About: I'm new to Rover, but not new to pet care! For the past 4 years, I have been a volunteer at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, dedicating 2 hours a week to working with shelter dogs. I am extremely experienced with a variety of different types of dogs and I'm often asked to work with the more high needs dogs at the shelter (high energy, anxious around new humans, etc) because of my expertise. In addition to my work at the shelter, I have a regular client whose two dogs I have been walking weekly for a year, but I am hoping to expand my services. I am a teacher, so over the summer my schedule is extremely flexible. During the school year, I work 7:30-3:00 Monday-Friday so I am available in the late afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I live in Capitol Hill, but I'm willing to travel and I do have a car. I will happily follow any directions you leave in terms of dog care. While I don't specifically have experience caring for dogs in their own home, I believe that my experience working with shelter dogs gives me the flexibility and adaptability to meet your unique needs.

Dorothy responded to our request when a Trusted House Sitter left us two days early while we were out of town. It was a really difficult and awkward situation and Dorothy stepped right in to take care of our 15-year-old Springer spaniel and all that entails. She was gentle and understanding and an excellent communicator. Calvin was clearly comfortable with her. She has a sensitivity to animals and situations that is very important. I will definitely reach out to Dorothy again.
Falcor, who’s usually slow to warm up to new people, took to Brian right away. Brian clearly loves animals and is extremely attentive to their well-being. He carefully administered Falcor’s medications three times a day as instructed, took him on plenty of walks, and gave him lots of cuddles and playtime. Knowing Falcor was in such caring, responsible, and responsive hands gave me tremendous peace of mind. I’ll definitely book Brian again!
Payton and Paige took incredible care of our 9 month old Bernese Mountain Dog pup while we were away at a wedding for 4 days. I was very nervous about leaving her because she'd had an ear infection and a huge lump on her head a few days before leaving so we had spent days at the vet and she didn't seem like herself. However, I decided to go and when we got back she was happy and healthy and had clearly had a great time. She even cried when Payton left! Payton (who did the majority of this sit) was brilliant and even washed our sheets for us before we got back! They were very communicative throughout the stay and sent photos each day. Payton gave Lucha her medication twice a day for the whole time we were gone and even bought some pill pockets to help her take her meds. Thank you both so much!
Christopher was an excellent dog, cat, and house sitter and id recommend him to anyone I know. He sent daily pics, took great care of our dogs, and was very quick to respond whenever we messaged. We have 3 small dogs and cat and Christopher took great care of all of them. I would book Christopher again and you should too!
Yali was amazing! She took really good care of my two babies while I was away for a week. Rose watched my terrier mix Marcus in my home for a weekend trip, and I’m looking forward to using her again! She took great care of Marcus and my home and made sure he got all of his medication. She has been very easy to work with and was responsive/provided great picture updates while I was away.
Emma was absolutely wonderful with Dabo! She sent us daily photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was communicative, thoughtful, and proactive about asking questions whenever she needed clarification about the house. We came home to a house that was somehow even cleaner than when we left it! Most importantly, I could tell Emma genuinely loved on our sweet cat and made sure he was well cared for. Aubrey was amazing! My anxious cat Agatha was so comfortable with her right away, and it was a relief to know that Aggie had someone with her while I was gone for two weeks. I loved the frequent text and picture updates, and I appreciate how tidy everything was when I got home! Aubrey was clearly respectful of my space, as well as taking great care of Aggie.
I would highly recommend Tiffany for anyone looking for a pet sitter! Tiffany house-sat for my cat for a week, and was wonderful to work with. Not only was she communicative throughout by sending pictures/videos and updates, but she made me feel at ease. It was my first time having a house-sitter and Tiffany was perfect. She was respectful of my space, which matters a lot when someone is staying in your home! I would love to have Tiffany watch Cloudy again in the future!
