“Natalia is a wonderful sitter! She was very thorough, communicative, and captured many cute photos of our kitty. Denali was comfortable with her from the start. She helped make us feel comfortable while out of town, and we would absolutely book her again!”

About: I have had dogs since I was a kid, I can navigate puppy-hood to senior care. I have experience with big and small, separation anxiety, on and off leash behavior issues. As for cats, I didn't find my feline affinity until a bit later in life. I had my own cat (miss him so!) and I have volunteered at PAWS Cat City for more than a decade where I assist with adoptions, cleaning, cat socialization and care. I even volunteer and help out with the care of local mini horses. Can you believe there are mini horses in the city?!? I have finite bandwidth but I will communicate clearly to be sure that I am a right fit for your pet. I am eager to help pet parents and provide quality care to their furkids. I live in Madison Valley and have a single family home with a completely fenced in back yard with lots of terrain and territory to explore.

About: Hello! My name is Chelsea. As a former dog owner for over a 13 years to two well-behaved and well-trained shih tzus, I have the skills and the experience necessary to provide exceptional pet care experience. Since moving to Seattle, I am actively looking for opportunities to provide a loving, diligent and caring experience to other pet owners in need of help. What I provide is attentive detail to your dog's needs and reassurance that those needs will be met in a timely manner. I have accumulated experience walking dogs in Baltimore City (previous home!) and I will take that learning experience to provide the best care that I am able to give. More importantly, I provide amazing belly rubs! During the week, I am available during the evenings for walks. On the weekends, I have open availability for dog walks and boarding. I hope to meet your furry friend soon! I’m currently working full-time, primarily working from home and going into the office 1-2 days a week. Therefore, I can provide frequent potty breaks, play time, and whatever else is needed for your pup. I live in an apartment that is thoroughly cleaned before the arrival of your dog to make sure they don’t have access to any food or objects that could become potentially hazardous.
“We have two dogs that are polar opposites with one being reactive and the other having separation anxiety. Our first overnight away with a sitter in the home went spectacular 10/10 recommend. Came home to both dogs calm and relaxed. Nikki is the best!”

“Olivia was great and we'll definitely book her again! We had a last minute cancellation the day before we left and she was able to do a meet and greet that same night to go over our cat's needs. She was already experienced with oral medication, so I felt super confident leaving our IBD cat in her care and she did a great job! He had no issues and seemed to take to her right away. This was a great first experience with Rover and Olivia!”
“Ruth and Rachid were amazing cat sitters for our trip!!! Our cat Ryuji absolutely loved them and we will not hesitate to have them take care of her again in the future.”

“Noah was amazing with our two pups while we were away on vacation. He gave us confidence in his care from the moment we introduced him to the dogs. Will be using him for all of our trips!”

“Emily provided detailed updates and lots of photos for each visit. She was able to administer my cat’s inhaler. I had no worries about my pets while I was gone - they were in good hands and were very comfortable with Emily.”

“Aubrey helped with drop-ins & walks while I acclimated to my new job, and she did really great with my dogs. They were both at ease whenever she would bring them back home. Would def recommend her to other pet parents!”

“First time booking with Rachael and she was amazing! Even my shy cat came out to say hi and get pets from her! Definitely will rebook next time I’m out of town! Thanks again! Bubbles and Buttercup say thanks too lol”

“Brenda is just fabulous. Not only does she take really good care of my kitty, she also makes sure she’s enriching him during the time she spends. I am able to enjoy time away so much easier knowing he’s in good hands and being well cared for!”

One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. Please feel free to contact me so we can speak in person about your pets, home and your requirements.
“Carly was amazing! Very flexible as I had to schedule the visits last minute. Excellent communication and she took lots of photos of my two boys! My one cat is very skittish and tends to hide around new people but he came out for her and let her give him pets! They clearly liked and trusted her. Very grateful to know they were taken such good care of while I was away. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Lisa has been great with our cats. I especially love how she took the time to come over and meet our cats to let them get familiar with her before she cat-sat for us. She does a great job and we come home to two happy cats!”

