“Roman has been great to work with! He is very flexible and has helped us at short notice, on more than one occasion. He is also very responsive and communicative. Scoob and Porkchop are always happy to see him.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have continued to love taking care of and walking dogs throughout my life. When not living with a dog, I've routinely volunteered at animal rescues to get some dog cuddles in my life. Through these experiences I am skilled at walking numerous breeds, including dog reactive dogs. Have a pit-bull or a medium-large sized dog who needs some extra love or time outdoors, let me know! I work seasonal contract work so I am flexible with weekday, weekend and during the workday hours. I prefer mid-morning walks, but let me know when is best for you! I am often away for 1-2 weeks work contracts but am a great option for sporadic or last minute dog walking needs. I'll treat your dog like my own! Lots of walks, nighttime cuddles, playtime, and some clear structure and expectations for your pup. For walks I make sure to provide an adequate distance for your dog, not let anyone get too excited or interact with strangers, and clean paws at the end of the walk.
“Julia is amazing! She has been dropping in to check on my senior cat. She always takes great care of my cat and also goes above & beyond to help with extra favors that I ask of her. I highly recommend Julia to anyone who needs help with their furry friends!”

“Aly is an absolute delight. Every time I checked on Sora with the pet cam, she was healthy and happy, but one time I managed to catch when Aly arrived and my cat bolted off the couch in joy to see Aly. She was well-fed, she was played with, and in every photo she just looked so upbeat. Aly is an amazing sitter, considerate and caring, and I would absolutely book again.”

About: Been a dog and cat owner my whole life. Currently live with two dog-friendly cattos, and would love to take care of and love on your pets! I have a flexible schedule and work just a mile or so from home so can pop in frequently to exercise those fur-babies. We’re a dog friendly, safe family. No kids come over. Comfy furniture for all the cuddles, nothing fancy to break or chew or destroy. I’ve trained three dogs from puppyhood and have all the patience in the world as we learn to be potty trained and leash obedient. All hardwoods, lots of exercise. What more could you need?! My partner and I have very flexible schedules! We currently work from home part of the week and write our own schedules. I would be available to walk, cuddle and take care of your beloved pet whenever necessary! We have a fenced in yard in addition to a spacious home. I have over a decade of experience caring for, raising and training both dogs and cats. Currently we have no dogs living in our home with us.
About: Hi there! I’ve been around dogs since I was 5 years old. I grew up with a pug and a black lab, and my love for animals only grew from there. I began caring for other people’s dogs at 15, and adopted my own pup when I was 18-she’s now a happy and healthy 9-year-old! Over the years, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and gained experience with a wide range of breeds from Bernie doodles to Chihuahuas - and all kinds of personalities. Whether your dog is high-energy or a couch potato, skittish or reactive, or has special medical needs. I’m confident in providing them with the care and attention they deserve. I’m currently a medical student at the university of Washington and in my clinical rotations. My weekends are flexible, as I typically use that time to study - so I’m available to give your pet the love and care they need while you’re away. Feel free to message me if you think I’d be a good fit for your pet. I like to emulate the schedule you maintain with your pets as much as possible so they feel happy and comfortable with me. Giving them lots of enrichment activities is near and dear to my heart since my own dog is constantly needing a distraction.
“We can not thank Elizabeth enough. Last minute we needed someone to look over our 3 year old frenchie while we went on a trip back home, and with in a couple hours of putting in a request with Elizabeth she responded saying she would do it! While we were gone we received updates and pictures regarding how Vader was doing! If you have any hesitations I hope this helps because Elizabeth is amazing! Thank you again so much!”

“Teddy let me know when he arrived, sent photos, and spent time playing with my dogs after their dinner. Dogs were happy and the house was perfect when I got home. Highly recommend!”

“Rachel was an absolutely wonderful sitter! She was incredibly responsible and kept me updated with tons of photos and videos, along with detailed status updates throughout hours. Whether she was walking my dog or spending time with him at home, she always made sure I knew how he was doing. She’s also very attentive to details and extremely patient, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared and took the time to understand my dog’s special needs. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter !!!!!!!”

“Amanda is great! She took care of my elderly dog for a weekend and was very nice in letting me know after every walk how my dog was doing! She also send multiple pictures of my dog Toby during his walks. I will definitely use her services again🌸”

“Rachael took such wonderful care of my dog while I was gone for the Holidays. Always super punctual with check-ins, walks, and she is really good at sending updates with each visit. She even washed Theo's raincoat for him. 1000% recommend her for taking care of your pet <3”

