About: With 25 years of experience as the owner of a mixed breed black lab and two cats I have cared for friends’ dogs throughout the year, sometimes for up to a month. I have taken care of small and large dogs and a few senior dogs including one with spinal and urinal issues. Located in the Ballard neighborhood we’re just minutes away from beautiful beaches, a dog park with nature trails and a variety of safe urban trails for your pup to explore. A fun fact - As a photographer, my above mentioned lab Sam was the first cover dog of the ‘Best Hikes with Dogs’ guide for Mountaineers Books. I'm glad to take professional pics of your pet when with me! I have a flexible schedule as a self employed writer and photographer and am home often and free to walk with your dog and watch your cat when needed. I have a fully fenced back yard and spacious home in a nice the neighborhood of Ballard. I'm an outdoorsy person and open to regular walks all year and other activities such as ball throwing, beaches, dog parks etc. I am open for your dog or cat to be with me on the couch and bed or where you’re most comfortable. I've been taking care of a friend's dog for years who is now a senior at 13. She has spinal and urinal tract issues which we've been trained to assist her with. She takes several pills a day both orally via pill pockets or mixed in food. I also have experience with cats throughout their life and into their senior years.
