About: I have many years of global house/pet sitting experience on other sites but am new to Rover. I will be back in the Seattle area from the beginning of October 2026 and will be house sitting until at least September 2027. September/October 2023 L.A./Orange County. I took care of 2 homes, dogs, cats, fish, indoor plants, large garden. February/April 2024 Seattle area. 5 housesits, dogs, cats, indoor plants, backyards, garden. July/August 2024 Hvar, Croatia. 1 housesit. Dog, indoor/outdoor plants. September/October 2024. Kailua, Hawaii. I took care of 1 home, 2 cats, 1 very large dog, indoor/outdoor plants. Large garden. February/May 2025. San Francisco/San Diego. I took care of 5 homes, 6 cats, indoor/outdoor plants, backyard and gardens July 2025. Mallorca, Spain. I sat for an amazing home with two large dogs, an extremely large orchard, a very large garden as well as a nursery. September 2025. Corfu, Greece. I sat for a 350 year old original Greek stone home with 8 cats, 2 dogs, a very large garden and exotic plants. November 2025-March 2026. Seattle, Washington. I sat for 7 homes, 3 very large dogs, 10 cats, indoor/outdoor plants as well as 2 large gardens. Confirmed, upcoming sits. July 2026. Estepona, Spain. 3 week sit for a large home. 2 dogs, 1 cat, very large orchard and garden. August 2026. Malaga, Spain. 2 week sit for 2 cats. 200 year old historical flat in the centre of Malaga. October 2026-September 2027 Seattle area. I already have 2 confirmed housesits and am currently interviewing for more. One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. About: I have had dogs since I was a kid, I can navigate puppy-hood to senior care. I have experience with big and small, separation anxiety, on and off leash behavior issues. As for cats, I didn't find my feline affinity until a bit later in life. I had my own cat (miss him so!) and I have volunteered at PAWS Cat City for more than a decade where I assist with adoptions, cleaning, cat socialization and care. I even volunteer and help out with the care of local mini horses. Can you believe there are mini horses in the city?!? I have finite bandwidth but I will communicate clearly to be sure that I am a right fit for your pet. I am eager to help pet parents and provide quality care to their furkids. I live in Madison Valley and have a single family home with a completely fenced in back yard with lots of terrain and territory to explore.

About: I’ve always had a passion for taking care of dogs and cats. I’m a personal trainer so I go on a lot of walks in the neighborhood to maintain my fitness. I care for pets by going on regular walks and making sure they are fed, hydrated and petted a lot throughout the day. It’s important they get attention like playing. The routine would be get up in the mornings go to the bathroom, outside then use some treats to practice on commands and then it would be breakfast time. I care for the pets in our home by keeping them warm and fed. And I also give them attention and some treats if necessary.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have hands-on experience caring for both younger and older dogs, including my own. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and understanding different dog personalities to help keep both the dog and myself safe and comfortable. I’ve also helped walk and care for friends’ dogs, which has taught me how to adapt to different energy levels, behaviors, and routines. I'm currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I'm fully available on most weekends for overnight dog sitting. And I am available on most weekdays, for daytime dog sitting, play dates with my dogs, or anything else your pup may need :) I have two dogs, one with a lot of energy but plays nicely and another that is a bit older with low energy. We have perfect areas in our house that have low noise and perfect for napping, and areas that are suitable for playing in! We keep our house stocked up with dog treats, safe water and toys.
