“Ana was available to drop in twice to feed our dogs and let them out. She came to our house to meet them in advance. She was warm and friendly with our dogs and family and took time to listen to our dogs routines and behavior. She was on time for each visit and sent an update on how the dogs were doing. Our dogs are a bit nervous and she completely understood and knew how to handle them. We look forward to having her do drop ins with our dogs again.”

“Abbey & Gabriel B are amazing, they took care of my sweet little kitties wonderfully and felt confident we made the right choice picking them. Absolutely would book again!!”

“Danielle was awesome. She took great care of our two cats, dispersed one’s medicine, and did a few things around the house. I can recommend using her services!”

“Jill was a great sitter! I just went out of the country, so I was extra anxious about leaving my 2 kitties with a new sitter, but she put me at ease with great photos of them playing, and kept me updated about their eating habits. Will definitely book again :)”

“Leslie was amazing and kind with my cat Miles. Great communicator with lots of pics. Punctual and dependable. I will definitely book again if she will have us!”

“First time booking with Rover and had a spectacular experience with Ingrid! Super friendly, communicative and went above and beyond grabbing packages from outside and putting them in my house. Thanks a ton, Ingrid! Loki also thanks you :)”

“We couldn’t be happier with Emma. She: - immediately charmed our aging cat who is afraid of everyone - listened to our lengthy instructions and asked well-considered questions - had no problem with the cat’s complicated feeding regime, and adjusted medication as needed - provided excellent and prompt communication, including periodic visit reports - left everything in order after 2 weeks of cat care We hope Emma will be available for our next vacation!”

“Another great experience with Allie! She watched our kitty for the second time and took such great care of him during the drop in visits. She always sends the best photos and videos, and has been patient and caring with our quirky cat who has multiple personalities. We will be booking her again next time! Thanks Allie!”

“Rebecca is an all star. Her communication was perfect; she was competent and reliable; and I felt completely at ease knowing that my cats were in such good hands. I highly recommend Rebecca!!!”

About: Experienced Care for Your Pup :-) I’ve spent more than 15 years working with and training horses and dogs, including raising and training my own dogs from puppyhood. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, structured, and relationship-based approach that helps animals feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I’m happy to help with both ongoing routines and occasional support when schedules get busy, travel comes up, or your dog simply needs an extra walk or check-in. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I care deeply about creating a positive experience for both pets and their people. My resident pup, Hank, is a lil 28 pound Corgi / Cocker Spaniel mix who is great with most every guest in our house, but I've learned that big dogs with strong, dominant personalities can intimidate him (typically German Shepherds, Malinois, Boxers, Bully breeds). Retrievers, Setters and other bigger pups are typically fine :-) We also have one bossy resident cat who keeps to herself, but is good at firmly and safely setting boundaries with pups if needed - just a quick air swat and hiss. I’d love to meet you and your dog to see if we’re a good fit. I currently work from home, stepping out to walk my dog or to run errands. I also take Hank to the dog park every morning from 9 - 10am, as it's a stone's throw away. Once I get to know your dog and with your permission, dog park visits may be an option. Because of my experience, I’m often able to quickly assess a dog’s comfort level, energy, communication style, and individual needs - whether they need more structure, more patience, a slower introduction, reassurance, or simply space to settle in. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and adapting my approach to help them feel secure and successful. For boarding and in-home care, I prefer a quieter, lower-volume environment where dogs can receive more personalized attention. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medication needs, exercise levels, and behavioral cues to help dogs feel as comfortable and settled as possible. I am American Red Cross certified in Pet CPR (Certificate ID is 02D1BHP). You can expect: • dependable and professional communication • regular updates and photos • close attention to your dog’s routines and needs • thoughtful, individualized care I’m especially comfortable with: • anxious or sensitive dogs • senior dogs (who are mobile - I'm in a townhouse) • high-energy dogs who benefit from structure • puppies and younger dogs learning routines • dogs who need patience, consistency, and calm handling My approach is calm, attentive, and grounded in trust and consistency. I understand how important routines, communication, and environment are for animals, and I strive to create a positive, low-stress experience while they’re in my care. I offer: • dog walking • one-off or occasional walks • repeat weekly walks • drop-in visits • overnight boarding in my home • daytime companionship and care
About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and other pets. I grew up in a home with animals and have been responsible for feeding, walking, basic training, and daily care for dogs of all ages. My home has also been a safe, comfortable space for Rover clients through my family’s pet care, giving me experience with many different dogs, routines, and personalities. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, shy dogs, and everything in between. I always focus on safety, communication, and making sure every pet feels happy and cared for. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I take care of my own dog at home. I’m responsible for feeding, walks, exercise, playtime, and keeping a consistent schedule. I make sure my dog gets plenty of attention, and outdoor time, so fitting in walks and drop‑ins for other pets feels natural for me. Caring for my own dog has taught me patience, consistency, and how to adjust routines based on each pet’s needs. Safety and trust are always my priorities. At home, pets have a calm, supervised environment, and I’m used to managing feeding, exercise, and routines because I care for my own dog daily. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and maintain their dog’s normal routine. No matter where I’m caring for a pet, I focus on clear communication, safety, and making sure every dog and client feels comfortable and knows they're in good hands.
“Marcia was very friendly and great with our kitten. We were nervous to leave her alone for the first time, but Marcia sent lots of pictures and took a lot of our worry away. Will definitely be contacting her again in the future :)”

