WFH Dog Lover Seeking Companion!

The past three years I've been living with and taking care of a blind, senior dog who is reactive (Eli). Eli has taught me so much about consent testing and being attuned to body language. I have also cared for other senior dogs while friends have been away. I'm very comfortable with large dogs (aka body pillows..with consent of course). I love getting outside during the day for walks and would love to add a furry friend for some company since Eli and his moms moved far away and I don’t get to care for him as often as I’d like!

Kathryn was great with my dog Zeppelin. Zeppelin can be a little dramatic and anxious when being dropped off but Kathryn took him out for a walk to keep him busy and helped him settle in for his stay. She shared photos and was easy to communicate with, I'll definitely be rebooking with her for future stays!

It was our first time boarding our German Shepherd with Kate. She did an excellent job taking care of our pup and checked in with us when she thought something felt off. 5/5 experience! We'll definitely contact Kate again for future stays.

Kate is a fantastic sitter! She takes time to get to know the dog and adjusts her approach as needed. She is kind, knowledgeable, and understands dog body language. Recommend!

Schedule

I work from home full-time so I'm very flexible with my schedule during the day for fur babies who need extra attention. I am happy to board throughout the entire week and/or weekend with appropriate notice.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I have a small backyard for your baby to hang out in. I live on the top floor of a triplex home and on of the bottom floor neighbors has a sweet dog, her name is Sam and she's very friendly, but our yards are separated so if no contact is desired that is entirely possible. I have a separate room that I used for my office and can house any crate you desire to bring.

A typical day

I live in a great. neighborhood in Fremont where I've walked my sister's dog daily for the past three years. Everyone is very friendly and people keep their dog's leashed and are very conscientious about crossing the street when you come upon another dog in case their dog(s) or your dog(s) are reactive.
