Pet care experience

Loving care when you’re not there.

*** Serving Ballard, Fremont, Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Green Lake, Wallingford & nearby areas (including Sunset Hill, Loyal Heights & West Woodland). I’m your neighborhood cat & small dog sitter. I’ve cared for animals my whole life — from young rescues to senior pets — and I treat every client’s pet as if they were my own. My goal is simple: keep your pet safe, comfortable, and emotionally supported while you’re away. I provide calm, consistent drop-in visits in your home so your pet can stay in their familiar environment and routine. Each visit includes fresh food and water, litter box cleaning or potty care, a home check, and quality one-on-one time. I tailor interaction to your pet’s personality — play for active pets, brushing and gentle companionship for seniors or shy ones — and I always send detailed Rover cards with photos so you have peace of mind. I specialize in cats and small dogs only. I do not care for exotic animals, birds, fish, plants, pick up heavy packages/mail, or move parked cars. Medication is considered on a case-by-case basis and only for pets I already have an established relationship with and who tolerate it well. For new clients, we can discuss this during a meet & greet. I plan my schedule by neighborhood so I can be punctual and fully present at each visit. Pet sitting is my full-time work, not a side gig, and I take the trust you place in me — your home and your pet — very seriously. If your pet needs reliable care, routine, and genuine attention while you’re away, I’m here for them.

Ally is amazing! Our cats love her and she’s the first person we go to when we need someone to look after them. Super thorough and spends time playing and engaging with them! She even brings her own toys!

Ally was an amazing cat sitter. She was thorough with our cats’s feeding schedule and gave them lots of love and play while we were gone for a week. She even went above and beyond to take our cat Leo to see emergency doctor when his upper respiratory issue flared up. My husband and I were really grateful for her patience and kindness.

This is a hard review to write because in some ways Ally went above and beyond, but I will not be booking with her again. The good: It seemed like she played with my cats more than any other sitter I've booked. The bad: Can't be relied upon to follow instructions. One of my cats was vomiting, so I asked her to separate them so we'd be able to know for sure who it was and track litterbox usage. (This is the first thing that a vet asks, every time.) The next day Ally messaged me that she was NOT going to separate them because she thought they'd be happier together. Luckily, I saw that message while she was still there. It took a phone call to convince her, but she did eventually separate them -- her comment was that it broke her heart to have a cat meowing on the far side of a door, and that doing things like that wasn't why she got into this job. I messaged that they needed to stay separated for the rest of my trip ... and the following day, she left them together. To her credit, when I pushed back on this, she did go back to separate them, but that also shouldn't have been necessary. (She also did not report number of pees/poops, just that she scooped -- the vet and I would have very much appreciated more detail there, particularly trying to figure out how sick my cat was. I wound up having to get a friend to take my cat to the emergency vet.)

Ally took great care of my two timid cats, and made sure they were comfortable and had all their necessities. She went above and beyond in keeping their food and water clean and is great at communicating and keeping you up to date with pictures

Schedule

Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my day is structured around my clients’ visits. I plan my routes by neighborhood to be on time and fully present at each home. This allows me to provide consistent care, detailed updates, and flexibility for morning, midday, or evening visits when needed.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Ally can host up to 10 drop-ins per day
Please share your pet’s feeding schedule, hiding spots, medical needs, and how they respond to new people. I administer medication only for pets I already have an established relationship with and who tolerate it well. For new clients, we can discuss this during a meet & greet to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
