“Maria was an awesome dog sitter for Luna! She sent lots of photos and updated every day. I could tell from the pictures that Luna was having a great time and was well taken care of. Maria followed all of our instructions and we felt really comfortable leaving Luna with her. We’ll definitely be using Maria again!”

“Amazing! I booked a last minute stay over Fourth of July weekend and Mana was so accommodating. She squeezed in a pre stay introduction for the dogs, then took amazing care of Obi over the three days. I got so many photos (and a video) and she even refilled my poop bag dispenser from her own stash when ours ran out and sent obi home with a little extra treat. Outstanding sitter, would book again without hesitation.”

“Sofia has been a perfect fit for us and our dog. She was easy to communicate with and flexible in scheduling. We really enjoyed working with her and was happy to see photo and video updates throughout her time caring for our dog. Looking forward to seeing her again soon and so is Winston!”

“Gabby was a great sitter for Birdie. She was very kind with regards to Birdie's puppy antics and made sure that Birdie was well exercised and loved. I would definitely book Gabby again in the future. Thank you!”

“Alexa was a fantastic care taker to my two border collies. I got frequent pictures and videos and it was clear my dogs settled in early! They were right at home. Alexa was incredibly communicative throughout their stay and I would absolutely use her again in the future. Your pets would be lucky to stay with her!”

“Vadzim was incredibly responsive with updates and photos of our pups. We felt very comfortable with them in his care. He let them get cozy on the couch and bed like they do at home and took them on walks! Highly recommend! Will be using Vadzim any time we need a dog sitter 🙂”

“Eleanor was absolutely amazing with our pups while we were traveling internationally. She kept us at ease with consistent updates and lots of photos, which we really appreciated. It was clear they were in great hands the entire time. We’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Cathleen took excellent care of Daisy. Second time we had Cathleen watch her & she ran to the door at drop off. We really appreciated the frequent updates and pictures. Could tell Daisy loved her time there.”

“We are so glad to have had Tiffany watch Poppy for a longer stay while we got married! We were updated with adorable photos, she even did a little photoshoot and sent us home with a very cute printed pic of Poppy. Communication was easy and Tiffany was flexible when we had a change in plans to pick Poppy up early. Thank you so much for keeping her in good care, we would definitely recommend Tiffany and would love to have Poppy stay with her again.”

“Jessica is amazing! She sent TONS of high quality photos of our dog every day. We can tell she took great care of him and he had an awesome time. We would definitely recommend her and plan on boarding our dog with her again!”

About: Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with all kinds of dogs: farm dogs, little dogs, a Great Dane in a studio apartment, and now our Mini Australian Shepherd. We have learned and refined our dog ownership skills over time, finally investing in professional training for both our dog and ourselves in 2025. That experience shaped the kind of care I offer today. I believe dogs thrive with clear structure, consistency, and calm communication. I strive to provide the kind of boarding experience I wish I could find for my own dog, where training, routines, and boundaries are respected while you're away. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, daily walks, and a very friendly Mini Australian Shepherd who enjoys canine company. Your dog won't be left alone for a typical workday. I do leave the house for school drop-offs and pick-ups, errands, or weekend activities. Dogs should be comfortable being alone for a few hours. Because I have both a young child and my own dog, I only accept dogs that: -Are friendly with children and other dogs. -Are up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. -Can comfortably settle into a family home.
“My dog, Sabi, was super happy to stay at Matthew's house with his dogs Lady and Nelson. Lady even got my dog to play with her, which is a rare thing (my dog is usually most interested in people if tennis balls aren't available). I received tons of photos and videos during the stay, which was wonderful. I could tell from the photos that Sabi was immediately comfortable with Matthew and his pups - she was on the couch, bed, and a chair with his dogs, roaming in the backyard, and as excited for her meals as she normally is at home.”
“What a kind and generous family! This was Winston's first stay with Amanda and Noah. I was glad he was staying with a family who owned and know Frenchies as they have their specific needs and energy level. Amanda had shared about her previous Frenchie who passed a couple of months ago and said it was wonderful to have Winston spend some time with them now, especially with their children and dog. Winston had some of his classic GI challenges in a new environment and I received detailed information each day. He received lots of cuddles and love. I was not at all worried leaving him with Amanda. She also shared some tips on food choices and nutrition from her previous experience as a Frenchie owner. Winston came home clean, relaxed, happy and well. I definitely will request Amanda and Noah to take care of Winston in the future. Great find!”