About: I consider myself to be a loving and caring person, saving the most room in my heart for dogs and other furry friends. Dogs have always been part of the family - from my grandparents’ tradition of always having a little white dog to caring for large rescue dogs with difficult pasts. I’m always sensitive to a dog’s feelings, trying to anticipate their needs and making sure they always feel safe and comfortable. This was most apparent in my relationship with my own dog, Fille, who passed in June 2025. She was a scared and traumatized rescue that was found lost wandering the desert in Arizona, but after adopting her in 2018 and spending 7 wonderful years together, she blossomed into a confident (albeit stubborn) pup who received lots of love and support so she could explore the world with me. During our last year together, I got first-hand experience with not only senior care but disabled dog care; Fille was living with partial paralysis in her hind legs, and so I learned how to best support her mobility on walks and take care of pain management, physical therapy, and other special needs as they arose. I would love to treat your dog with the same compassion and love and look forward to many future walks and visits! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can care for pets on any schedule. I do sometimes travel for work, but my availability will surely be updated with plenty of advance notice to accommodate any pet parent’s needs! Pets would be allowed full range of my home, and I ensure that any potential hazards (cords, garbage, etc.) are properly stowed away and cannot be accessed by any four-legged friends. If desired, I have space to accommodate a kennel. Living very close to a big park, I’m an avid explorer of the grounds and loved to take breaks out there with my furry friend, Fille. My apartment building has a shared entrance, but I have a good rapport with my neighbors and can take any precautions if requested. There are stairs and a functioning elevator for any dogs with mobility issues.

“Sebastian is always great with Wilbur, even through his puppy teething phase and as he grows into a bigger dog! Sebastian always sends photos and videos of Wilbur, even for short drop in visits, and is very accommodating of last minute changes.”

About: I've cared for animals my entire life, starting with my own pets as a child. I've also provided trusted care for friends', neighbors, and family members dogs, cats, horses, birds, and small critters. I'm especially experienced with rescue pets, having cared for my own dog who was rescued as a street dog from Taiwan, as well as 2 kittens rescued from a bucket on the streets of LA. This has taught me patience, compassion, and how to support pets with unique backgrounds and needs. I treat every animal with the same love, respect, and attention I have given my own. Because every pet is family. I'm a single mom and I run my own small business from home, which allows me to make my own schedule and stay flexible. My kids are in daycare during the day, so I'm fully available to focus on pet care. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits anytime between 7:30 AM to 5 PM allowing plenty of time of time to focus on your pet's needs. I can also be available on the weekends anytime with enough notice. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need care outside of these hours and we can try to work something out. At this time, caring for pets in my home can be a bit more challenging, as I have two small children and two resident cats. Because of this, in-home care would need to be the right fit for everyone involved. I may be open to hosting a small animal that is comfortable around children and cats, calm in a family environment, and able to transition well into a shared space. My priority is always safety, comfort, and a positive experience for both your pet and family.
About: I have had and taken care of pets since I was 6 years old and I have around 4 years of pet sitting experience for family and friends. I have 3 cats and one small dog and I have pet sit for cats, and dogs of all sizes and personalities! I will give your animals all the love they deserve (which is all of it), and make sure they feel safe and comfortable at all times. I love animals and being outdoors and I am currently studying environmental science at UW with a focus on wildlife conservation! I'm a current UW student with a fairly open/flexible schedule! But I do have to account for classes. I am available: - Monday/Wednesday/Friday before 11:30am and after 1:30pm - Tuesday/Thursday after 12:30pm - Saturday/Sunday all day When taking care of your pets, whether it be for walks, drop ins or sitting, I make sure to make their happiness and safety the priority. I will treat your pets as I treat my own and I will make sure that they feel loved and cared for at all times. If I am at your house taking care of your animals, I will make sure to respect your space and rules to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pet/s. I will behave in a conscious manner so that I can provide a safe environment for your animals and I can follow directions well, which ensures that your animal can keep a normal routine that they are comfortable with. I will be able to provide walks, play-time, food, attention, medicine etc. based on your pets needs and feel comfortable with all aspects of pet care!
“Kevin was great with Toby! And Kevin was able to take my booking at the last minute--it really helped. He also take amazing pictures. I will be booking Kevin again for visits with my little guy.”

“Susy was great! This was my first time using Rover, and she made it a great experience. I have two old lady dogs. Both are sweet with humans, but one is a problem child when it comes to being around strange dogs. Having Susy come to my home allowed me to avoid having the problem child in a crowded doggy daycare, and they could just chill in their own home while we were away. She sent me lovely pics and descriptive report cards of each visit. Will definitely be having her come hang with my old lady dogs again if she'll have us!!”
Montlake pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had a wonderful experience with Annie! She took amazing care of our two cats and kept us updated with lots of photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. She even cleaned up after one of our cats which we truly appreciated — going above and beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend Annie and we will absolutely be booking with her again!

Mei is truly the highest tier cat sitter on rover. She is highly communicative and very proactive about keys and care for my cats. She asked excellent questions in the walkthrough and followed instructions to a T. She knows we all want a lot of photos of our animals and totally delivers with way more photos than I’ve ever seen a cat sitter take for us. Thank you so much Mei ❤️

I was so anxious about my long trip for my mother's surgery, but Liberty and Caleb felts like they were sent by the cat gods! They were so communicative and willing to hear feedback or change things up based on my cats' weird quirks. Even my I felt so safe and sound knowing my cats had them and that they felt just as loved as when I'm here. I'm eternally grateful to Liberty and Caleb!
