About: I have a special love for greyhounds and spent six wonderful years caring for my retired racer, who had a high prey drive, was easily startled in his sleep, and wasn’t socialized with other breeds. I worked closely with a trainer to help him become more comfortable around other dogs during walks. That experience taught me to be patient, observant, and respectful of each dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand every pup is different, and I’ll do my best to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy in my care. Safety is always my top priority, and I believe every dog deserves to feel loved and content. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so having a pup around fits naturally into my day. I’m used to taking my dog out for 3–4 walks a day and can easily work walks and potty breaks into my routine. I’m also happy to accommodate shorter, ad-hoc walks around the neighborhood when needed. I enjoy having a little four-legged company while I work, and I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. Your pup will be the only boarding guest in our home, so they’ll get plenty of one-on-one attention and a calm, relaxed environment. Our townhouse has a secured entry and doorbell camera, and dogs are welcome to roam freely and lounge on the furniture. I work from home, and my husband works from home as well, so your pup will have company most of the day and will only be left alone briefly when we need to run an errand. For safety, all walks are leash-only, and we have a baby gate to safely limit access to our stairs when needed—especially for senior dogs or pups who may not be comfortable with stairs. My priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with us.

“While this 5 star review may read as alarming, we were in fact very pleased with Christopher and his response. We had a good meet and greet with Christopher and his dogs, our dogs played together and our dog Demi explored his yard area which we examined. Unfortunately when boarding her we learned something critical about Demi, the discovery process for which was very stressful for everyone involved. Our dog turns out to be able to jump to the top of a 6 foot wooden fence and walk along the top. We know this because Christopher was supervising and saw it happen. After she jumped down to the other side, he sprung into action. He was then able to corral her into another neighbor's front yard and called us as Demi was avoiding his attempts to recapture. We drove over and quickly located Christopher and the neighbors he had recruited and collected Demi who was happy and healthy. While Demi temporarily escaping to the neighborhood was shocking, Christopher's actions leading up to that were in line with our expectations and his actions in response were commendable.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life, I grew up with them. I took care of my adopted dog since I was a teenager since he was a puppy, that taught me how to train dogs and take care of them. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I work from home and can take care of any pet the whole week. I like to go on evening walks and can take pets with us! I live in a spacious apartment with a courtyard with a pet relief area. My area is very walkable and with a lot of green zones.