“I highly recommend Laure & Matthew! Their house is on a quiet street with a big backyard and I received pictures and updates daily. My dog, Gracie, is a rescue with a few issues - she has 3 legs, is food obsessive, has a high prey drive for squirrels, and doesn’t like to walk on wood floors (lol). They worked with all of her quirks and I knew she was well taken care of. In the future, I will rebook with Laure/Matthew to watch Gracie anytime I’m out of town - I’ve already rebooked for next weekend!”

“He was so kind and took wonderful care of my dog! Made sure everything was talked through before I left him overnight, I had no doubt my dog was going to be taken good care of.”

“Anna was extremely responsive and sent us lots of photos throughout our dog’s stay. We felt very comfortable with her watching our pup and will certainly use her again for future sitting needs.”
“Ana took amazing care of my dog! She gave me frequent updates and pictures about how my pup was doing. I could tell how much love, attention, and care her and her daughter were giving to my dog. They took her on frequent walks and even took her hiking! I very strongly recommend Ana!!”

“My 2 dogs were so lucky to have Diane as their weekend Mom. She spoiled them rotten and took extra good care of my anxious old doggy. I definitely recommend”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Beach
Our pup is always so excited to stay with Andrew and Cassie and their friendly pup Piper! Anytime we pass their home on walks, Leila tries to pull towards it. She always comes back happy and like she had a great time! We always appreciate Andrew’s communication, punctuality, and flexibility. Would absolutely recommend!

Laura was amazing. Highly responsive, and gave many updates throughout the stay. Our pup looked so happy in all the photos and videos that were sent. We are so happy with how Laura cared for our puppy. She went above and beyond to make sure our dog felt comfortable the whole time we were away. You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, every update felt personal, not like a routine check-in. Our pup came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking with Laura again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive sitter!

Rose was AMAZING! She was so attentive, flexible, prompt, responsive, and very caring in watching our pup. Our puppy, who is less than a year old, was high energy, had some separation anxiety, and needed lots of stimulation, exercise, and cuddles, and Rose provided phenomenal care for her. We got lots of updates, which was awesome to get despite us not having time to respond. Our pup came back wiped out, super happy-tired, and even cried on the way home because she didn't want to leave. Bhodi was a great dog friend for our pup and we are so happy with how comfortable Rose made our pup feel.

Ayesha was great with our new rescue pup Kevin, and understanding of his nerves in a new environment and him taking some time to settle in. She gave us a lot of great feedback to set Kevin up for success in future rover stays. Kevin had a great time hanging with her pup Sasha too!

Vadzim was an angel dealing with our very finicky elder dog who experienced from separation anxiety. He really went above and beyond to understand him and provided very reliable frequent updates every day which showed the progress and how much our dog was able to relax with him. We’re incredibly grateful!

Sara is great with Zeus since he was a puppy who is now 19 months. He is always happy around her and she takes great care of him ensuring he get all his exercise and hugs. Love Sara’s positive attitude, she is reliable and amazing around Zeus. We adore her.

Ken took great care of our dog while we were away! It was the longest we’ve been gone before and we felt like she was in great hands. He made sure to give us frequent updates and photos which we looked forward to. Our dog Autumn seemed right at home there and she looked happy upon picking her up. Would recommend! Thank you Ken!

Incredible best sitter EVER and we have lots of friends who sit for us and love our dog, but Anand is almost a pet psychic! He really looked into my little anxious chiweenie’s heart and walked him, played with him and gave great advice on how to make our dog more socially acclimated. Above and beyond the job description we will call on him again!

We can't recommend Tracy enough! We did a meet and greet beforehand, so by drop-off day Arya was already excited and comfortable with her. Tracy was also great about flexible drop off/pick up times. What really stood out was her communication detailed updates every single day, and she'd always beat us to texting before we even had to ask. Total peace of mind knowing Arya was in such good hands. We'll definitely book with Tracy again and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your dog like family.

Diane was absolutely fantastic. Picture updates were provided daily. To our surprise, our dog actually ate her food! Typically when we r away she refuses to eat for the first 3-4 days but not this time. Her change in behavior is a testament to how safe and happy our dog was with Diane. We were strategizing on the way to pick up our dog as to how we were going to get her to leave. Thank you Diane! You’re amazing.

Dawnula did a great job with my dogs, Sergeant & Dr. Robert. One of them had an upset tummy, and she went out of her way to feed him some pumpkin to help him get more regular. She did a great job of checking in daily and sending a few pictures. She was also a great communicator. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Brittany was so great with our pup Olive! I immediately felt comfortable leaving Olive with Brittany, she was so kind, communicative and responsive. She kept us up to date throughout her stay, gave her lots of walks, playtime and belly rubs. I hope to book with Brittany again!
