About: I love animals of all kinds, and grew up with a variety! Cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, snakes, tarantulas, salamanders and lizards. Animals bring me a lot of joy, and I love helping people in the community with pet sitting. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager and have experience taking care of all kinds of pets. I love walking, playing, hiking and just spending time with animals. I know how important they are to you, and will love and care for them as I do my own. As a teacher, my pet care during the school year is limited to the weekends, after school and during breaks. During the summer from the end of June to end of August, I am open anytime during the week and weekends for daily walks, feeding, drop-ins and longer house sits. I take house safety very seriously and know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their home. I will follow your care instructions and make sure I understand all of you and your pets needs.
“Our usual dog walker was unexpectedly unavailable over the weekends while we were out of town, and it was such a relief that Ana was able to step in. She was great with our English Mastiff, Overton, and we came back to a happy dog. Even though Overton is very sweet, not everyone is comfortable walking a 230lb Mastiff, so we are very grateful to Ana!”

“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful with our 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy! She is incredibly caring and detail-oriented, which gave us total peace of mind. It was clear our pup loved her by the end of the stay. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be booking her again!”

About: As a life long animal lover turned veterinary assistant, I'm ready to apply my passion to helping others. I spent my childhood and teenage years pet sitting and volunteering at animal shelters, and have since joined the veterinary industry to take my love and care a step further. I have a soft spot for the shy guys (mom to an ex sled dog who was never properly socialized) and dogs with reactivity (also mom to a reactive small dog) and would love the opportunity to get to know yours. I’m comfortable giving medications, have experience with seniors and puppies, and if you have an animal who needs special accommodations, please feel free to reach out and let me know exactly what they need! I look forward to getting to know you and your pet ☺️ My schedule varies week to week, but my calendar will always be up to date so you know ahead of time when I'm available for you and your pets! Keeping your pets safe and calm is my top priority. As I have two anxious (and one reactive) dogs, I've spent years tailoring their care to keep them calm in all situations. Keeping space in public spaces, thinking three steps ahead, being aware of surroundings, and using tools, like slow movement and quiet voices, to de-escalate stressful situation are baseline when in my care.
“Our two kitties seemed very happy to have Jenifer take care of them for 5 days. She sent photos of them playing, and left our house cleaner than we did! Hand-washed cat food dishes, took out the litter box trash, etc. She even won over our older grumpy cat =)”
“Liza is amazing! She’s taken care of my cat Phoebe a few times while I’ve been out of town. Phoebe loves her, and I know Phoebe is in great hands. Liza also picked up some packages for me that were delivered when I was gone, which was very helpful. I will definitely book Liza again.”

“Rebecca is an all star. Her communication was perfect; she was competent and reliable; and I felt completely at ease knowing that my cats were in such good hands. I highly recommend Rebecca!!!”

About: Hello, I’m Danielle but I mostly go by Daisy! I am a compassionate animal lover. My entire life I’ve spent time with a variety of animals including cats, dogs and bunnies and even horses and chickens! I walk a lot and I’m familiar with many of the amazing parks and dog parks Seattle has to offer. But I also love to play couch potato and snuggle. I’m comfortable caring for animals of all ages. I have a 6 year old German shepherd mix and he’s my world! I would love to meet and care for your dogs or other pets. I work my main job usually 3 or 4 days a week. I work a variety of shifts, sometimes 8am to 4:30pm, sometimes 3pm- 11:30pm. For this reason, I fit best with pets that can handle flexible schedules. I’m not a good fit at this time for a strict schedule. Thank you for reading. In your home I am very careful when opening the door. I will never let your pets outside unsupervised. I am careful to not leave things out such as food that they can get in to.

About: My house/pet sitting, dog walking and 'assisting' experience has been a big part of my life. I have always worked in assisting busy, successful people with their everyday tasks, 'to-do' lists inclusive of house/pet sitting/pet care with the mind set to go above and beyond their expectations. My work ethic has consistently earned me my employers trust, faith and assurance that... 'I got this!'. Earning people's confidence has been the key for my employers to have the time and focus on their other important priorities, I'm here to do the same for you. Whether your dog needs care for an extended period of time, a couple of days, or half an hour, I'm here to give it my all. Dogs and their owners love that I'm calm and confident. My "take charge" philosophy ensures that you can feel comfortable while on vacation and your dog will be comfortable in my care. I make sure to get to know both my human and canine clients before a stay so I am best equipped to handle the stay based on their personality and needs. Safety is very important to me, and I keep a sharp eye out for hazards. I'm very passionate about dogs and providing them with stellar care. I'd love to set up a meet and greet to get to know you and your furry family member!
“We had an unexpected emergency come up with our primary sitter and had to cancel their visits. This was quite a scary situation for us since our pet is diabetic and needs routine injections. Adriana made herself available with very short notice and we were able to avoid any missed insulin injections. We are truly grateful that she was quick to respond to our emergency, and was willing to spend multiple prior visits learning how to take care of Zorro's insulin injections and blood glucose readings. We truly feel she saved Zorro from a serious health emergency. We also love Adriana's warmth when meeting with Zorro and we think this went a long way with helping him feel relaxed while we were away. Thank you Adriana!”

