“Brenda is incredible! This looked after Jack for a week while I was out of town. Jack is a huge scaredy cat and Brenda won him over quickly. I received regular updates including a plethora of pictures and a video each day. I was confident that Jack was well taken care of which allowed me to enjoy my vacation and without being worried about my kitty. I honestly think Jack missed the undivided attention now that we are home. I would highly recommend Brenda!”

“Sana was clean, communicative, sent plenty of photos, and my dog seems to be in fine health and happiness overall. She was clear about any issues that came up or gaps she in the schedule ahead of time and we were able to find workarounds together. When my trip ended up being a day shorter than planned, she was willing to refund the extra. I am very grateful and would happily book again! The only cons were my dog’s harness was taken off without asking and then chewed up, so it is now unusable, but I understand this was done out of habit and Sana didn’t know my dog was likely to chew it up. My dog also seems to be a bit more skiddish and anxious on walks than normal, though this is likely more closely tied to me leaving than how she was treated on walks.”

“Elisa was the best! Great communication before and during our trip. Our pug seemed to attach himself to her right away and adored her. Elisa also was willing to take care of our guinea pig. She sent many photos of their adventures together and even washed the sheets & remade the bed before leaving! I loved having peace of mind on our trip knowing that our fur babies were in compassionate, responsible hands. We’ll be asking Elisa to come back!”

“I’ve known Jeri close to 20 years. Our circle of friends never had “human” children, but we don’t consider ourselves child free. Our fur babies ARE our children, and we are very selective when choosing pet care. Over the years Jeri has helped so many people care for their animals when they were out of town. She has helped me personally numerous times. My cats came to our home very young and very feral. Even with all the time spent trying to socialize them, they are still terrified of people outside of myself and my husband. I was absolutely amazed that the very first night she was with our cats, she was sending me pictures of them snuggling and hanging out with her! Animals take to her so quickly. I’m sure they can sense that her nature is calm, warm, and caring. She has a long history of having fur babies of her own, and when she lost her last cat, while heart broken, she picked up the pieces and opened her home to foster dogs and cats in need of care. She has experience with very young animals as well as very senior animals. Her compassion to both is unmeasurable. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with her will see the same first hand.”

About: I’m Ruth and I’ve always loved animals! I have two cats and a turtle myself but have cared for friends’ dogs many times. I’ll be super careful to follow all your instructions so your doggy is happy and safe; and I’ll give them plenty of love! Walking for Rover will give me the chance to explore different neighborhoods and have fun while making time to be more active; I really look forward to that. At this point putting on photo shoots with my pets is basically my favorite hobby, so you’ll definitely be getting lots of wonderful pictures of our walks together, along with plenty of information on how our walk and bathroom times went. I work in student life at a middle school, so summers are my time to relax and make some extra money! I will have plenty of free time and flexibility to care for your pet. I am careful to follow instructions given to me. I am super communicative and love sending photos because I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet at home! And of course you miss them and they're super cute. :)