About: Ever since I was a child I have loved animals and they love me. I often find myself being followed by cats when I 'm on walks or being approached and greeted by dogs at parks. They give me a sense of calm and I enjoy giving them and their humans reassurance that they are well cared for. I currently have one large Cane Corso and one small Persian Himalayan...guess which one is the boss? I hope you will entrust me with your furry family to provide them with what they and you need. My daily schedule is rather flexible so I am able to adjust according to your needs. Whether it's a consistent schedule or as needed, I’m usually able to accommodate. As a guest in your space I always respect your needs and requests for the furry family! I'm happy to do walks, play in the yard or relax and play inside.
“Justin was professional and very communicative. He was nice enough to come meet our dogs a few days prior so that our shy dog might be more comfortable. I definitely recommend his services!”
About: I think cats are the most amazing creatures, and I know how important it is to have a sitter who genuinely loves spending time with them on their terms (and their human’s terms!) Playful kitties, shy kitties, kittens, seniors, cats with special needs... I love them all. I had 2 cats for 18 years and saw them through all sorts of medical issues - from eye drops to pilling to subQ fluids. One of them was an aggressive love-biter and I’m accustomed to teeth and claws. I now have two 18-month-olds who I adopted at 10 weeks. They are harness trained and love to go outside. We’re also clicker training which is a ton of fun. While they aren’t prodigies by any means, they love training sessions! I work full time but have a varied and somewhat flexible schedule. I can usually make any time of day work and I’m often available on weekends. I want to know indoor/outdoor protocols, and am diligent about not letting indoor kitties out. I clean my own litter box daily and will do the same with yours. Aside from that I will give them what they need to be comfortable and happy while you’re away - whether that’s playtime, chin scratches, treats, or just quiet and a fresh bowl of food. I’ll be on the look out for anything that looks awry - like something they may have gotten into or any concerns about your house.
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Dog Walker! Jordan is fantastic - reliable, caring, and professional. My dog comes home happy and tired after every walk. Jordan sends updates with photos and is flexible with scheduling. My pup always gets excited when Jordan arrives! Highly recommend - 5 stars!”

About: Hi! I'm Kate, a lifelong dog lover living in Ballard with my husband and our sweet 13-year-old Weimaraner mix, Duncan. I'm currently taking a career sabbatical, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care. Whether your pup needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or devoted extra attention while you're away, I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and personalized care. I've previously been a Rover sitter and am excited to start again! I know how important it is to find someone you trust, and I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. One of my favorite ways to spend the day is exploring the neighborhood on foot. Duncan and I regularly walk around Ballard, including the Ballard Locks, Golden Gardens, Sunset Hill, and the many quiet neighborhood streets. Whether your dog enjoys a leisurely stroll or a more energetic outing, I'm happy to match their pace and routine. I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you always know how your pup is doing while they're in my care. I'd love to meet you and your pup! I'm currently taking a career sabbatical, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits most days. I love getting outside for walks, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my routine. I'm also happy to work with your dog's normal schedule to help keep things as consistent as possible. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I'll follow your routines as closely as possible, whether that's feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, or reinforcing the habits you're working on at home. I always use secure leash handling, pay close attention to each dog's comfort level around people and other dogs, and never take unnecessary risks. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you know your pup is happy and doing well.
“Courtney was great! Courteous, thoughtful, and thorough. She made it seem like my cat is very easy to take care of (despite some odd feeding rituals we've got), and I felt very comfortable leaving him in Courtney's care.”

Simran was such a detailed communicator, and so good with my kitty Rocky! The meet & greet was thorough, she made sure to cover all the bases I missed, and I'm beyond grateful that her attention and warmth was available to us. Such a pro. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Ingrid is the best!! She goes above and beyond every visit. She takes so may great pictures, gives detailed descriptions of behavior, is super communicative, and I can tell how happy my cats are to have her around! I could not reccommend her more strongly. Thanks Ingrid!!!

Machele is an excellent dog walker. She’s professional, punctual, and asks detailed questions about our dog to ensure excellent care is given. We will be using her services again for both walks and the next time we go on a trip. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you, Machele! 😁

There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude and overall recommendation for Deanna! She helped us with a unique request for our pup and dealt with many detours along the way with nothing but kindness and humanity. Canyon looks forward to future walks with her!
