pet needs.”

About: Hi! I'm Rebecca, and I live with my partner in the Broadview/Bitter Lake neighborhood. I'm on Rover because helping others care for their animals helps me heal after saying goodbye to my own sweet girl, Nacha, in 2025. I'm a second generation pet sitter - I learned professional pet sitting while helping my mom with her small business as a teen, and actually took my first dog training class in middle school. More recently, I trained my own dog, Nacha, in basic manners, walking, and agility (positive reinforcement only!). I foster with Saving Great Animals and volunteer at PAWS Lynnwood. I'm sensitive - I have experience caring for nervous, easily excited, and/or reactive pets. I'm thoughtful about their needs and personality and enjoy tailoring their routine to meet them where they are. As a neurodivergent person, my sensitivity is my superpower, allowing me to easily attune to each creature I care for, whether they need to walk, zoom, play, snuggle, or decompress. I'm ridiculously safe - My uncanny ability to anticipate everything that could go wrong means that safety isn't just a priority, it's my baseline. I know first-hand what it's like to worry about your pet while you're at work, wondering if the walker remembered to take their collar off before putting them back in their crate, or hoping they followed their routine thoroughly enough to ensure they're comfortable until I get home. Let my own anxiety ease yours! I work remotely and part-time, allowing plenty of flexibility to put the pets' needs first. Meals, meds, walks, and playtime need to happen when they need to happen! As a foster with Saving Great Animals, I'm familiar with proper leashing protocols and the additional safety measures you need to take when caring for a dog you're less familiar with. I don't wear headphones while walking so I can keep an ear out for cars, animals, and other street hazards. At home, I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. TLDR: I'm as vigilant with pets as I am with human children.
About: I've had dogs for my entire life - big, medium, and small, and usually more than one at a time, and I love them! I also used to groom dogs professionally, so I know how to take care of them and keep them happy even when they're stressed. I worked with and trained with horses for over a decade too, which means I'm comfortable working with dogs of just about every size. I also have some experience training dogs and some training in emergency first aid for animals. I work a full time job but I have my own vehicle and a flexible schedule so I have a lot of availability. I can run with your dog, take them to a park, whatever you or they need.
About: Hi! My name's Mandi and I've been surrounded by pets all my life. My mom's worked as a CSR at a vet hospital since I was little. I followed in her foot steps and worked at Green Lake Animal Hospital for over a year when I moved back to Seattle. I learned so much about animal health and care in time there. I have experience taking care of cats, dogs, parakeets, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I love all animals. (And it's always so fun seeing the names everyone comes up with.) I can administer medication comfortably as well. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I have two cats of my own, Franklin and Rosie, who can be pretty particular. Rosie has...plenty of tortitude. So I have a real soft spot for moody cats. I'm completely understanding of any specific requests you have for care. Does your cat have a specific blanket they like? Does your dog like one particular route? Let me know! I'm so excited to meet your pets and whatever I can do to make visits as helpful and stress-free as possible, I'm happy to accommodate! I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I'm happy to work around your schedule and find a visit time that works best for you. I go out of my way to go above and beyond for visits. I'll follow your instructions exactly and make sure all pet dishes are cleaned, litter is swept, and dog bags are thrown away.

“Nikki has bee such a great partner and caregiver to our new puppy. She super attentive and flexible with shifting schedules. She's given great updates on the walks and I really feel supported. She's easy to communicate with as well. Couldn't recommend her enough!”

About: I would love to be that reliable, friendly, and most importantly attentive pet carer you can trust! I've been hired by a few friends to care for their pets, and have had very positive feedback regarding their experiences! I'll be sure to have a mask on whenever I'm indoors as I feel your safety as the owner is paramount! Currently I'm available any day of the week. I can be up early for a morning stroll, lunch break or the post dinner romp! I'm your person to give you a much needed break! I personally don't have a yard/dog, however I live near dog parks and a few lakes so I'll have a lot of area to cover. However, if there are areas near your home that you prefer, I would gladly take that route with your pup!
About: I have over ten years of caring for both cats and dogs. I enjoy dogs of all sizes, and have some experience recently with puppies. I look forward to meeting your furry family members! I currently have a remote internship Monday-Wednesday, and am open Thursday-Sunday for all day/overnight commitments. Depending on the needs of the pets, I could provide some care on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well. I am detail oriented, and am always sure to go over all the care details prior to visiting a new pet's home. I enjoy structure, so am happy to follow your animal's routine for walks, eating, and medication. I also love some good reading, working, or watching TV on the couch while cuddling with a dog or cat!
“Kendra walks my two older dogs four days a week, every week. Genuinely cares about my dogs which is fairly clear in the messages about their behavior and any issues I should be aware of. Takes note of the changes in their activity level, bathroom, and overall behavior, which are all good to note for their general well being. She’s cares about them to know what their normal is, which means a lot.”

“Maria was super kind with my dog Pistachio and despite the size difference she had a good handle on my 62lb Staffie who can tend to be a bulldozer when she gets excited. You know Pistachio had a good walk when she comes home drooling and she always came home drooling after her walks with Maria!”

About: My dog is my family - I know what I want for my little fur friend, him to be happy, healthy and safe, and I wouldn't treat your pup any different! My goal with Rover is to able to have fun interacting with other people's precious pets and treat them with the care and respect that I would my own. Hopefully both the dog and I will get some good exercise in so that the dog can return home happy and tired out! On all walks I will keep safety as my top priority, sticking to safe streets or walking paths, always adhering to the sidewalks. For drop-in visits I'll give the pup the love, care and attention that you would if you were there! During the week I work from home, so love having dogs around to keep me company, and excuse to get away from my desk for walks or garden time. Weekends are for dog-park visits and sofa snuggles. Pets are family, so the bed, sofa etc. are as much theirs as mine. I have a fenced in yard with pet artificial turf for outside time. My pup is free to roam the house while I’m out, but is also crate trained if needed.

Broadview dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rebecca had great questions about our dog before she came over. The rapport was instant. She did a great job of taking our doggo out for a walk; he was completely tired out upon their return. We'll probably hire her again -- we especially appreciate her coming by on short notice.

Maria was super kind with my dog Pistachio and despite the size difference she had a good handle on my 62lb Staffie who can tend to be a bulldozer when she gets excited. You know Pistachio had a good walk when she comes home drooling and she always came home drooling after her walks with Maria!

Veronica is an amazing and trustworthy dog walker. Super reliable, excellent communicator, who went above and beyond for my girl to stay active during my two week vacation. Veronica varied the walks keeping Maya engaged and enjoying local nature spots. Great pictures every day. I felt so reassured that Maya was in such great care. Highly recommend Veronica’s services. Thanks!!!!

Megan was very professional and I love how she took initiative to arrange a meet and greet with me and Mila. It made me feel that she was dependable, trustworthy, I loved doing the walkthrough with her knowing that she feels confident handling my dog. Thank you, Megan!