About: Hi, I’m Ana-Lisa! My partner and I are lifelong dog lovers based near Seattle’s beautiful Arboretum. We share our home with two friendly, well-socialized female dogs, including a sweet senior dog who enjoys a calm and comfortable environment. We have a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and are just a short walk from scenic trails for daily walks and enrichment. Our home is best suited for dogs who enjoy a relaxed environment with plenty of companionship, individualized attention, and a consistent routine. Crate-Trained Dogs Welcome If your pup is accustomed to sleeping in a crate overnight, we’re happy to accommodate their routine. We have multiple crate sizes available, making drop-off easier and helping dogs settle in comfortably. What Makes Us a Great Fit 🐾 Calm, personalized care – We focus on creating a comfortable, low-stress experience for every dog in our home. 🌿 Fenced yard + Arboretum walks – Daily opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and exploring new smells. 🕒 Home most of the day – My partner works from home and I work part-time, so someone is usually available to provide care and companionship. 💊 Medication experience – We have experience administering medications and caring for senior dogs with specific routines and needs. 💕 Family-style environment – Plenty of affection, attention, cozy naps, and photo updates throughout your dog’s stay. Why Choose Us? We understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog in someone else’s care. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable home environment where dogs can relax, feel secure, and receive individualized attention while you’re away. Before confirming new boarding stays, I like to arrange a meet and greet. This gives us an opportunity to discuss your dog’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special care needs while allowing the dogs to become acquainted. Because I share my home with a senior dog, meet and greets help ensure the stay will be comfortable and successful for everyone involved. I currently work part-time, and my partner works from home, so one of us is almost always home with the dogs. This gives us the flexibility to provide consistent care, potty breaks, walks, medication administration when needed, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. Our home is best suited for dogs who enjoy a relaxed environment with lots of human interaction and supervision. We share our home with two friendly female dogs, including a senior dog who enjoys a calm and comfortable environment. Because of this, our home is best suited for dogs with low-to-moderate energy levels who are able to relax indoors and coexist respectfully with other dogs. We strive to provide a safe, structured, and stress-free experience where every dog feels comfortable and cared for.

“Glad to find someone close by able to give Kitty some affection and took care to follow instructions, left my place secure. Was my 1st time using Rover! would use again”

About: I’ve always had a passion for taking care of dogs and cats. I’m a personal trainer so I go on a lot of walks in the neighborhood to maintain my fitness. I care for pets by going on regular walks and making sure they are fed, hydrated and petted a lot throughout the day. It’s important they get attention like playing. The routine would be get up in the mornings go to the bathroom, outside then use some treats to practice on commands and then it would be breakfast time. I care for the pets in our home by keeping them warm and fed. And I also give them attention and some treats if necessary.
“Left somewhat hastily and needed a sitter for my corgi. Craig stepped right up. My corgi loves hanging out with him and having a friend around when im out of town. Even left snacks in my fridge when i got back! 10/10 would def recommend and use again.”

Andy has been taking care of our kitties for quite some time now and we are so grateful for his continued care and diligence! One of our cats has cancer and needs ear medicine. She isn’t thrilled with the medication and Andy has been very persistent about making sure she gets it. Thank you for your patience and care!

Carter is the best! He truly went above and beyond in every way. He was incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and made sure our cats received excellent care, attention, and love. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands, and we would absolutely book with him again.

Morgan was absolutely fantastic. One of our cats is a bit slow to open up, and she gave her plenty of time to warm up at her own pace. Within just a couple days, both our cats were asking her for attention and coming out for playtime. We came home to very happy cats and a very clean apartment. I asked if she could water some plants and pick up some packages as well. All our packages were brought in safely and all plants were flourishing when we returned. I’d highly recommend Morgan if you need a responsible cat and house sitter who is amazing at communication.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Amethyst! She took amazing care of my cat, Steve, and treated him like he was her own. She was kind, reliable, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I came home to a happy kitty and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!

Once again, Natalia did an amazing job taking care of my cat. She’s always attentive, very communicative, and makes sure everything is taken care of while I’m away. She is incredibly sweet, dependable, and someone I trust completely. I’m so grateful to have found her.❤️

Heidi is a great walker for our dog and a great drop in visitor for our cat. She takes really cute pictures and leaves very detailed Rover Cards. She is so caring and kind with them and very attentive with their unique needs. We all appreciate her so much, and I could not recommend her more.
