About: Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with all kinds of dogs: farm dogs, little dogs, a Great Dane in a studio apartment, and now our Mini Australian Shepherd. We have learned and refined our dog ownership skills over time, finally investing in professional training for both our dog and ourselves in 2025. That experience shaped the kind of care I offer today. I believe dogs thrive with clear structure, consistency, and calm communication. I strive to provide the kind of boarding experience I wish I could find for my own dog, where training, routines, and boundaries are respected while you're away. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, daily walks, and a very friendly Mini Australian Shepherd who enjoys canine company. Your dog won't be left alone for a typical workday. I do leave the house for school drop-offs and pick-ups, errands, or weekend activities. Dogs should be comfortable being alone for a few hours. Because I have both a young child and my own dog, I only accept dogs that: -Are friendly with children and other dogs. -Are up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. -Can comfortably settle into a family home.

I was glad he was staying with a family who owned and know Frenchies as they have their specific needs and energy level. Amanda had shared about her previous Frenchie who passed a couple of months ago and said it was wonderful to have Winston spend some time with them now, especially with their children and dog. Winston had some of his classic GI challenges in a new environment and I received detailed information each day. He received lots of cuddles and love. I was not at all worried leaving him with Amanda. She also shared some tips on food choices and nutrition from her previous experience as a Frenchie owner. About: I think cats are the most amazing creatures, and I know how important it is to have a sitter who genuinely loves spending time with them on their terms (and their human’s terms!) Playful kitties, shy kitties, kittens, seniors, cats with special needs... I love them all. I had 2 cats for 18 years and saw them through all sorts of medical issues - from eye drops to pilling to subQ fluids. One of them was an aggressive love-biter and I’m accustomed to teeth and claws. I now have two 18-month-olds who I adopted at 10 weeks. They are harness trained and love to go outside. We’re also clicker training which is a ton of fun. While they aren’t prodigies by any means, they love training sessions!

I grew up in a home with animals and have been responsible for feeding, walking, basic training, and daily care for dogs of all ages. About: I was never a babysitter growing up but always the pet sitter. I love dogs but simply cannot commit to the dog lifestyle. I have one cat of my own (who is demanding in her own unique cat way). I would be over the moon to give some TLC to your critter(s) :) I'm happy to drop in for a quick potty break and a frolic outside, to take your pup out for a nice long walk, or to take care of your dog while you're out of town but would rather not use a kennel.