“Melissa is absolutely amazing. She did house visits for my cat twice a day for weeks while I was gone and made sure Momo (my cat) was very well taken care of. Her daily wonderful (and so funny) updates definitely gave me a peace of mind during travels. I'll for sure contact her to pet sit next time.”

“Sara took wonderful care of our cats with drop-in visits! Always punctual and reliable, with photo updates every time that put my mind at ease. Our cats clearly liked her. Trustworthy and great with pets, highly recommend and will book again!”

About: I am active, healthy, positive and loving. I love dogs and cats. I cannot imagine a life without them. I have had dogs and cats all of my life in every place where I have lived: Alaska, Eastern Washington and Seattle. I have cared for pets at all stages of their lives, from puppies and kittens to older, senior dogs and cats. My own beloved yellow lab, Izzy, died at age 14 and I cared for her to the end of her wonderful, long life. I am currently caring for a diabetic cat who gets insult with his meals, twice each day. I started seriously pet setting after I retired from 40 years of teaching I I provide quality care based on knowledge and experience so that owners know their pets and home are safe and lovingly cared for in their absence. Please see my reviews which attest to the good care I provide to my clients, animal and human! For dogs, and cats I provide care at your home. I am a writer and. retired so my schedule is flexible depending on you and your pet's needs. I prefer to stay in your home with you cat because they are happier in their own territory. I can also care for your dog in hig/her home or bring your dog to my condo. We have a large fenced property with safe trails and are located next door to a Bittrlake park. I will walk with your dog, play fetch, snuggle and give lots of ear and tummy rubs. I know that your pet will be most comfortable in their safe, familiar environment. Even though I helped start Magnuson Off Leash area, I prefer not to take dogs to the dog park where they can meet with aggressive dogs.
“Thomas cared for our cat and chickens while we were gone for about 10 days around the Christmas holiday, and he went above and beyond! First he braved the snow and ice during the Great Seattle Freeze, and he thawed out our chickens’ water which was frozen solid. Then as the freeze melted he alerted us that our basement had flooded! He helped turn the main water off and then proceeded to bring water to the house for the animals. When our flight home was cancelled and we had to extend our stay by an extra two days, he agreed to continue his visits even though our cat was being unkind to him. It was a relief to know that our pets were under his kind and competent care.”

About: I have taken care of my own childhood dogs, aswell as friends and families. I have experience walking, feeding, and bathing dogoes. And I will give them good company. My current schedule is pretty flexible. I am able to sit or drop in to take care of your babies almost any day of the week. I will make sure your fur babies are fed, watered, and kept good company! I will play with them as they desire. I have a lot of patience for shy or anxious pets; they will be in good hands with me! Sara has been very responsive during the entire pet sitting for my cat Yuanbao. She is very kind and patient sitter who loves animals. And she listens carefully to all my special needs for Yuanbao, and she shows up on time for every visit and made sure my bay cat eat and drink and play with him. Would recommend her to all people who look for pet sitter in the future.

Olivia was a great dog sitter. She was attentive, showed up on time, and very communicative with us. One of dogs wasn’t feeling very good and she made sure to give him extra attention, even got him to have his pills which is a challenge in itself. I highly recommend her services!

Jessica has helped us take care of our kitten Lucy multiple times, and we are very lucky to work with her. Great communication, frequent and detailed updates, and so good with our kitten. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind sitter!

My sweet Emerson was so excited today, on his 7th birthday, to have his new friend, Lauren, take him for a fun invigorating walk! I certainly can see why Lauren is so highly regarded by others who have hired her on Rover.com! She rates a 10+++ in my opinion as a highly trustworthy, personable, capable, knowledgeable dog sitter!
