A Friend for Your Little/Big Guy <3

I’ve had my family dog, Teddy, for over 11 years, ever since she was a tiny puppy with significantly more teeth than she has now. She doesn’t currently live with me, but growing up with her has given me a lot of experience with a full spectrum of pet life, from puppy chaos to senior naps, slower walks, and very strong opinions. I’ve also been a trusted godparent of several friends’ fur babies over the years, from sleepy senior shih-tzu mixes to velcro pitties to a cat who definitely secretly thinks he's Spider-Man. I genuinely love getting to know each little guy’s quirks, routines, boundaries, and preferred amount of attention, whether that means lots of playtime, a very specific dinner ritual, or simply being nearby while they take a cat nap.

Hello everyone, Just wanted to put on the record that winnie was exceptional with my dog Lucas he is a german shepherd who can definitely be quite a handful. She regularly updated me on anything that was going on and ensured that my lovely dog was walked and used the potty if needed of course. She is always willing to take on any opportunity to take care of him. i have had the pleasure of her professionalism and courtesy while she took care of my good boy. Highly recommended WILL NOT REGRET!!!

Winnie is an amazing and trusted dog-sitter for my dog Bridget! I never have to worry about leaving Bridget in Winnies care because I know Bridget is in loving, safe hands. Winnie is reliable and Bridget loves and gets excited seeing her. Winnie is very watchful because there isn’t an issue with Bridget running out the house, even though she tends to bolt out open doors a lot. I would 100% recommend Winnie as a dog-sitter because of how well she can handle and watch after my dog Bridget.

Winnie has an incredible attention to detail when it comes to my children. I was put in a peculiar spot, as my two cats, King and Hyde, have very opposite personalities: King loves attention and loves jumping on top of platforms, while Hyde is extremely shy and refuses to even appear in front of guests on the first day. Within the week, Winnie adapted very quickly to the hot and cold attitudes and allowed herself to become a beacon of attention for King and a safe space for Hyde to come out. I was surprised, as the only other person Hyde would ever sit on was my mother. In short, I don't believe I will ask anyone else before I ask Winnie with my kids.

Winnie was a wonderful dog sitting! She was super reliable and great with my dog, she treated her like her own. I really appreciated how communicative she was, and regular updates and photos she gave. My dog had an amazing time with Winnie. We would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter that’s dependable!

Schedule

I recently finished grad school and am currently applying for jobs from home, which means I spend a lot of my day at my computer and would be extremely delighted to have a coworker keeping me company. Your pet will never be out of sight, and I have plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, meals, medication, potty breaks, or lots and lots of belly rubs. And if I’m being honest, your fur baby will be doing me just as much of a favor by reminding me to step away from my laptop every once in a while and touch some grass (literally or metaphorically). I’m also happy to bring that same routine to your home for house sitting, so your pet can stay comfortable in their own space.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m a guest in your home or your fur baby is visiting mine, my goal is to make their routine feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m very tidy, attentive, respectful of your space, and mindful of the little things that help them feel more comfortable. I’ll follow your care instructions diligently, respond to your pet’s needs quickly and gently, and do my best to keep their environment calm, safe, and fun. I’m also big on communication, so I’m more than happy to send regular updates, photos, and little check-ins, if you’d like. And I’ll always reach out if I notice anything unusual or have a question about their care. I do live in an apartment, so I don’t have a private yard, but my building has a lovely open courtyard where your pet can get some fresh air and explore. For dogs who need more outdoor time, I’m also flexible with building regular walks and potty breaks into their routine. And indoors, I have plenty of open space for them to roam, play, stretch out, and make themselves at home. More than anything, I want you to feel at ease leaving your fur baby in my care. I know how much that trust means, and I’ll always do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

A typical day

A typical day with me is pretty easygoing: some fresh air in the morning, breakfast, and then settling into whatever pace your pet prefers. I’ll usually spend part of the day at my desk with them nearby. Throughout the day, I like to mix in walks, playtime, or just some extra attention depending on their mood. Evenings are usually a little cozier, with dinner and time to wind down before bed. I’m also very much the kind of person who will talk to pets like a tiny roommate, so they’ll always have plenty of company.

The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better I can make them feel at home! I’d love to know about their usual routine, any medical, behavioral, or environmental needs, alongside any charming little quirks that make them unique (e.g. what makes them nervous, what helps them settle, if they have an archnemesis on your usual walking route, etc.). I’d also appreciate a heads-up about anything they’re especially sensitive to! Any house rules you’d like me to reinforce, and what “normal” looks like for them day to day.
