“Matt was wonderful. He accommodated us with less than 24 hours for a meet and greet that night and day care the next. His place is great with a nice sized yard. He communicated extremely well with pictures throughout the day. He’s super friendly and I highly recommend him.”

“Sofia has been wonderful with my shy guy dog with separation anxiety. Her adorable dog, Dona, has such great calming energy and seems to be a great friend and mentor for my dog. Sofia is great with updates and communication, and is a natural dog person. I’m so grateful to have found her!”

“Felix was lovely to work with and took great care of our dog Reign! We received regular updates, photos, and videos and felt comfortable with Reign’s introduction and play time with Felix’s dog, Mabel. We definitely hope to work with Felix again in the future and would highly recommend his care!”

“We’ve been hesitant to use rover and drop off our 5 month old puppy with a relative stranger, but Stephen put us at ease right away! He is kind, communicative and responds instantly. His dog and the few other pups he has on any given day are playful and sweet. We will be asking Stephen to watch our dog when the need arises. Thanks!!!”

“Kiko had an amazing couple of days with Ms. Elise. She kept me updated with how the days were going and provided some great photos. We are looking forward to the next visit!”

About: Experienced Care for Your Pup :-) I’ve spent more than 15 years working with and training horses and dogs, including raising and training my own dogs from puppyhood. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, structured, and relationship-based approach that helps animals feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I’m happy to help with both ongoing routines and occasional support when schedules get busy, travel comes up, or your dog simply needs an extra walk or check-in. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I care deeply about creating a positive experience for both pets and their people. My resident pup, Hank, is a lil 28 pound Corgi / Cocker Spaniel mix who is great with most every guest in our house, but I've learned that big dogs with strong, dominant personalities can intimidate him (typically German Shepherds, Malinois, Boxers, Bully breeds). Retrievers, Setters and other bigger pups are typically fine :-) We also have one bossy resident cat who keeps to herself, but is good at firmly and safely setting boundaries with pups if needed - just a quick air swat and hiss. I’d love to meet you and your dog to see if we’re a good fit. I currently work from home, stepping out to walk my dog or to run errands. I also take Hank to the dog park every morning from 9 - 10am, as it's a stone's throw away. Once I get to know your dog and with your permission, dog park visits may be an option. Because of my experience, I’m often able to quickly assess a dog’s comfort level, energy, communication style, and individual needs - whether they need more structure, more patience, a slower introduction, reassurance, or simply space to settle in. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and adapting my approach to help them feel secure and successful. For boarding and in-home care, I prefer a quieter, lower-volume environment where dogs can receive more personalized attention. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medication needs, exercise levels, and behavioral cues to help dogs feel as comfortable and settled as possible. You can expect: • dependable and professional communication • regular updates and photos • close attention to your dog’s routines and needs • thoughtful, individualized care I’m especially comfortable with: • anxious or sensitive dogs • senior dogs (who are mobile - I'm in a townhouse) • high-energy dogs who benefit from structure • puppies and younger dogs learning routines • dogs who need patience, consistency, and calm handling My approach is calm, attentive, and grounded in trust and consistency. I understand how important routines, communication, and environment are for animals, and I strive to create a positive, low-stress experience while they’re in my care. I offer: • dog walking • one-off or occasional walks • repeat weekly walks • drop-in visits • overnight boarding in my home • daytime companionship and care

“Ayesha was so great! She was happy to accommodate a few last minute changes in our schedule, and she took great care of our dog! He had a great time with her. We hope we can have her take care of our pup again!”

“My 7 month old goldendoodle, Koda spent the day with Dylan while our yard was going through an extensive overhaul. Koda had a great time with Dylan. He took walks and enjoyed playing at the park. Koda is definitely looking forward to seeing Dylan again!”

“Lily had a great time at daycare with Lindsay and Steven! They have a lovely house with a yard for the dogs to play, and I could tell they gave great attention to lily all day.”

“Callie always takes amazing care of Salem (and also sends the cutest photos of him!). He always enjoys his time at Callie's place and is eager to rush towards the door whenever we go to drop him off”

“Dad was an amazing doggy daycare host for my 1 year old Golden Retriever. We recieved frequent updates with photos of her at the park and sleeping at his home on the couch. We would definitely make another request in the future. Thank you!”

“Brandon and Ashley took great care of my pup on short notice. He was clearly happy in their care and was pretty sad about having to leave! Much appreciated and hope he gets another chance to visit them”

About: When I was just a little kid a big parrot flew into our house, and I kept it as a pet from the age of 6 to 18. Then when I went off to college my parents took care of it. After college I helped take care of my sister’s dogs. And I lived with a girl for a while who owned two cats that I took care of so I have lots of experience with different animals. I even used to own a guinea pig at one point in my life. So my entire life has revolved around taking care of pets. So I figured this would be a great job for me. I’m extremely loving and caring and will treat your pets just like I would mind. I’m a very loving and caring person. I currently am unemployed. I’m looking for a job, but as of right now, my schedule is fully open. So please hit me up whenever I need the money. Well, besides the basics like feeding them and making sure they’re going to the bathroom and drinking water, I always play with them. Show them attention when they want attention and don’t show them attention when they don’t want attention. I’m pretty good at reading body language of an animal. I love playing with dogs and cats. I know it’s important for them to get out their energy so they can have a good night sleep. I love going on walks. So I also do that in anything else like taking them to the dog park
“Kelsi and Piper are so great! We have a young and very energetic puppy and Kelsi seemed to really bond with him and he came home so tired! Piper, her dog, is the sweetest! Can’t wait to go back!”

“Kristen was amazing with our newly adopted shelter pup! We did a small meet & greet the day before and after I dropped my dog off, she provided picture/text updates. Not only that, but she helped bring the dog supplies and bed back to my car since my hands were full. First time using Rover and was definitely nervous especially since we only had Saber for about 2 months; but she set the bar at a great height.”

“Kristen is great! She helped me out for doggy day care when I was in a bind and needed some last minute help. She was very attentive to my dog’s special quirks and provided updates throughout the day. I felt at ease leaving my pup with Kristen for the day. Highly recommend!”

We booked Felix on short notice for evening daycare, and he was very thoughtful in assessing whether our dog would be a good fit for his setup. We really appreciated the detailed updates and feedback throughout the stay. Felix has a strong understanding of dog behavior and group dynamics, which gave us peace of mind, and our somewhat nervous dog seemed to fit right in with his pack. Thanks Felix!

Bodie had the best day ever staying with Eleni! She sent tons of pictures throughout the day and even got my picky pup to eat all his food! It was clear that she loves animals and takes very good care of them. We would love to have to her watch him again!

Jenny and Ryan were awesome sitters for our dog Reign! They accommodated a last minute request and were easy to communicate with. Reign definitely had a good time in their company—she was zonked on the way home! I will certainly reach out to work with them again in the future.

Rari absolutely loves her time with Bonnie so much so that it seems like she never wants to leave when we pick her up 🥲 Bonnie is the best and takes care of Rari as if she were her own. She is constantly providing updates and pictures during each and every sitting. 1000% recommend her to anyone who wants the best for their pup! We love you Bonnie!

Elise is the best! Super communicative, adheres to all instructions, and most importantly she’s a really kind human. Elise takes great care of our dog Reign, who gets so excited as soon as we pull up to her door! Elise has been flexible with our timing and easy to work with. We are thrilled to have found her in the Rover network!
